Chapter 62
Kisame Hoshigaki stood outside the abandoned castle as he waited for the confrontation between the two brothers to end. Kisame had long foregone any and all loyalties and sympathies, but he and the Uchiha brat had been paired up for years, and in all that time, not once had he ever failed him.
It was a strange alliance, and they were both meant to be notorious and selfish criminals, whose ideals were entirely opposed to one another. Kisame was a shinobi who believed in the truth. He hated liars, and in all his life, he had not met a greater liar than Itachi Uchiha, and now, as their two philosophies clashed in the castle behind him, the victor emerged as Sasuke Uchiha, carrying a sealed and covered-up body in his arms, as blood-soaked tears dripped down his face.
And he felt no sadness at the death of his old comrade, as Sasuke Uchiha walked forward without sparing him a glance, before stopping.
"Kisame-san," he called out, and Kisame raised a brow.
"What?"
"Do you know where the masked nin who calls himself Madara may be?" and the question made him grin.
"Yeah, I believe I do," and with that, the boy looked back at him, and those eyes were no longer the three tomoe sharingan. They had evolved beyond that. They had evolved beyond even Itachi's Mangekyo Sharingan.
"Where?"

ANKO MITARASHI
The village was in chaos. They had expected retaliation from the Akatsuki and had prepared accordingly for it, but none of them had expected the Akatsuki to utilise one of their own Kages to attack them.
There was a reason why the Yondaimae Hokage was feared throughout the lands, and the reason was now obvious enough to them all as well. Hours. Not days, but hours.
That was all it had taken for the man to dismantle nearly a hundred of their most elite shinobi, but now, finally, the threat had been dismantled, and they could regroup once more.
The Hospital was overflowing, and Anko was busy searching for her friend when she found herself facing a rather unlikely face.
"Who are you?" and she was on his way to the Hokage Office when she was interrupted by a rather young boy with a very serious face.
"I am Shikamaru Nara," and he did have a Nara's face.
"Hikari Hyuga's teammate," and that piqued her interest, and Hikari and she shared more than one connection. Hikari was one of Uzuki's students, but more than that, he had been a victim of the same curse as her.
During the attack two years ago, Orochimaru had put on him the very seal he had used on her. And Anko knew better than most what that entailed, and so upon Yugao's request, she had given him all the research she had done on the cursed thing, and much to her surprise, the boy had managed to do the impossible.
He had been able to render the seal useless, and then modify it for his own use. It was a great step for him, though it was a shame that he couldn't quite replicate the process for her until she had learned some senjutsu, and that was easier said than done.
"Oh, and why have you stopped me?" she asked, and the boy threw a scroll towards her.
"I need your help to search for your former teacher," and that made her raise a brow.
"You are looking for that Snake?" and he nodded.
"Lord Orochimaru has now allied himself with the Akatsuki. He is the one who revived the late Yondaime Hokage and then had him attack the village," and that was news to her.
"But that isn't all is it?" for if that was everything, then there was no need to go after him. They had supposedly neutralised the Fourth Hokage, and so there had to be a different reason why they were targeting her former teacher.
"Lord Fourth was not the only Hokage he brought back. We believe he brought back the rest of the Hokage as well," and that was troubling. Very troubling.
"We have a plan in place to deal with them, but even with that plan the chance of success is but at fifty percent because of Hashirama-sama," and to think that the Shodaime-sama had been revived and that they just might have to face him.
It was alarming.
"What I have told you is an S-ranked secret. I have narrowed down his location to a general area, but if I am to find his exact location, then I will be needing your help," and she subconsciously touched the curse mark on her neck.
"Who else will be joining us on the mission?" Suddenly, a girl landed beside him, and she had seen her before. She wore a thick coat with a white furry hood and had a weapon strapped to her back.
"I am ready, Shikamaru-kun," and she was the Hyuga Princess. The one who had been overseeing the wedding preparations for the engagement between Hikari and that Yamanaka girl.
"You are Hikari's family," she guessed, and the girl nodded.
"I am Hinata. Hikari-kun is my cousin," and it seemed to her that the kid's family was full of monsters.
"I would love to go, but I am searching for my f..."
"Uzuki Yuga is safe. She was part of the ANBU that faced the Yondaime-sama. She has sustained injuries, but is expected to make a full recovery," the Nara kid answered quickly with some frustration.
"I am afraid I do not have any time to waste. I need your answer now, Anko-san," and if he was asking her in his father's stead, then it was obvious that this was not a sanctioned mission.
This was him working independently. She could deny him and save herself a lot of headaches, but she owed that golden-eyed bastard quite a debt. He had ruined her life, and she had been unable to stop him from harming her kouhai.
