Chapter 46 - Chapter 16.2 (18+)

The "Chaevila" café was located on the commercial street opposite the "Xin Zhi Mi" company building. Its tastefully decorated with a strong British flair. The owner, a returned overseas graduate student, had managed to cultivate a loyal clientele despite the café's small size and less-than-ideal location. It was an excellent spot for friendly chats and business negotiations alike.

It was afternoon, and the sunlight was pleasant. Being a weekday, the café had only a few customers. A handsome young man, Yao Liang, sat by the window, sipping a coffee. He gazed at the street view outside, occasionally checking his watch as if waiting for someone. The sunlight filtered softly through the glass into the café.

Before long, the café door was pushed open. In walked a stunning, mature beauty dressed in a tight-fitting office lady outfit. She strode in on her 10-centimeter brown high heels, her gorgeous legs sheathed in black silk stockings.

This beautiful woman wore a white lace-collared blouse on top and a dark, tight, knee-length pencil skirt below. The intellectual OL outfit was incredibly sexy and alluring. Her ample, full breasts strained against the white blouse, making it swell tautly. The slightly sheer fabric faintly revealed the lace pattern of her bra underneath, a teasing and captivating sight. Below her slender waist was a perfectly round, voluptuous peach-like bottom, tightly wrapped by the skirt. The hem stopped at her knees, revealing a pair of long, beautiful legs clad in tantalizing black stockings that encased her smooth, fair, and shapely calves. Her shapely calves created a breathtaking, stunning temptation, paired with the 10-centimeter brown high heels. Her gait was swaying and graceful. Every step she took into the café seemed designed to capture every man's gaze, a true test of their willpower.

This beauty was my mother, Gu Wanxin. Her daily work attire radiated a powerful, mature charm and allure. She was, of course, acutely aware of the lethal impact of her looks and figure and had long grown accustomed to it. The hungry, wolf-like stares from men didn't faze her in the slightest. Like a queen making her entrance, she walks into the café with an imposing presence, her high heels making a "click-clack" sound on the floor, and sits directly across from Yao Liang.

"The usual, thank you," Mom said politely to the approaching staff member. The staff member was the owner himself, a handsome middle-aged man with stylish, trendy brown hair. He knew she was the boss of "Xin Zhi Mi" and a regular here. Every time she visited, he would personally attend to her. Although she always ordered an Americano without sugar or milk, he would always come to confirm it personally, as a sign of respect.

"Auntie Gu, I'm really sorry to trouble you with this meeting during your busy schedule." Yao Liang said confidently to the gorgeously beautiful woman before him. Being experienced in romance, he shows no awkwardness even with the goddess he has secretly admired for years.

"Xiao Liang, you should know I don't usually agree to meet with people so easily. You'd better not disappoint me with this 'important matter' you mentioned." Mom gave Yao Liang a glance and said coolly.

"I won't, I won't," Yao Liang said with a smile, then took an iPad from his backpack and opened an application.

Mom's coffee was also brought over, delivered to her table personally by the owner, who gave a polite bow. Mom nodded in acknowledgment.

As the owner bowed in front of Mom, he was at a perfect vantage point to look down at her. A familiar, intoxicatingly mature feminine scent, like orchids and musk, wafted from her. Through the gap of her unbuttoned white blouse, he could see her large, full, snow-white breasts straining against the lace bra, pushed up to a point where they seemed ready to burst from the fabric. The two plump, pale mounds created a deep cleavage, and he could even vaguely see the edge of a pink areola spilling over the bra's lace.

Every time Mom came for coffee, the owner would use this opportunity to secretly feast his eyes on the spring scenery of her chest. This was the real reason he always served her personally. Behind his refined, elegant, and handsome appearance liesd a sordid, lecherous heart.

Yao Liang opened the program on his iPad and confidently handed it to Mom.

Mom took a sip of her coffee, accepted the iPad, and began to look at it.

"Auntie Gu, it's fortunate I discovered this early. That Jiang Weixin, I'm afraid he doesn't have good intentions," Yao Liang said. "I used my father's company's data access channels to get the underlying data on that guy. His company's performance has been declining for years, and now they have massive external debt. They're probably on their last legs to begin with. The merger with your company is just a ploy to save themselves!"

"When did you start looking into this?" Mom raised her beautiful eyes to glance at him, then expressionlessly continued to scroll through the data on the iPad.

"I've always been concerned about you, Auntie Gu. I heard rumors in business circles about a potential partnership for your company, and my intuition told me something was off, so I decided to look into it. I didn't expect to actually find something," Yao Liang said with a handsome smile.

Seeing that Mom remained silent, Yao Liang continued, "It seems he's recently initiated the merger proceedings with your clothing company and has even announced it on external networks. But privately, he's transferring some assets and engaging in capital arbitrage. After the companies merge, the agreement will allow him to drain all your assets, and then he'll just walk away. There would be no legal recourse against him."

