Enkidu's right arm shifted, morphing into a blade that lunged forward, skewering one of the writhing Lahmu.

"Don't worry," Enkidu whispered, his voice as calm as a still lake. "I'll make sure it only hurts."
He transformed the blade into a flurry of feathered arrowheads. They fluttered and pulsed within the creature's midsection, meticulously mincing its internal organs into a red slurry.
[eqe! eqe! eqe——!!]
"I'm sorry. I haven't the slightest idea what you're trying to say."
With a casual, crisp motion—as easily as one might snap a wafer—he bisected the Lahmu vertically down its center.
"Ah, Fou-kun makes this work so much easier."
He swayed like a flicker of light, a faint, beautiful smile dancing on his lips as he pounced upon the next Lahmu.

Driven by a primal instinct for self-preservation, the Lahmu lunged its spindly limbs toward Enkidu, seeking to impale him. He caught the appendages without effort.
"Now then... let's test your durability, shall we?"