Now, he had allied himself with their worst enemies. He was a traitor through and through and as his former student, it was her duty to bring him down.
So, she only had one answer.
"Sure, count me in...."

KILLER BEE
Of all the enemies Bee had expected to face, he had not thought that he would be facing a legend like the Second Hokage. Tobirama Senju was the younger brother of Hashirama Senju and had helped him build Konoha.
The man was a legendary shinobi, and even the Sandaime Raikage had doubted that he would be able to win against the man, and the reason was obvious enough, as Bee found himself struggling to push him down.
"You are strong," the white-haired shinobi praised him, as they faced each other on the outskirts of the main village. Bee had managed to push the man to the outskirts to protect the village, but in doing so, he had put himself at a great disadvantage.
"But bringing me here was a mistake," the white-haired shinobi berated him, as he brought together his hands, and immediately the water beneath him shifted, and massive columns rose and transformed into dragons in the blink of an eye, as they rushed toward him while he jumped to avoid them, while making use of his red-tailed beast form.
"Have you forgotten just who I am?" and the First Hokage was famous throughout the lands for his Mokuton. The Second Hokage did not possess a Kekkie Genkai, yet he was no less powerful.
He was said to have mastered Suition to such a level that he was said to be invincible near a water body, and Bee could see that now.
"Shit! Bringing him to this lake was a mistake. He was troublesome enough on his own, but with this lake, he is damn near invincible." Hachibi was right, as one of the dragons attacked him from behind, and he used one of the tails to block the attack.
"AGHH!" but he was sent flying into the lake, and already a massive monster rose out of the water's surface with jaws ready to bite into him, as Bee spun in the air and called onto Hachibi.
"Hachibi!"
"Yeah!"
And they began to gather chakra into their mouth, and the purple orb formed, and Bee bit onto it, and let the chakra compress before he opened his mouth and let it out as a massive ray onto the water monster.
"Tailed Beast Bomb!"
BOOOOOOM!
And with that eh water construct was destroyed, as he landed back on the water.
"Be careful. As long as we are touching water, we are susceptible to an att..." but then Hachibi stopped, and Bee himself frowned as he sensed a foreign chakra enter the field, and this chakra was unlike any he had ever sensed before.
It was oppressive, and calming at the same time.
"It couldn't be," he heard Hachibi add, making him from.
"Yo! You recognise this," he asked, and the Hachibi took a second to answer.
"I am not certain, but it feels a lot like his brother! Hashirama's chakra," and he was having trouble enough fighting one Hokage, and wondered just how he would face two of them.
"This could get ugly," Bee wondered, yet much to his surprise, he felt the Nidaime Hokage vanish, as he emerged some way back as the smoke cleared to reveal the newcomer's face.
"You managed to dodge that," the newcomer added, as he turned towards the white-haired Kage, and if he was attacking the Hokage, then he was an ally.
He had long black hair, and a white kimono of sorts that revealed his chest, which had quite a few markings decorating it. His eyes were pale and pupil-less like the infamous Byakugan of the Hyuga clan.
"That face," Bee whispered, as he eased up slightly, and he had seen that face in a bingo book, and doubted that there was a shinobi alive who had not.
"Hikari Hyuga!" and the young Konoha ninja turned his head towards him, and there was a literal horn coming out of his forehead, and there were green markings around his eyes.
"You must be Killer Bee, the jinchuriki of the Hachibi," and Bee nodded.
"Don't worry. I have come here in peace. I am only here to help you deal with the revived Second Hokage," and if it were any other time, having a Konoha nin inside their borders would have been cause for war, but these were not usual times.
"That chakra! It is just like Big Brother," Tobirama Senju called out from the side, as the boy nodded.
"Are you a Sage?"
"That must be why he feels so similar to Hashirama Senju!" Hachibi added from inside, and Bee was taken aback by those words.
"Yes, and I can remove the seal controlling you, but for that, I will need to defeat you," and the white-haired shinobi nodded.
"Good, but as long as we stand on this lake, you won't be able to defeat me. Your senjutsu makes you strong, but in the presence of a water body, no shinobi can be my equal," and the young Hyuga boy nodded, as he glanced down at the water.
"Is that so?" and then he crouched down, and placed his palm on the water surface, and glanced towards him.
"Jump," he ordered, and Bee was compelled by the seriousness of that order before he felt him gather a massive amount of chakra as large wings made out of green fire burst out of his back, as the water began to boil over.
"Senpo:...." and then in the blink of an eye, the water was gone.
All of it.
"Oi! Oi! What is this?" Hachibi was surprised, and now only a carter remained where the lake had previously been as the Hyuga boy stood up once more and turned towards the white-haired shinobi.
"So, you are a mortal now...."
