He calmly picked up his teacup. "I was already considering investing in Tianmen City."
A faint smile appeared on his face. "Lana's words only strengthened my determination."
Thompson remained silent for a few moments.
Eventually, he nodded. "Very well."
Then his expression turned serious.
"You do realize that the five hundred billion dollars you're investing personally represents nearly all of your liquid assets."
His gaze sharpened. "Once you commit that money, there won't be much left."
Hearing those words, Conrad chuckled. "It's alright."
His voice was filled with confidence.

He truly believed that.
