We charge once again at the massive creature in front of us. The Boosted Gear keeps boosting me and increasing my power.
"Give me a boost."
The Emperor demands, holding Khorne in place.
"Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Transfer!"
Five boosts transfer to the Emperor, who shines even brighter than before and floods the entire battlefield in golden light. With a swing of his sword, golden light cuts through the axe Khorne holds, killing another Greater Daemon.
I thrust my fist, releasing a massive torrent of [Banishing Fire], burning the Chaos God and releasing a blast of pure explosion next.
A myriad of explosions, elemental attacks, and even reality-breaking attacks happen all at once on the battlefield as we fight the massive Chaos God. The two of us keep fighting against Khorne and make sure he does not go anywhere. Our bodies are full of wounds from the Chaos God, who makes sure we feel pain from his attacks.
Even with Boosted Gear, I can feel some of my bones breaking, and only through [Cure] am I able to continue the fight. The Balance Breaker armor is also full of holes and cracks from the fight. That bastard hits like a truck, and whatever he is holding always strikes my true body while also damaging the armor. Not only that, each time I hit him with a physical attack, I receive double the damage I deal to him. I decide to focus on attacking him from far away because I cannot counter whatever he is doing, unlike the Emperor. At least my spear made of [Divine Blade] is among the things that counter that annoying thing.
I take a deep breath and use my [Primordial Earth] ability. The ground underneath the Chaos God starts to move, creating a prison that holds him back. It hardens and attempts to block his movement. Not only that, but I create five sharp spears made of earth, attempting to pierce through his body.
I click my tongue when I see Khorne easily ignore my attack and even break the prison I make using his psychic power and pure physical might. It takes psychic power to block his movement, and something as ordinary as thousands of tons of earth is not enough to hold him back.
However, it is good enough to act as an annoyance and a standing platform for the Emperor to reach Khorne's head. Not only that, the Emperor even uses the earth, sand, and dirt I control to his advantage. He turns all of them into psychic items that can affect the Chaos God, and lets me control them through my ability.
I need to multitask as not only do I control the [Primordial Earth], but I also need to fight Khorne in close combat. With a swing of my spear, I parry his axe, summon a massive spike made of earth, piercing through his left hand, and release a dark red energy at him.
Khorne greets my attack with a psychic attack of his own. Sadly for him, through [Stinger] power, his attack has no effect against mine and hits him in the neck, creating a hole. I get thrown away as he roars in anger, and as I manage to regain control over my body, I can see the hole slowly closing up.
The effect of mortality ensures the wound closes very slowly.
I raise my spear to block the incoming attack, but watch it break from the impact and grunt a little as I block the axe coming at me. I can hear the crack before my body gets thrown deep into the ground. I turn the ground into sand, slightly reducing the damage.
However, before I can even do anything, Khorne releases a massive torrent of fire at me. I cover my body with earth, but the fire is too hot; it melts the earth and turns the sand into molten glass. Even with my Balance Breaker mode, I can feel my skin burn, and I need to use [Blink] to teleport away.
I watch as golden fire engulfs the Chaos God and stops his attack against me. It is enough for me to take a deep breath, heal myself, and join the fight once again. I appear in front of Khorne's face and punch him in the head with a [Stinger] enchanted punch.
The attack hit and destroyed a good chunk of his head, but it immediately regenerated slowly and did not bother the Chaos God whatsoever, other than making him angrier if that was possible. His eyes glow, releasing a massive blast of energy toward me. I swing my spear and attempt to cut through the attack, but it is not working, and instead the blast hits me and throws me a hundred meters away from him.
I can feel my energy recovering and reaching a certain level. I clap my hands and gather energy into the core of Boosted Gear. It is not Longinus Smasher, the strongest attack one can do while in Juggernaut Drive mode, but it is good enough.
Not only that, but I also added [Stinger] enchantment and a lot of [Banishing Fire] into this attack.
"Purification Blast"
A flame-like blast comes out of my mouth and flies through the air toward the Chaos God. I can see him twist reality and bring back his realm into this reality, but on a smaller scale. However, the power of [Stinger] can penetrate the false reality he places within the layer of realspace.
With a swift movement, Khorne moves to the side and even sacrifices one of his hands to move away from my attack. He throws his axe at me, and the axe gets bigger and bigger. I use my [Armament Haki], and with another dozen boosts, I thrust my fist at the axe.
I can hear a crack from both my armor and the axe before I engulf the axe with [Banishing Fire]. The axe disappears and returns to Khorne, who banishes my fire with his own fire.
Before I join the Emperor, I can hear a voice. It is ROB.
"It is time, Kael. It is time to end this. It is the weakest Khorne ever to be, and it is time for you to kill him for good. Take out Black Barrel and end the fight before he is banished back to his realm and returns to his full power. Follow these steps to make your exit more epic and help me in the long run."
After he is done, I can feel a massive explosion happening, and the Emperor gets thrown toward me. I catch him and let him stand next to me.
"Thank you, Old Friend. Can you still fight? I can feel his time is almost over."
"I can still fight. I also can feel that he is on his last leg. However, I have a plan to end this faster."
"What do you mean?"
Instead of answering him, I summon the [Black Barrel] and watch him light up. He understands what I want to do. Sadly, he doesn't know the full plan. I know he thinks I want to deal enough damage to Khorne so he goes away faster. I will go more than that.
"Can you hold him back? A minute or two. I need to prepare to shoot him."
"I need a massive boost."
"You get it."
I take a deep breath and start boosting. The Emperor uses his full psychic power to fight Khrone from a distance and lets me do whatever I need to do.
"Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost."
A dozen boosts done, and with a deep breath, I touch the Emperor.
"Transfer!"
His power explodes, and I can feel his power make his armor crack under the pressure. I can feel heat emanating from him, and if not for his control, I have a feeling his psychic power alone would hurt me badly.
"Take your time, Old Friend. I will handle this."
I nod and focus on the gun next to me. I take out the [Soul Stone] and remove it from the chassis I made for it. I grab the stone with my bare hand, and I can feel its primordial power coursing through my body as it attempts to destroy me.
I grunt a little and say.
"Through the passing of the Void, that soul born from nothingness, and through the passing of my Immortal Soul, that I grant True Void to my enemy! O Soul Stone, witness my deeds and my end! Behold my immortal soul blazing once more! Let this star shine across the galaxy! Let my True Death be witnessed! Let this star set ablaze for one last time!"
As I chant, my voice gets carried across the battlefield and even across the Warp itself. My voice carries the power of the Primordial. I am not just staying idle while chanting. Through the chanting, I put everything I have into this single attack. I enchant this attack with [Authority of Death], [Stinger], and [Banishing Fire].
This will be the last attack. I can see the Emperor hesitate for a moment when he hears and feels what I am trying to do. However, he keeps his promise. He uses all of his power to hold the Chaos God in place, unmoving.
And I decide to name the ultimate attack in honor of my favorite sacrificial archer.
"STELLA!"
And the world witnesses light. A massive, bright light appears, visible across the star system. The light flies through everything the Chaos God creates. Even the Chaos Gods watching from their realm attempt to help their fellow God, but the attack punches through all of them like a hot knife through butter.
In a matter of seconds, the light punches through Khorne right in his core. The star hits its target, and its light starts to dim before it is gone a second later.
