A moment later, the ghostly figures gradually appeared within her vision.
Julia's expression changed. She glanced toward Lana.
"What should we do?"
Lana paused before giving her a faint smile. "Isn't that too much to ask from a newbie who has just joined?"
Julia smiled back. "We respect your decision."
While the two of them were talking, the children suddenly turned their heads toward Lana and Julia at the same time.
Their expressions were filled with resentment.
One of the ghosts immediately shouted,
"Again? Another intruder? I am truly done with these intruders. Can't they let us sing for our grandfather's birthday? Honestly, they bully us too much. Grandfather, you should teach them a lesson!"
The grandfather calmly shook his head, looking almost like a peaceful Buddha who had no intention of getting involved.
"Let them argue. As long as they don't harm us, we shouldn't pay attention to them."
His words, however, seemed to trigger one of his grandsons.