Mom's gaze left the screen, and she handed the iPad back to Yao Liang. Her charming, large eyes gave him a slightly flirtatious once-over. "These are our business matters. They don't really concern you," she said.

"I know, but your business is my business, Auntie Gu. I can't just stand by and watch you get taken advantage of. But then again, with your intelligence, I'm sure you've already noticed some of these signs yourself," Yao Liang said, his eyes fixed intently on Mom's large eyes.

Mother gave a noncommittal smile and took a small sip of her coffee. "Thank you for your concern, Xiao Liang, but this data can't be used as evidence. It's just speculation. It has no legal standing."

Yao Liang smiled with a hint of embarrassment. "Well... that's true, but I can't get anything more. Besides... unless he makes a mistake, we'd need to get their company's database files to obtain conclusive evidence. Theoretically, that's nearly impossible, right?"

"That's not necessarily so..." Mom looked out the window at the bustling street scene. The afternoon sun was bright, and the crowds of men and women passing by, set against the magnificent architecture, created a unique and charming view from this angle.

Yao Liang stared at the breathtakingly beautiful woman before him. Her charming and radiant face, her full, red lips, her watery, captivating eyes gazing dreamily out the window. Her plump skin was as fair and smooth as fine jade and porcelain. Her full, ample breasts pushed the white blouse into a towering, swelling arc that stood proudly before her. Her mature charm and elegant aura left Yao Liang momentarily stunned.

"Auntie Gu, you already knew about this, and you've already made preparations, haven't you?" Yao Liang said thoughtfully, seeing how calm Mom was, completely unmoved by the information.

Mom just gave a charming laugh and didn't answer. After a moment, Yao Liang took a deep breath, stared intently at her, and said, "Auntie Gu, the truth is... I know what my father did to Xiao Bin's family... your husband's family... a few years ago..."

Mom's beautiful eyes flickered for a moment. She turned her head, her lovely face still without any ripple of emotion, and asked with interest, "Oh? Your father, Yao Shuanglei? Then why don't you tell me, what exactly did he do?"

Yao Liang paused, then said, "My father... it seems that to defeat the Zhou Group in a business war, he used some speculative, opportunistic tactics and formed factions... I was too young then and didn't know anything. Thinking back on it now, I can understand a lot."

Seeing Mom's beautiful eyes fixed on him, he took a breath and continued, "I also heard that he colluded with some powerful officials and used many underhanded methods. In short, he did many things that were detrimental to the Zhou family."

Mom toyed with the handle of her coffee cup and said coolly, "So what are you saying? That all the setbacks our family faced in business back then were your father's doing?"

"Well..."

"You're just a high school student. How could you possibly understand the intricacies of these matters?" Mom raised her beautiful eyebrows, asking with an air of leisurely curiosity.

"Don't just see me as a student. I'm often at my father's company. He started training me in business matters a long time ago, so I know a lot of the details. The more I learned, the more I felt that something was off about what happened a few years ago."

"Heh." Mom smiled slightly. "Well, what's done is done, your family's business is growing ever larger, and now you come to Auntie Gu to bring up this old history? What for?"

"Even so, I always feel that what he did was a debt owed to the Zhou family. I feel guilty, and I wouldn't feel right if I didn't tell you, Auntie Gu. The reason I've been so concerned about you and investigated Jiang Weixin is also because of this," Yao Liang said with deep emotion.

Mom looked into Yao Liang's handsome, deep-set eyes and laughed. "I didn't expect that at your young age, you speak like a man in his thirties. I think you're just saying nice things to please Auntie Gu."

Yao Liang wasn't flustered. He gave a hearty laugh and said, "Well then, Auntie Gu, when I find more solid proof and show it to you, you'll understand my true intentions."

Yao Liang continued, "Besides, my father's health hasn't been good for the past few years. He's been chronically ill, so he's left more and more of the business to me and my sister. I've been thinking that if I'm really going to take over, I have to make amends for what was done to the Zhou family."

Mom was slightly taken aback. She gave Yao Liang a meaningful look, said nothing, and turned her head to look out the window, lost in thought.

When she didn't respond, he paused and then said, "By the way, Auntie Gu, that restaurant I mentioned to you last time... when are you free..."

"So, after helping Auntie Gu with a little information, you're here to claim your reward? And you still say you're not deliberately trying to get on my good side?" Mom turned her head, gave Yao Liang a playful roll of her eyes, and said teasingly.

"Not at all! You didn't refuse last time, Auntie Gu. The Italian food at that restaurant is really authentic and worth trying. Besides, winning your favor would be my greatest honor!"
