He slowly wrapped his arms around her, sinking into her warm hug. Khaos inhaled sweet smell. He had saved her. He saved her, no one ever wanted to get close to a walking disaster. Everyone called her a monster, everyone feared her, but ... but only Kasper had a genuine feeling of surprise than fear during their first meeting. He had become her first friend and now her fiance.
Khaos: (placed him back on the ground then smiled with he long white saber teeth poking out)
Plagg: Hey (placed his arm on Kasper shoulder) Come back home alive and don't make Khaos worry.
Kasper: Yes sir Plagg.
Plagg: And when you're back we'll have a family meeting about having kids of your own. I need some demon annoying nephews and cute nieces. Right Khaos? You'll birth Kasper children when he's back? (Asked in a teasing tone)
Lyraen: Erhhhh? (Her mind screamed loud in surprise. She wasn't expecting such proposal to Kasper on behalf of Khaos. Plagg had proposal that his little sister and him would be having children of his)
Khaos: (hid her face behind her palms embarrassed) B...big brother?
Plagg: (cackles) Ahahaha...
Calylixa: Sir Kasper (stepped forward with someone walking next to her)
Kasper: Luna? (Shocked)
Calylixa: (handed over a scroll to Kasper with a bow)
Kasper: (reached out for the scroll and broke the seal before opening it to read)
Kasper read through the scroll quickly then looked up Luna surprised.
Kasper: Sir Bael allowed you to leave? Doesn't that count as betrayal? (Puzzled)
Luna: Yes sir Kasper. It indirectly counts as betrayal but still he allowed me to go. You saved my mother and brother and I'll repay you by serving you till my last breathe. (Got down on a knee)
Kasper: Oh...kay (scratched his cheek awkwardly)
Leon: (suddenly handed Kasper a rope) Here
Kasper: (stared at the rope then looked up before realizing the human was among them all along) Oh wow... She really did send me the human.
Watz: (shivered at the midst of 7 demons that could devour him at anytime)
Kasper: It's fine, you don't have to be scared Watz. (Slowly walked up to him then whispered quietly)
Watz: (looked up with fear in his eyes)
Kasper: If you're scared of being here, you can get into the carriage (pulled out a short knife and cut off the rope tying his hand together then gestured for him to get into the carriage)
Plagg: We shouldn't keep you any much longer here. The distance from here to the kingdom's border is quiet a trip since you have to pass through the main route. (Spoke up)
Their gaze shifted to Kasper with mixed feeling. Everyone stared at him with longing for him to wait a little long but he had to leave before time goes by quick and the night catches up.
Leon: Hm (nods) Right, we shouldn't keep you waiting.
Kasper: (smiled meekly)
Lyraen: Ehm... K...Kas...
Kasper: (stepped forward then gave a light pat on her head) Take care of yourself lady Lyraen.
Lyraen: (quickly looked down at her hands then up with a quick nod) Yes, I'll. I'll protect the kingdom along side the other members of the royal council in your absence.
Kasper: That's more like you. (Turned to Khaos) Bend lower a bit Khaos.
Khaos: Uhn? (Bent lower without questioning his request though)
Kasper: (placed his arm around her neck putting on something) Look, it's pretty on you.
Khaos: (lifted her head then looked at her neck) What is this?
Kasper: You gave me your clan's necklace so I'm giving this to you also. It's a heirloom mother gave me. I gave you a pair. It will save you when you're in trouble.
Khaos: (stared at the necklace mesmerized. Her eyes glimmered flashing cheerful stars as she stared at the silver necklace) Thank you Kasper.
Kasper: (smiles then took few steps backwards when he heard the neighs of the horses ready to embark on their journey) I'll see you all soon. (Waved)
Luna: (hopped unto the front carriage seated next to the demon rider)
Plagg: See you soon (waved)
Others: Byee. (Waved)
Sylara: Papa (leaned over to Kasper)
Watz: (stared quietly at the human seated across)
Kasper: Wondering why you're here?
Watz: (gulped) Y...yes
Kasper: I promised to save you. The demon queen wouldn't kill human for sacrifice as long as we do not cross terms with them. We're still at a temporary peace with them. (Explained)
Watz: Are you switched sides from human to demon because we are weak?
