Livia kept her mouth shut . Having unintentionally ignored Mellinia's sarcastic remark , she found herself experiencing rather mixed feelings about the whole thing.
A familiar yet strange sensation .
A scene both novel and familiar.
Livia Maren, She was Livia Maren yet she was not.
Why was she Livia Maren?
Why did she recognized the academy infirmary and these strange clothing at a glance ? and why was she so unfazed by all these strange things ?
Why was she Livia Maren?
'Livia…Livia Maren .I have heard this name somewhere without these strange yet familiar feelings. Oh, wait! No way….?!'
I remember now .That's the name of the third rate villainess "Madlin's "lackeys" from the novel 'Shadows over Vireholm'.
At first she was only a lackey of Madline . One of those fake friends who stood behind her, laughed at the heroine, and got slapped by fate somewhere around chapter 47.
It was around that chapter it was revealed that she was the one who did all the misdeed and tried to frame Madine . But it was never revealed why she did that.
Suddenly there was two knocks on the marble door.
"Teacher may I come in?"
A high-pitched beautiful voice reached the ears of both Livia and Mellinia's . It was delicate yet imposing.
"Gasp!"
The sound came from Mellinia. Her body ,which was going through motion of work , visibly flinched.
But Mellinia was not the only one , when Livia heard the voice beyond the marble door her body stiffened . She felt a shiver run down her spine. She instinctively strengthen her hand and bit her lips.
"Ye-YES, Come in…"
Mellinis spoke with a cracked voice . She forced herself to lift the teacup to her lips, attempting to ease her sudden stiffness .
' Sigh! This is difficult , Lady FELISTE is….'
Feeling a cold sweat trickling down her face. She looked at the infirmary door where the voice came.
'Why..Why was she feeling? Why was she afraid of the voice?'
That was the last question came to her mind that day..
She still didn't have the answer, but all she wanted that the marble door of the infirmary doesn't open.
At the same time she felt that if the door opened all the unknown and unanswered questions will be answered.
At that regardless whatever Livia wanted or not ,the door of the infirmary opened.
"..You are awake, Livia."
Standing beyond the opened door was a tall girl , her posture ramrod straight .
She stared at the figure that was approaching her.
"..Ah!"
Her intuition hasn't deceived her. The confusing memories and all the pain that had been tormenting her vanished like thin air and it was replaced with complicated jumbled up emotions then all of a sudden she felt calm.
"Are you alright ,Livia?"
Livia looked at the girl who was coming closer . Or rather it felt like her gaze was stolen. It was inevitable, because the girl was just so breathtakingly beautiful.
"Lady Feliste…"
Her hair as golden as honey as if kissed by the sun , her skin as white as snow in stark contrast with natural red seductive lips and her posture straight ,it was like she came out of a fairy-tail. She was waring the same uniform as her yet her was pristine without any wrinkles.
Livia didn't think she has seen anyone as beautiful as her. She was the main heroine or the og villainess of the novel Shadows over Vireholm "MADLINE FELISTE"
The moment those red eyes locked onto Livia.
"I am alright ,Lady Feliste.."
Instead of being happy for meeting her favorite heroine ,all she felt was despair.
Because at that moment she regained some of her fragmented lost memories as Livia Maren.
