Chapter 67 - Chapter 66 Do you think you can control me?

The Boys Universe.

Vought's Compound V created various superhumans, some with immense strength, others with super speed, and still others with abilities like fire control, telekinesis, and teleportation.

Dust covered the room of a long-abandoned and uninhabited Villa.

In New York City, a faint blue light flickered into existence.

"It's been a long time since I've been back."

A middle-aged man in a black suit appeared, with slicked-back hair, a finely trimmed, authoritative mustache, and leaning on a staff with a large diamond embedded in its top. He exuded the imposing aura of a gang Master accustomed to controlling the lives and deaths of others, looking arrogant, though his posture was somewhat disheveled.

He sighed, his eyes scanning the surrounding area, which felt both familiar and strange, tinged with nostalgia.

Having just escaped a chase, he washed up, sat down, and perused the latest news.

"Dark Star promoted to Honorary President of Vought, joining the Board of Directors?

When did this hero pop up?"

"The newest superhero to join the Seven in the past year, with strength comparable to Homelander's?"

"He fought Homelander on a deserted island in the Atlantic Ocean, destroying nearly a hundred miles of the surface?"

Looking at the shocking photos interspersed throughout the report, a bead of cold sweat trickled down Jensen's forehead.

"That World is indeed better.

No chaotic superhumans."

He put down the tablet, leaned back, and exhaled in relief.

He was also a superhuman; besides his physical prowess far exceeding that of ordinary people, he possessed an ability to travel to a parallel version of a real-World.

"Although in that World, New York was called something else, Gotham, I still recognized it at a glance; it was New York."

He curled his lips into a smile.

That parallel World also had some cities he had never heard of, but the general background was the same, except for one point.

"That World isn't like the real World, where superhumans are everywhere. I'm the only strong one there. I can do whatever I want."

Comfortably reclining on the sofa, a smug expression appeared on Jensen's face.

In this World, with Vought and the superheroes above him, he dared not do anything. But in the other World, he could act as he pleased.

Relying on his bulletproof body, capable of lifting tens of tons, it took him only a few years to unify the Gotham underworld. People called him the King of Gotham's Underworld, Vulture Jensen.

The Mayor often sought his opinion, and even the Police Director worked for him. Not to mention that batch of Gotham Police, who worked for him at night and took part-time jobs at the Police station during the day.

"It's just a pity that a short-sighted kid named Batman recently popped up."

Thinking of what happened recently, Jensen's face darkened.

That masked wack, Gotham's new midnight legend—Batman, appeared and disappeared like a Shadow in the night, fighting crime. Those he targeted would at least lie in Wayne Hospital in the city center for several months, many ending up with lifelong disabilities.

Initially, he was worried for a while, thinking he was a superhuman, but a subsequent investigation revealed he was just an ordinary person, and he promptly dismissed the thought.

But he didn't expect that kid to be so audacious, not content with just robbing banks or dealing White powder. He actually dared to target him.

He was attacked in the middle of the night, all his subordinates were dealt with, and he angrily chased after him in his car, wanting Batman to know the consequences of offending him.

As it turned out, he was careless and fell into a trap.

As the car turned a corner, it was trapped by a steel box, which quickly sprayed anesthetic gas inside.

"You made me have to come back to this World, Batman, you did well!"

Recalling this, Jensen gnashed his teeth, his sinister, low voice sending shivers down one's spine.

"Do you think a rat from the gutter can fly just by growing two wings?!"

"I'll let you know whose territory Gotham really is!"

When his ability allowed him to travel between the two Worlds, he would return to the same location where he left.

He planned to order some tools online, such as oxygen tanks, gas masks, and steel-cutting tools, to go back and deal with that masked kid with the butt chin.

Although that kid was a bit cunning, he would definitely die at his hands in the end. No matter how difficult the situation, he could leave at any time. Could that kid really chase him to this World?

In Wakanda's secret cave, where Heart-Shaped Herb was cultivated, bonfires blazed.

Through the ritual, Golden Leopard, wearing his Vibranium armor and having just awakened from the red sand, ingested the Heart-Shaped Herb, gaining speed and strength far exceeding that of ordinary humans.

"Burn all the Heart-Shaped Herb."

He forcefully ordered the newly appointed priest to burn all the Heart-Shaped Herb on the ground, which resembled hearts and glowed with a mysterious purple light.

