While Price focused on his new task and Ringo focused on improving himself, making great strides, on the other side, a problem arose with Black Spider.
The trip had already lasted several days, with Korak and Vanessa slowly adjusting to the Triple Six.
Korak took to Slugcat almost immediately, the creature didn't talk much and was very soft to squeeze. The broken-minded crow seemed to discover the emotional relief provided by cats.
Korak also carried many good things in his storage bag, feeding Slugcat all sorts of things, so she was quickly bought.
Rick continued to unsuccessfully try to flirt with Vanessa. The woman completely ignored Rick's advances. At first, she tried to act calmly, trying to get along with this "enthusiastic companion", but she soon realized that if you gave him an inch, Rick would take a mile, so she learned from Trax.
When Rick leaned close to her ear and whispered something that would disturb even the most open-minded of Godorians, the hybrid was immediately thrown away with a punch. Vanessa even stomped on the man a few times before walking away with a face full of disgust and contempt.
Luckily she restrained herself, or the Grade C pugilist would have turned into a meat pancake that the Godorians would have had to clean up. Ironically, the Godorians almost clapped with joy watching the action, not because Rick was a "dirty" hybrid, which was part of the reason, but because Rick was genuinely annoying when he wanted to be.
In the short time he was there, he had hit on several female employees, stolen drinks, and even vomited in an officer's office. If it weren't for Black Spider, Rick would have already been asked to leave, the type of exit that opens the hatch and lets you roam freely through the vacuum of space.
When even the janitor looks at him angrily, you can tell just how much Rick has irritated those guys.
Black Spider knew Rick could be annoying, but he was going beyond the norm, he was clearly doing it on purpose, just to disgust these "purebreds". Knowing of the feud between the Godorians, he just pretended not to see it. As long as Rick didn't go too far, Black Spider would simply ignore it.
Trax, who was nearby when Rick was beaten up by Vanessa, burst into laughter, laughing so hard he almost choked. After that, Trax and Vanessa grew closer. Vanessa also needed constant training to improve herself through blood essence, and the best form of training was fighting. With Trax as her partner, the pair soon found themselves enjoying "speaking with their fists."
This made Rick very sad for a while, but Black Spider just patted him on the shoulder and walked away, he didn't even want to know what Rick had said to her, otherwise he was afraid he'd want to beat him up too.
If Ringo were the leader of Godora, he felt he would probably add chemical castration as a job requirement, those guys were second to few galactic races in terms of hedonism.
In any case, while the Triple Six continued to get to know each other, an unexpected event occurred, an alarm sounded throughout the main Godorian ship. Black Spider, who was practicing in his room, frowned. He had predicted the future several days in advance, but he hadn't seen anything about it!
As soon as Ringo's clone used his vision of the future, he saw the reason for the event, leaving him curious and confused.
Several Dark Star ships appeared, surrounding and attacking the Godorian ships.
This surprised Ringo for only a moment before he understood, the problem was with the spaceships!
Dark Star managed to hide from Godora, a magical civilization, for countless years, how? Clearly, their spaceships not only have cutting-edge stealth technology, but also had strong anti-divination properties!
The only reason Ringo saw the Dark Star ships when the Godorian fleet asked for help, or now, is because when Dark Star enter combat, this concealment is lost, so it probably only works when the spaceships are in stealth mode.
Ringo hadn't thought of that, which made him sigh, but it also made it even clearer that divination isn't all-powerful, although he believes that when he advances to the BGA he'll probably be able to overcome this concealment.
He stood up, ready for combat, he knew that the Dark Star spaceships were probably coming after the black orb containing the Mutation Source.
Unfortunately, his bow was still damaged, he knew that if he brought it from Ringo's side, it had a high chance of breaking beyond repair, so he didn't want to do it, but in his vision of the future, he saw that there was a Grade A on the Dark Star ship, and this time it was Degulish! A pugilist, vice-leader of the Dark Star, he wasn't a standard Grade A, but one who was at the top of that rank, he was at least a Grade A+.
Dealing with him wouldn't be easy, and even if Ringo's main body came, he would still have difficulty winning the fight quickly, at the very least not without using Umbra Alba and his most powerful abilities.
Without his bow, he would have to use the powers of his main body as the Demonic Flames, Degeneration and Nightmare Blade, but he still wanted to separate the two identities and hide some tricks up your sleeve, so he hesitated.
Finally, he shook his head and sighed. The next moment, the clone inside Black Spider went to Ringo's side, who already had his bow ready, and picked it up before returning.
The bow was soon back in Black Spider's hands. Touching the warm, molten stone texture, he saw the cracks and frowned, but the decision was made. With a final sigh, he left the room with the bow in his hands. If the weapon broke, so be it, he would simply ask Bradd to forge another bow for him.
