The cell!

"Rear Admiral, think of a solution quickly! Are we really going to be laborers forever? Although no brothers have died these past few days, several are already severely injured. If this continues, who knows how many brothers will die. And once the work is finished, we'll definitely be executed by the pirates." The Rear Admiral, his face weary and disheveled, looked in despair at the patrolling guards outside the cell: "We can't escape. No Transponder Snail, no Marine ship, no way out."

"Are we just waiting to die?" The Marines knelt on the ground, despairing. "Sigh~~~" Despair and fear tormented these Marines at every moment.

"I wonder where that rookie recruit went." The Marines had long noticed that Law was not imprisoned with them.

"Probably perished at sea. Who cares about a rookie now?"

"Damn it! Every time we bring a rookie recruit, there's trouble. Rookie recruits are simply bad luck!" The Rear Admiral, with nowhere to vent his frustration, blamed everything on Law. He would never admit that his own mistake had caused all this.

Clap, clap, clap!

Footsteps echoed outside the cell. The hallway lights flickered on. The dazzling light made the Marines in the cell squint their eyes. A dark figure appeared outside the cell.

"Are they going to execute us?" The Marines were terrified.

"Open it."

"A man?" The Marines looked up in shock. They all knew Amazon Lily was a country of women; how could there be a man? And the voice seemed very familiar.

"It's you? Rookie?" The Marines stared in shock at Law, who was surrounded by Amazonian warriors. It was him? No one had expected it. "What's going on?" The Marines stared blankly at Law. Why was he surrounded by pirates? Why was he free? Why?

"Get ready. Tomorrow morning, come with me to leave." Law dropped a sentence and left directly. He had no regard for these Marines; they were too useless. They were captured without even putting up a fight. Useless things, including that Rear Admiral. If it weren't for the fact that he was going back alone and didn't want to explain too much, Law wouldn't bother taking them with him.

"Leave?" The Marines stared blankly at Law as he departed. "What's going on?" They were completely bewildered.

"Can we leave here? Can we go back?" Although confused, it didn't prevent the Marines from breaking into ecstatic smiles. No one wanted to die, no one wanted to be a slave.

"What exactly happened? Will the Kuja Pirates really let us go?" The Rear Admiral was completely puzzled. What Marine captured by pirates ever came to a good end? Were they not afraid that if they went back, they would lead a large force to besiege them? The Marines' confusion was finally cleared up by the conversations of the guards outside. The warriors' discussions finally made the Marines understand what had happened.

"A single recruit infiltrated the Kuja Pirate Empress's palace, actually defeated the strong individuals of the Kuja Pirates, and then negotiated with the Kuja Pirate Captain? How is that possible? Can a rookie do that?"

"How did he escape and accomplish all this? How could he make the Kuja Pirates submit?"

"We were saved by a rookie? A rookie accomplished something incredible?"

The Marines were stunned. Could such a success be achieved by a rookie? In the Marines' minds, only an Admiral would have such power, right?

"An unbelievable rookie." Law left a deep impression on these Marines. The next day, when the Marines boarded the ship to leave, they finally confirmed that all of this was true. The old veterans' eyes towards Law had long changed; there was no longer the arrogance of old age, but respect. Even the Rear Admiral looked at Law with deference. Law was their savior.

"Hancock, thank you. So, I bid you farewell." Standing at the bow of the ship, Law said goodbye to Hancock on the shore.

"Call me Hancock." The Pirate Empress, clutching her flushed cheeks, her imagination having flown to who-knows-where, having thought of who-knows-how-far: "Mm, goodbye."

"Elder Sister, they've already gone far away." The departing ship was already on the horizon. Hancock's expression was somewhat dim. The next moment, she transformed into a raging lion, directly grabbing Elder Nyon's neck and shaking her fiercely: "Old hag, what right do you have to decide that men cannot stay here? What right?"

"Cough, cough, cough, Snake Princess, let go! I'm dying, I'm dying!"

...

The journey back to Marine Headquarters was safe and uneventful. Along the way, Law continuously trained his Haki. No one disturbed him, but many details had changed. The Marines' attitude had also changed. For example, before meals, the best food was always given to Law, and no matter how late it was, the Marines would wait for Law to arrive before starting to eat. This was respect from the heart. Respect for a strong individual, and also respect for their savior.

Marine Headquarters! Law returned to his home. The Marines naturally went to report on their mission.

"Did that Corazon fellow go out?" Law looked at the empty room, his eyes slightly narrowed: "That idiot, didn't I tell him not to leave Marine Headquarters easily? Doesn't he know Doflamingo always wants to kill him?" Corazon, who had already become a Rear Admiral, was now an officer in the intelligence agency. Upon first entering Marine Headquarters, the first thing Law wanted to do was remove Vergo, Doflamingo's mole within the Marines. Otherwise, he wouldn't be safe even in Marine Headquarters. He told everything to Corazon, who naturally informed Marine Headquarters. Unfortunately, Doflamingo had anticipated this. Vergo had already left the Marines and returned to the Donquixote Family.
