Delilah Goodman turned around, saw Dirk Carter, and a smile broke out on her face.
Seeing this, Maeve Winters quickly ran over, picked up a grilled chicken wing, sniffed it, and exclaimed: "Smells so good, sis, you still got this skill?"
"Don't just eat, come and lend a hand."
Delilah Goodman said and started transferring the food from the grill to the small table.
In no time, a table full of delicious food was laid out.
The three each sat on one side.
Maeve Winters took out a pack of beer.
She opened a bottle for Dirk Carter.
Then raised her own bottle and said to Dirk Carter: "I hadn't had the chance to have a meal with you since you got better, so let's toast to you with Maeve, wishing you great fortune after surviving the disaster."
"Surviving the disaster, there must be blessings in store."
Maeve Winters echoed.
The three laughed heartily.
