"I originally thought you could become a gold medal son-in-law, but now it seems there's no hope."

Dirk Carter laughed at himself.

He said, "They say that people are born equal, but that's all a bunch of nonsense. In reality, people get branded with their social class from birth. Like Dorothy Zechariah, her biggest worry should be what to wear today or what bag to carry. Meanwhile, some of her peers worry about whether they can eat today or where to borrow money to pay for their parents' medical bills."

"Are you trying to say that you and she are not in the same class?"

Ewan Forrest asked.

Dirk Carter shook his head, but his gaze became more determined.

He said, "No, I mean I want to change this inherent class difference. Perhaps I can't make everyone prosperous everywhere I go, but I will do my best to eliminate these unfairnesses, even if the road is full of hardships."
