The little boy looked no older than four years old. His cheeks were soft and chubby while his large eyes sparkled brightly.
"Can you bend down?"
Lana immediately crouched beside him curiously. The next second, the little boy directly kissed her cheek.
Then he giggled happily. "Sister Lana smells sweet."
The moment those innocent words entered her ears, Lana burst into laughter. "You're much sweeter."
Meanwhile, Conrad silently watched their interaction.
For some reason… his heart suddenly softened unexpectedly.
Seeing Lana naturally surrounded by children like this made her seem incredibly warm and gentle.
He could not help chuckling quietly. "They seem very familiar with you."
And just like that, Conrad spent the entire day at the orphanage together with Lana.
Unexpectedly… it turned out to be one of the most relaxing days he had experienced in years.
