Yuta stared at the floor for a long moment, the weight of everything still crushing his chest. The orgy, the brutal fucking downstairs, the way Hina's mother and Hina had been destroyed in front of him — it all flashed behind his eyes again. But Misaki's broken voice had cut through it. Her pain. Her loneliness. The secret love she had carried for years. He couldn't let her leave. Not like this. Not tonight.
His voice came out small, hoarse, and completely sincere.
"Stay… my room tonight… in my house."
Misaki lifted her head slowly. Her red, swollen eyes searched his face, like she was waiting for him to laugh, to take it back, or to be cruel. She swallowed hard.
"Do you really mean it?"
Yuta didn't hesitate. He looked straight at her, voice steady and calm even though his heart was still racing.
"Yes… I can't let you leave like that… not after what I saw… not after what you told me… I'm not going anywhere… I'm staying right here… with you…"
