Months passed by,
The sakura tree once fully covered with pink petals is now burried with white snow, much like some people's heart. But unusually that day the cold winter took a deep rest, sun began to visible, it melted snow, the warmth was of heavenly joy for people and it was also the day when Ha yeon's child Kim Taehyung,the 1st prince of Kim family born. People saw the young Red phoenix as a blessing and celebrated the young prince arrival unlike the abandoned cursed princess who was born with no mana (powers).
Sia's blood started to boil hearing this news, every whisper felt like a sharp needle against her skin,the child she already despised became the great misery of her life. She never looked at that child and now ," Take this useless thing outside", Sia told with an angry deep sound sitting on her bed.
The maid who was holding the young princess looked shock ," your highness". Sia looked at the maid sharply ,her eyes glowing red. The maid bowed to her and left outside the palace with the child, the child was crying probably she might also felt she was abandoned and cursed. The maid said with great sympathy,"poor thing,just because you have no mana they are calling you a curse but I think you are the most beautiful princess I have ever seen". Another maid came and told," Her highness is calling you". The maid asked reluctantly," what about the child?"
A calm and powerful voice said,"I told you to bring the child too". That voice belonged to Ha yeon,she was wearing a simple white dress, nothing extravagant but her strong aura was unexplainable. She came near to the crying princess and slowly took from maid's hand with a calm smile, suprisingly the child stopped crying and smiled back. She covered the baby with her sleeves and told to maid," Madam Mo Sae ,you can go back ,I will take care of the child". The maid said panicked," No your highness,it will be a burden for you". Hayeon replied with a smile," she is my dearest friend's child ,how can it be a burden, don't worry I will take care of the child". Mo Sae also smiled back," then I think I will trouble you a bit". Mo Sae left.
Hayeon turned and told to her maid," Please arrange a crib for princess , she looked at the princess who was holding her dress tightly , and make sure it is scented with sandalwood. The maid nodded.
Hayeon's mind voice," Sia, I know how much you resent me , I know the hate you can't express turned into despise , don't be displeased I will atone for my mistake by accepting your hate. And like we once wishes both of our child will grow together,never as enemies but as the protectors...."
The days becan months and months became years , within a blink of eyes 5 years passed yet the hostility of Sia towards her child never became less so does hayeon's love for her children....
Sia threw a glass towards 5 year old princess," why did such a useless beast born to me, look at him ,everyday the emperor teach him personally and you .... You are just a forgotten witch". The young princess looked down with empty face ,there was no tears no dear just exhaustion. Sia commanded," The princess need to be taught a lesson , go and lock her back". Mo Sae asked to Sia with pity," but empress...". But small fingers wrapped around her hands, not allowing her to continue to speak. Mo Sae looked at the princess she was smiling, a very painful smile ,like she has been holding the wait of the world and needed a place to rest. And that very place was that empty dark room,with no light just her. If anyother people entered they would feel suffocated but for her it was the best room of that large palace.
The room's door locked. She sat on the ground and looked at the door waiting for someone to open but a sound cut through her unconscious mind. She looked back and called out to the darkness with a voice that is not expected by a 5 year old," who is there, come out". Hearing those words two tiny hands came out from behind the piller and a little boy peeked his head out and greeted het with a beautiful smile," Hello young miss, I am kim namjoon". The princess raised her eyebrows and asked," why are you here?" The boy slowly came towards her and told innocently," I was playing with my hyung but I am trapped now". The princess didn't answer but sat like she used to . Namjoon came and sat beside her , this was not very pleasing to her, understanding that Joon sliddes a bit far.
Joon took something out of pocket and lended his hand to her," young miss, my mother told me if you are sad just eat sweet,here you go ,it heavenly blossom,it is very sweet".
" I don't want",princess refused without even looking at it. Joon's face dropped, princess saw this and changed her words suddenly," nevermind I will just eat it ". Joon happily gave it to her. The princess took a small bite and it made her eyes widened," it is really sweet", she said with a little smile but she suddenly bite her tongue and composed herself. But joon took a whole pouch tied to his belt and told," if you like them then take it all, I will buy you more". The princess eyes softened,like that in that dark room even without opening the door a wave of bright light came. Suddenly the world felt more sweet and colourful. The young princess said in a tiny cute voice," thank you,Namjoon". Namjoon said with bright smile that melted his eyes," you can call me Joon miss, and what should I call you". The princess replied," My name is Eunkyung but you can call me Eun-a ".
At that time, someone pushed the heavy door open and unsealing the dark chamber which made a heavy light came inside. It was Hayeon who opened the door. She looked inside with concern," Eun-a ". The 10 year old Eun-a looked at her and smiled brightly calling her ," Eomma". Behind her there was also Joon,as usual he peeked from behind her," greetings your highness".
"You again,why are you obsessed with my sister,Kim namjoon ", young Taehyung asked with intense jealousy. Joon turned to Eun-a and looked at her with puppy eyes. Eun-a reached up and pinched Tae's earlobe, giving it a playful twist,"Tae, he is your elder. Show some respect".Tae absolutely didn't love the idea but still sister's wish is his command," sorry". And three of them started to smile and hugged each other and there was Seokjin standing behind," aah me too , I am also with you", he also jumped and hugged them. Hayeon just smiled looking at child.
A maid standing with them whispered to another maid," what is happening". The other maid just laughed and said," don't worry you will get used to it ,how can you not get, this same scene is happening for about 5 years". The new maid looked astonished.
Tae said," Eun-a look this is a new sweet you will absolutely love it ".
Joon interrupted ,"but never better than my heavenly blossom".
Tae glared into joon's soul and started to chase him for good. While Joon just running to save his life ," Eun-a wait for me I will come right now". Tae replied to him while running," you won't be alive for that."
