At the training camp he had arrived at a few weeks later, Ringo was sweating profusely and breathing heavily.

As Ringo adjusted himself and tried to stand up again, Ames' force field acted once more, throwing him to the ground and causing him to gasp for air, he could barely breathe, but Ames simply smiled, looking at him with clear interest.
She didn't seem to tire of it in the slightest.
Ringo used a great amount of Evolutionary Energy to heal himself and get up, while claws sprouted from his fingers and his legs adjusted for elasticity, he charged at her again, only to be thrown forcefully against the wall.
If it weren't for the fact that this room had been reinforced by Ames' force field, he would have already blown a hole with the level of force she used, each movement could have brought a Grade A super to a near-death state.
Without evolutionary energy, Ringo would have lost a long time ago.
Ames seemed to see his evolution in real time, which is why each attack was slightly stronger than the last.

But Jenny knew that nothing would change Ames's mind, so she could only sigh and hope for the best.
