Victoria had left Laven enterprise that day with a jittery feet. The world was in chaos around her, but her world was falling apart and crumbling. She trekked half the way till she could no longer move them, then she stopped a taxi to continue her journey. Her eyes were blurred from tears that refused to fall till she got home.
She was devastated to the point she started questioning herself and Black with a third party point of view.
Her phone was in a frenzied state of ringing and sms but she ignored it. BlackPool and various others were trying to reach her but it was all futile.
She had not informed BlackPool about the details of the meeting with the CEO or William Junior. And others were calling her because she was the face BlackPool used to announce their support.
BlackPool was hit unexpectedly when they fell for the bait set for them. It was an easy and simplest trap, and they fell for it. They were used to bigger security threats, breach attempts and mega phishing attacks that they have built high end techs to combat such. So no one would have thought something as simple as a SOS message would lead to them losing $500 million dollars in hours. Especially when their agreement with Laven was secretive and anonymous.
So who else could have known about their partnership enough to send a SOS asking for support.
In all of this, BlackPool could only wonder and ask who it was that pulled the stunt. And the only person who could answer them was Victoria and Laven CEO.
Immediately after the dip of Laven stock to negative ten percent, Laven CEO had quietly left his office and disappeared out of thin air. He was never found or heard of since then.
Could BlackPool track him down, Yes.
But right now they have bigger problems at hand.
They had just lost $500 million dollars, which did not even move their skin. Yes, they were that rich.
BlackPool total networth combined was estimated to be about $843 trillion dollar. And they were in cash, kinds, bonds, stocks, investment, human resources and infrastructures.
They could go Millions for Millions with any country, individuals or conglomerates and win hands down.
But their biggest nightmare is Echo, which belonged to a brilliant financial analyst, now transferred to his prodigy.
After Arthur declared his resignation, BlackPool was surprised he was not bothered by their threats that he would have to forgo his shares.
Perplexed, they started digging and found out about Echo.
They know if the device gets outside or stay with Arthur with the alleged conspiracy against BlackPool, it would ruin them. That is why there have been massive crackdown on him and anyone in possession.
They have had a taste of Echo in action against Laven enterprise with which they had been victims too. And all they had suspected it was done by Echo. So the crackdowns intensified, but they have to get to Victoria first.
Victoria had not responded to any mails, calls or messages sent to her since that day. There was even no recorded transaction on her accounts.
BlackPool was more disappointed than livid with her reaction. They were left in the dark about the happenings at the moment. They don't know if she got the document, they don't know if she got hold of William Junior, they don't know about her situation.
Meanwhile, Victoria did not step out of her house. It had been two weeks since the event, yet she barely ate.
