Chapter 86 - Chapter 86: Akainu “You Haven’t Seen Anyone from the World Government Near G-3!”

The discussion had been fierce, but once the Navy's top brass aligned their vision and unified their stance, decisions were made with unprecedented speed. All disputes were smoothed over, compromises struck, and in the end, the course was set.

Akainu himself volunteered to march into the New World. As one of the Navy's ultimate forces, he would personally take command of G-5, establishing a permanent presence in the most chaotic seas to keep the Four Emperors under constant threat.

Aokiji was entrusted with overseeing the transportation and protection of the secret gold reserves.

Kizaru remained at headquarters, his light-speed mobility ensuring he could respond instantly to any crisis across the oceans.

Zephyr, the legendary instructor, was reassigned to G-3 to assist Rear Admiral Renn Hawk in training the next generation of the Navy's core strength.

Vice Admiral Garp, untamed as ever, would serve as the wild card, free to act wherever unexpected disaster struck.

With roles distributed, the Navy's colossal war machine began to operate in silence yet with unmatched efficiency, its gears turning to prepare for the storms to come.

In the suffocating quiet of a sealed meeting room at Marineford, Akainu convened the hawkish core of vice admirals. Spider, Doberman, and several others all men whose very names struck terror into pirates. Each had waded through seas of blood, their hands permanently stained with the lives of countless enemies.

Now, however, these battle-hardened officers sat in silence, weighed down by the oppressive aura radiating from the man at the head of the table. Akainu sat with his arms crossed, the air around him shimmering like iron heated to a glowing red.

"I will go to the New World," he finally rumbled, his voice low, steady, and terrifying. "I will be stationed permanently at G-5."

The words landed like thunder. The gathered vice admirals exchanged sharp glances. For one of the Navy's three Admirals its highest battlefield strength to leave headquarters and settle at the most chaotic frontlines… the significance was earthshaking.

Akainu rose, his boots striking heavily against the floor as he strode toward the massive sea chart covering the wall. His gaze, sharp as a blade, swept across every officer present before narrowing on two names.

"Doberman. Spider. You and three others will immediately lead a headquarters fleet to G-3. Not to support, but to garrison."

He slammed his finger against a point on the Grand Line's map. "G-3 will become the heart of the Navy's future. You will seal it off with the strictest measures possible. From this day forward, no ship no matter who commands it sets foot near those waters without direct approval from the highest authority."

His voice grew harsher, each word laced with fire. "Anyone who dares approach anyone will be treated as the enemy."

The vice admirals felt their breath catch, their throats tightening under the sheer dominance of his will.

Doberman finally stepped forward, his voice steady but grave. "Admiral… what if it is someone from the World Government? Or the CP agencies?"

It was a question so sharp it could cut steel. After all, the Navy was, at least officially, under the banner of the World Government.

The room's temperature seemed to climb again. Every eye turned to Akainu, waiting for his judgment.

He did not answer right away. Instead, he reached into his coat, produced a cigar, and lit it with a spark of his own magma. The ember glowed like hellfire as he drew in smoke, the crimson light illuminating the hard planes of his face.

Exhaling a thick cloud, his tone twisted with icy mockery.

"Have any of you," he asked slowly, "ever seen anyone from the World Government near G-3?"

The chamber froze. Not a single word dared disturb the silence.

Every man here was no fool. They understood immediately. Anyone who tried to approach… would simply vanish. Their bones scattered in the depths, their names never recorded. It would be as if they had never existed at all.

The vice admirals snapped to attention in unison, their eyes blazing. "Understood!"

A dark flame of resolve burned in their hearts. They saluted, no longer hesitant, only consumed by the same ruthless certainty.

Akainu added one final instruction, his voice unyielding. "The supreme commander of G-3 is Renn Hawk. He may only be a rear admiral now, but he is recognized by both Fleet Admiral Sengoku and myself as the future of the Navy. You will work with him, not against him."

That same night, under the shroud of silence, five colossal warships slid out from a hidden dock at Marineford. They bore no flags, no insignia only the dark gleam of armored hulls that moved like steel beasts across the moonlit sea.

At the prow of the lead ship stood Aokiji, his Observation Haki stretched wide, monitoring every ripple of the surrounding waters. The wind whipped through his black curls and sent his coat of justice snapping like a banner. There was no trace of his usual laziness. His half-lidded eyes now shone sharp as frozen steel, reflecting the infinite black of the night.

The five giant ships cut through the ocean in silence, vanishing into the darkness as they surged toward the skyward seas.

Meanwhile, in the Fleet Admiral's office, Sengoku buried himself in towering stacks of documents. His pen scratched across reports with relentless pace. He needed everything in order before departing for the Holy Land of Mary Geoise.

There was a debt he intended to collect.

Donquixote Doflamingo.

The warlord had planted spies within the Navy itself, and Sengoku had caught them red-handed. The insult was intolerable. Since when could a pirate infiltrate the Navy so brazenly?

He sneered coldly. This time, he had only two demands. Either the World Government paid enough to soothe the fury of the Navy, or they stripped Doflamingo of his Shichibukai title and let the Navy purge the filth themselves.

Once, he might have hesitated, worried about "balance" or the Five Elders' faces. But not now. Not anymore.

Money was power. And this time, Sengoku intended to collect and to enjoy watching the Elders squirm when he slammed his terms on their table.

Three days later, at G-3.

The training grounds thundered with the roars of thousands of bare-chested soldiers, sweat glistening like bronze under the scorching sun. They pushed their bodies beyond all limits, their voices guttural like beasts.

"Add fifty kilos!"

"One hundred one-arm pushups! Fail, and you're washing Major Sanji's dishes!"

"Did you hear? Captain Zoro and Major Sanji are brawling in the back mountains again shook the ground like an earthquake!"

"Those two monsters!"

The chaos was shattered by the piercing shriek of an alarm.

"Full assembly!"

Dane's roar cracked across the field like thunder. Instantly, every soldier abandoned their training, sprinting to formation. In mere moments, thousands stood in perfect ranks, steel and flesh aligned as one.

On the high platform, Renn Hawk gazed across the iron ranks, then lifted his eyes to the distant horizon.

There, five massive shadows swelled larger and larger, tearing through the waves.

Five warships, colossal as mountains, bore down upon G-3.

The elite vice admirals of headquarters had arrived.
