"You're not the boss of me. So... No!"
Clara heard those words and felt like her head was on fire. No one had ever spoken to her like that, not even Viktor.
She wanted to order the guards to tie him up or maybe, lounge forward to hit his face, but she stopped herself.
The door opened again and his little sister stepped out of the car.
"Brother, aren't we going? The driver is already complaining," she asked and Elias looked at his sister.
"We'll be leaving now. Go back into the car," he said. He also wants to leave before Viktor returns. He didn't want to see his face at all.
Gerald walked out again.
"The kids are asleep, Elias." He said. They chatted for less than a minute, forgetting that Clara was in front of them, and Gerald helped him into the car, and the cab drove off.
Gerald smiled again as he realised how much he had missed Elias. Not just him, the kids and everyone in the house.
