Chapter 51 - CHAPTER 51 – Awakening Protocol

Airen stood under the moonlight, the cold night wind brushing against his face.

The city glittered beneath him, lights stretching across the horizon — completely unaware that its future rested in the hands of one man.

His eyes sharpened as he hovered over the E-rank dungeon selections.

It's time.

"System," Airen murmured. "Show me the E-rank templates."

The panel shifted instantly.

....

Airen raised an eyebrow.

"Wow… E-rank dungeons have a lot more variety than I expected. There are even more than these four…"

A new panel flickered.

[Which dungeon type will you select?]

Airen scanned everything again, then clicked his tongue.

"I'll just tell you how many to open. You pick the types yourself."

The system accepted.

Th next category:

---

[D-Rank Dungeon Options]

Airen narrowed his eyes.

"I think D-rank is too much for now."

[Agreed.]

"Let's stick with F-rank and E-rank."

[How many would you like to open?]

Airen crossed his arms.

"Open 100 F-rank dungeons and 10 E-rank dungeons."

[Calculating total cost…]

[Total: 1,500,000,000 points]

Airen frowned slightly.

"Where will these dungeons spawn? Can I choose the locations?"

[No. Dungeon gates will appear randomly around the world.]

"…What?"

[However, you may choose whether you want any dungeon to begin with a dungeon break.]

Airen nodded slowly.

That was enough control.

[Awaken Humans] — 1,000,000 points per person

Airen looked at the panel.

"What changes the moment a human awakens?"

The system replied instantly:

[Upon awakening, a human receives:]

A basic system interface showing level, stats, skills

One F-Rank Skill (Horizontal Slash or Vertical Slash)

A small inventory (1 kg limit)

An F-Rank armor set

One F-Rank sword

Airen raised an eyebrow.

"Will they get the same system as you?"

A small pause.

Then:

[No.]

[The systems they will receive are inferior fragments. I am not simply superior to them… I am the absolute system.]

The words echoed with cold pride.

Airen smirked.

That's a relief.

[Grant Skills] — Panel Opened

F-Rank — 5,000,000

E-Rank — 50,000,000

D-Rank — 500,000,000

C-Rank — 5,000,000,000

B-Rank — 50,000,000,000

A-Rank — 500,000,000,000

S-Rank — 5,000,000,000,000

.....

Airen tapped the F-Rank section.

New windows opened:

[Horizontal Slash — F]

Enhances horizontal slashing attacks.

[Vertical Slash — F]

Enhances vertical slashing attacks.

[Proper Running Form — F]

Enhances stamina and running efficiency.

[Cooking (F-Rank)]

Enables creation of temporary stat-buffing meals.

[Weapon Crafting — F]

Allows forging of basic F-rank weapons.

[Potion Maker — F]

Allows brewing of F-rank potions.

[Climber — F]

Improves climbing ability.

Airen sighed.

"There are so many useless ones…"

He glanced at the cost again.

"System, why do F-Rank skills cost five million, but awakening a person — which also gives a skill — costs only one million?"

[Think of it as my support for making Earth stronger.]

Airen grunted.

"Can people level up skills later and gain new skills?"

[Yes.]

He nodded.

"A good system then."

---

"Awwaken 1,000 people."

[Understood. What skill shall they receive?]

Airen's eyes turned cold.

"No skill. They will get one naturally when they awaken. That's enough."

[But that gives only an F-rank skill—]

Airen cut the system off.

"You told me to open dungeons — I did.

You told me to awaken people — I did.

Don't question me.

I'm doing what I believe is right"

Then, inwardly:

I didn't think this through at all…

I'm just doing whatever I want.

And honestly… it feels good to hold the world's fate in the palm of my hand.

He lifted his head, staring at the vast moonlit sky.

The city lights reflected in his eyes.

[If you have a plan, I will not interfere.]

Airen exhaled softly.

"Also awaken ten people with E-Rank skills."

He tapped the panel.
