Levi took a step back, pacing the room nervously as Jace kept on studying the blueprints.
"We need someone else."
As soon as those words left his lips and entered Jace's ears, he whipped around instantly.
He stepped forward shortening the distance between them, and raised a furious finger at Levi.
"No Kane, the only reason why I'm helping you do this is so you won't get caught and squeal that I was the one who told you in the first place.
They are a lot worse things than vampires and I personally think that this division is one of them, so absolutely not— we're not involving anyone else in this shit."
He stood in Levi's face for a second, letting his warning marinate before turning back to the blueprints.
'I'm gonna have to convince him to let Claire join somehow.'
Levi sighed, folding his arms around his chest.
