"Seekvaira, it's been a while."
Tenra stepped into the center of the standoff, giving Seekvaira a polite nod.
"You?" Seekvaira blinked, finally noticing Tenra and Rias's group. She'd been so focused on Jefard's gang, she hadn't realized the others had arrived. Surprise flickered across her usually cool features.
Tenra smiled, then turned to the thugs opposite her. "Hey, delinquent boss—how about you call it quits? Ruining everyone's party isn't a great look."
"Hah? And who the hell are you supposed to be, kid? You got a death wish or something?" Jefard, nose in the air, barely spared Tenra a glance.
"Phoenix family. Kamiyo Tenra." Tenra shrugged, introducing himself with casual indifference.
"Kamiyo Tenra—wait, that Kamiyo Tenra?!"
A wave of whispers swept through the hall. Dozens of eyes snapped to Tenra, their gazes shifting from curiosity to awe.
The stories had spread everywhere—his duel with Riser, stopping Kokabiel's rampage, defeating the White Dragon Emperor to become the only Dual Heavens Lord in history. Whether in the Underworld or Heaven, Tenra's name was now legend.
"So you're the Phoenix family's so-called miracle child? You don't look like much to me," Jefard sneered. "Heard you've got some big-shot Sacred Gear and became the Dual Heavens Lord. Come on—show me what you've got!"
"Yeah, let's see it! Don't hold back!" his cronies jeered, egging him on.
Tenra just shook his head. How a bunch of punks like this got picked as family representatives was anyone's guess. He met Jefard's eyes, voice flat: "You're not even worth the effort."
"You little—! Think you can talk down to me, Phoenix trash?!" Jefard's face twisted with rage. He balled his fist, ready to swing.
But—
BOOM!
Jefard never got close. In a single blur of movement, Tenra sent him flying with a kick, smashing him through the hall's wall and burying him in rubble. The guy was out cold before he even hit the ground.
The room froze. For a heartbeat, no one moved. Then, as Tenra casually dusted off his hands, a collective gasp swept through the crowd.
He… he just one-shotted Jefard. Instant knock-out.
"Jefard-sama!"
Jefard's lackeys shouted and surged forward—only to freeze after two steps.
"Hey, big brothers, try anything and I'll slice you up. Really, I will!" Yubelluna and the girls had already moved, magic at the ready, eyes cold and locked on vital points. Mischievous Ile and Nel grinned wickedly, running their chainsaws along a trembling thug's arm. The poor guy nearly fainted from terror.
Jefard's entire peerage was subdued in a flash. The hall fell silent—whether King or servant, the gap was just too wide.
"Relax. Your boss isn't dead. There's an important gathering about to start—don't do anything stupid. Go dig him out instead."
At Tenra's signal, Yubelluna and the others stepped back. The defeated devils, now fully aware of the difference in power, bowed hastily to Tenra and scrambled to rescue their leader.
"Onii-chan, are you alright?" Ravel hurried over, worry written all over her face.
"Don't worry. That kind of opponent can't lay a finger on me." Tenra ruffled her hair, laughing softly.
Ravel's cheeks flushed as she gazed up at him—her heart pounding faster than ever. Her Tenra Onii-chan really was the best…

By the time the dust settled, servants had already repaired the damage. Letting their peerages mingle, Tenra, Rias, Sona, Sairaorg, and Seekvaira—the five new generation "Heavenly Kings"—gathered at one table.
"Kamiyo Tenra, thank you for earlier," Seekvaira said, her eyes earnest.
She wasn't afraid of Jefard, but fighting here would've been a stain on her reputation. Tenra's intervention had saved her a lot of trouble.
"Don't mention it. We're friends, aren't we?" Tenra sipped his tea, waving it off.
"By the way, who was that clown? Which family does he represent?" Tenra asked, genuine curiosity in his tone.
Everyone here was from a prestigious household. Most, no matter how rotten inside, would at least pretend to be noble in public. But these guys? Pure troublemakers.
"His name's Jefard—next in line for the Glasya-Labolas family," Sairaorg answered with a wry grin.
Tenra's eyes widened. "Wait, seriously? Isn't that Demon Lord Asmodeus's main house? How does a guy with that attitude—and that weak—end up as heir?"
"The Glasya-Labolas family had a shake-up recently. The original successor died in an 'accident,' so Jefard became the candidate by default. His personality's definitely garbage, but as for strength—" Sairaorg shrugged.
"It's not that he's weak. You're just too strong, Kamiyo Tenra," Rias explained, while Sona picked up the thread, her tone dry.
Jefard's personality made him unpopular, but his power still ranked top ten among their generation. If he were truly weak, he'd never have made it as heir after the previous candidate died. In a real fight, even Sona would need everything she had to win.
But Tenra had floored him in one move. That kind of gap… stung.
Tenra rubbed his nose, a little embarrassed. He hadn't meant to show off—opponents like Jefard just didn't interest him anymore.
Sairaorg burst out laughing, eyes gleaming with battle lust. Even Rias and Seekvaira looked thoughtful, each lost in their own calculations. Not wanting to rub salt in the wound, Tenra wisely changed the subject.
—
Suddenly, he felt a hostile gaze. Tenra glanced over—Diodora, seated nearby, was glaring at him with icy resentment.
Just another sore loser. Tenra ignored him, turning back to his friends and their conversation.
"KAMIYO TENRA!!!" Diodora's voice shook with fury. He nearly ground his teeth to dust.
But then his eyes landed on Asia, who was enjoying desserts with Ile and Nel. Diodora's expression changed—scheming, hungry.
"Asia-san, do you remember me? I'm Diodora Astaroth—the devil you once healed."
He approached, all smiles and fake courtesy. If he could lure Asia away from Tenra, it'd be the perfect way to spite him—or so Diodora thought, venomously.
But—
"D-Diodora-san is a bad person. I don't want to talk to you!"
Asia's cheeks flushed, but her voice was firm. She'd already learned the truth about Diodora from Tenra and had seen the truth at Rias and Tenra's engagement. Without waiting for a reply, she grabbed her dessert and scurried away.
Diodora's eye twitched, rage boiling over. He barely kept himself from exploding on the spot.
One after another, they all dared to look down on him. Damn Kamiyo Tenra. Damn Asia Argento. Just you wait!