Golden Leopard's eyes gleamed with greed and ambition.

From now on, one King of Wakanda would be enough—him.

"You became King, immediately put on Vibranium armor, and haven't taken it off since. Who are you guarding against?"

From the Shadows, an handsome face like a God appeared, and Ron slowly walked into the cave with his hands behind his back.

"I heard that the vows made by despicable people when they are in need are broken once they escape their predicament."

"Are you such a person?"

"The energy you shoot can blow open a tank's defenses, and you have some strange little tricks, but the Vibranium on my body can absorb any attack."

In the secret cave, Golden Leopard's arrogant voice rang out, having gained immense power. He revealed the Vibranium claws of his armor, a cold smile on his face, and strode menacingly towards Ron with murderous intent.

"You think you can control me?"

He raised his claws, intending to eliminate the last hidden danger to his acquisition of this country.

"Actually, I can."

Ron chuckled softly, his powerful psychic ability radiating.

"Master."

Golden Leopard suddenly felt his body unable to move, then his consciousness faded. He, who had just intended to kill Ron, suddenly retracted his claws, bowed his head, and stood silently, like a slave or attendant awaiting orders.

He patted him on the shoulder.

"If you had been more observant, you would have noticed that the priest who succeeded me immediately retreated to the side unusually after I entered. Unfortunately, you don't have that kind of brain."

He had never expected Golden Leopard to honor their deal, his magnetic, deep voice resonating.

"Go, as a villain, I allow you to perform your final curtain call, and then it will be my turn to appear."

"Yes."

Wearing his Vibranium armor, Golden Leopard walked out of the cave in silent, murderous solemnity and disappeared.

"The Heart-Shaped Herb bestowed by the Leopard God…"

Scanning the dimly glowing Heart-Shaped Herb in the cave, Ron's gaze deepened.

He wondered if the Heart-Shaped Herb could aid in the research of Compound V; at least, it could help develop a temporary adult Compound V.

That way, he could disrupt the fate of the entire Earth.

Under the night sky, a Vibranium spaceship flew a thousand meters above Wakanda.

A colossal, hundred-meter-tall projection hovered over the city.

"Wakanda, this place that abandoned me!"

"I'm back.

I can be your King, but I disdain to be a Black Panther."

Golden Leopard, clad in Vibranium armor, tightly clutched the Queen, whom he had previously imprisoned for disrespecting the King, as he delivered his hateful speech.

"While you lived carefree on this land, I, whose father was taken by you, struggled to survive in Hell's Kitchen in New York.

While your princes lived privileged lives, toasting and laughing with nobles and magnates, I had to brave gunfire and danger on the battlefield, honing my killing skills."

Everyone in Wakanda looked in terror at Golden Leopard, who loomed above them like a Loki. Compared to the enormous, ferocious projection in the sky, they felt like mere ants.

"Enduring hardship, everything I did was to get revenge on you.

I will destroy Wakanda, destroy this place that abandoned my father and me."

Swish! As he spoke, his sharp Vibranium claws sliced across the terrified Queen's neck. Blood gushed out, and she became a corpse.

"First, T'Chaka's family, then you!"

A massive arm swept across the sky, and he pointed, like a God of Death's judgment.

A holographic image of the city was projected onto the night sky.

It was covered in red dots, all densely packed Vibranium bombs.

"I have installed Vibranium bombs in every part of this city."

"They will explode in ten seconds.

You will all be buried in a sea of Fire along with the entire city. Die!"

A terrifying, triumphant laugh echoed throughout Wakanda.

Ten, nine, eight, seven…

The projection in the sky began to count down, giant numbers spanning the night sky. Every wide-eyed person could see them, and each countdown felt like the God of Death's approach.

"Enjoy your last moments of despair!"

"No, I don't want to die."

"Who will save us?"

"It's too late, there's no time left, just a few seconds. Who can save us?

Wakanda will cease to exist after tonight."

Cries of the populace rang out in the city. They looked up in fear and despair, wishing someone would save them, but also feeling it was impossible.

"Leopard God, bless us.

May we ascend to your kingdom after death."

"Four, three, two…"

Just as the countdown was about to end, a figure, with a powerful and cold demeanor, burst into the spaceship.

"Golden Leopard, your despicable fate ends here!"
