"I have to go…" was all Seo Yujin could come up with as he slipped away from Jaehyuk. He stood up and made his way to the door.
"Yujin…" Jaehyuk panicked as he turned to him. "Where are you going…?"
Seo Yujin said nothing. His mind had gone numb. He wasn't thinking at the moment—he couldn't. All his brain told him to do was retreat. To run away. Anywhere. He just wanted to leave there.
And so he pulled the door open and fled. Without thinking, he was soon running down the hotel stairs. His feets feeling heavy, each step growing louder as his heart pounded in his ears.
Jaehyuk let out a deep sigh. He ran a hand through his hair, complicated emotions rushing through his veins. He felt frustrated.
A part of him regretted his abrupt confession. But he didn't think he could have held it in any longer. It had come naturally in that moment. And he didn't think twice before he let it out — he didn't think he needed to.
