Day two of school was a little less busy than the first day for Kai. But he still had to move up and around school more than most kids. The moment he finished with the principal he headed to math.
He wasn't so surprised to see Yi Fan already seating next to his usual seat but Ben being there made him annoyed. He was talking and going on about God knows what and Kai did not want to hear it. He closed the door with a bang, loud enough to scare the kids into sitting but not enough to break it.
"Yes guys! Let's settle down. Mr. Monroe's on his way."
Ben scowled and a few more students groaned but they started retreating to their seats and there was less noise.
True to Kai's words, Mr.Monroe strolled in as soon as he dropped his bag and sat down next to Yi Fan.

The day moved slowly classes, break, classes, one meeting, more classes and finally end of the day.
Kai was reviewing his Wednesday schedule when he heard a soft knock on the student council room door. From the clear glass he could see Yi Fan clearly, his curls still annoyingly perfect.
"Come in" he invited.
