"I followed in your footsteps, aren't you proud of me". With a smile as creepy as a Halloween doll, Xavier asked.
"Are you crazy, or what!!, you aren't supposed to add those three,
"I didn't just add those three,I also added the unknown!". He interrupted Xander.
"The unknown?!". Xander was shocked and couldn't even move.
"Yes brother!,Yes!". Xavier nodded affirmatively.
"But that hasn't even been completely tested, it's very harmful".
Xavier immediately retorted
"But that's exactly what you did six years ago!, are you belittling me, thinking I'm not strong enough to handle it!!". With immerse anger, Xavier shouted.
"That's not it, you fool!, it has to deal with a...
"A demon, I know, and I've already gotten a contract with a really powerful demon lord ". He took the words right out of Xander's mouth, and started laughing like a mad person.
"What!, why the shocked face?, did you really think I won't catch up with you!". He continued taking a step closer towards Xander.
"You thought I'd always be in your shadow, didn't ya!, but now I'm the shadow that's going to swallow you whole!!".
For those of you, who are totally confused, it's time to take a trip down the memory lane of this young and handsome soul,
Xander Cain.

"Big bro, big bro, come see!". A little girl of not more than thirteen, dragged a little boy along with her and started running, he looked at least two years older than her.
She was dressed in a simple gown, while he wore an elegant and luxurious suit.
"Linda, stop running, you might trip". He cautioned her.
"Running is the fastest way of getting there". She refused to listen.
"You might fall".
She stopped and turned towards him,
"If I can walk backwards without tripping, then I can run without tripping ". She stared at him and started walking backwards.
"Ta-da!!". She smiled sweetly.
He just shook his head.
"You silly child".
"Hey!, I said you should stop calling me a chilllddd!!!". She screamed the last part as she fell, tripping on a stone.
Luckily, a large pile of grass stopped her fall.
"You're so lucky the gardeners aren't done working, or else you'ld have hurt yourself badly ". He hurriedly walked towards her
"That's why it's always a good idea to listen to me". He proudly added.
"I'm sorry ". She said with teary eyes.
"It's okay, don't cry, why, don't I take you to your room?". He suggested and she nodded.
"Please, my back hurts ". He nodded and crouched beside her, ready to carry her away.
"Xander, I'll like to have a word with you". A voice was heard behind him.
They both turned towards the direction of the voice and saw Xavier, Xander's younger brother.
"Can't it wait, I was just about...
Cutting him shut, Xavier replied coldly staring at Linda
"No it can't wait".
Linda quickly averted his glare.
"I'll be fine, I can get to my room, so don't worry".
"What about the thing, you wanted to show me?". Xander asked.
"That can also wait". She sat on the grass and continued
"Besides, it's a flower, I can always show you another time and this way it'll get more beautiful!". She ended with a beautiful smile as her brown eyes sparkled endlessly.
"Fine then!, if you say so". He stood up.
"Let's go". Xavier turned around, but after glaring at Linda one last time.
"Sure, lead the way". Xander followed his brother under a tree close by.
"So what'd want to say, brother". Xander asked with a smile after Xavier refused to speak for around five minutes.
"Where are we currently, 'brother'?". Xavier asked.
"Well that's easy, we're at the orphanage home built by mom and dad!". Xander answered.
"Wrong!, it wasn't built by mom and dad but by our ancestors, the...
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I just skipped all those boring parts". He stretched a little.
"Well, you shouldn't!!, life isn't just about fun, you have to go through with those boring parts as well!". Xavier scolded.
"Geez, stop acting like my mother!".
"I'm not acting like your mother!, we both have the same mother !". He facepalmed.
I just stared at him speechless
*What has gotten into him*. I wondered.
Xander's POV
"You're supposed to be the senior brother here, so act like one!, anyway other than serving the purpose of an orphanage, this is also....
"A research facility, and across it, is our super large museum, if you take the road left and head for another 30 to 35 minutes, you'll arrive at our enormous mansion". I replied leaning against the tree.
"That's good, at least you know a few, 'sighs', so being the son of such a rich aristocratic family, what are you meant to do in such a research facility??".
"I don't know, o great and wise Xavier, please enlighten me". I bowed down like a student bowing to their teacher and we both laughed.
"You're meant to actually..... learn a thing or two, rather than hanging out with a peasant!".
"No,no, no, don't do that ". I frowned.
"What!, you don't want me to call your little friend a peasant?". His expression was filled with disgust.
"No!,Come on brother, who uses the word peasant anymore, .... This is the 21th century for crying out loud, that's so outdated".
"Yeah that's so true, thanks bro!". We did a handshake.
"Yep, it doesn't sound like 'a this century' word". Xavier said while I placed a hand on my chin.
"Then what about filth!?".
"That sounds way more better". I nodded.
"Wait!!, No!, don't call Linda 'filth". I retorted quickly.
"But what else is she??, she's nothing but a filthy street urchin!!". He answered his own question.
"Ooh, i see what you did there, nice one bro, you didn't use any last generation word like lowlife". We did another handshake.
"Yep, I tried a lot". He replied and we nodded.
"Anyway back to what we were saying,... Why do you hate Linda so much??". I asked.
"Cause I don't get it ". I continued
"You really want to know why I hate her so badly ". Xavier asked coldly.
"Yes, cause she's just an innocent orp...
"An orphan!!, exactly!, she's just a worthless creature, I don't see what's so special about her that you're always so close to her ". He screamed.
"She's really nice if you get to know her, and I even see her as a little sister and she sees me as her big brother and yo.. .
"That's the problem, she's just an orphan in OUR establishment". Xavier interrupted me.
"This is an orphanage home, for o..
"Why are you so daft!, you really don't get the whole meaning round this orphanage home ".
"I don't okay, I don't know, just tell me why you called me out here " .
I was starting to get pissed.
*How dare he insult Linda, I've never insulted any of those his friends*.
"This is an advice, if I were you I would stay far away from 'those orphans' especially Linda". He said in what seemed like a serious tone and walked away.
"What was that all about??". I wondered as I walked back towards where I left Linda.
But from afar, I saw a silhouette of Linda walking into the research facility.
"What's she doing there?, did she forget the way to her room?, or am I just hallucinating?". I wondered, and checked around the playground but didn't see her.
Instead of following the shadow, I went to her room in the orphanage home.
A year ago, when I was just 12, an orphanage was built behind my family's research facility.
I came from the Cain's dynasty, a very rich and influential aristocratic family. We had the largest tech empire in the whole of Glazir. I didn't know why, but I was simply asored and worshipped by my parents and family members after a particular 'scene' when I was five.
Anyway, a research facility wasn't really my cup of coffee, but after the orphanage was built I started to visit the place more often.
Being born wealthy, made me think it was the same for everyone, but after seeing the condition of some kids in the orphanage I couldn't have been more wrong.
After that, I made it a mission of mine, to alway visit the orphanage.
Subsequently,I met Linda, after chatting and getting to know each other, we became really good friends.
And I always stopped by the CRF ( Cain's research facility) to visit her.
Later, I became a brother figure to her, while she was my little sister.
