He was a beta. Minho knew that fact. So he never expected to perceive any scent from an Alpha or an omega. It had always been like that.
But strangely, he could perceive Yujin's floral scent. A sweet scent of daisies filled his nostrils. Soothing his every sense.
It was a scent he could only perceive from Seo Yujin. One that he had perceived strongly the first time they had met when he was in heat or so. One that strangely was getting to him even as a beta.
And one that he was also perceiving from Yujin in a soft addictive manner.
It wasn't supposed to be like that. Minho knew. He was a beta, so he was certain he wasn't supposed to be perceiving it. He had even gone to the doctor after their first meeting to make sure he was okay.
"Am I still a beta?" Minho had asked the doctor.
"Well, pretty much yes. Nothing has changed." The doctor's reply was direct. And it left Minho more confused because if he was still a beta, why the hell could he then perceive Yujin's omega scent.
