A few minutes had gone by. Yan'an was standing at a distance, waiting for them to finish their conversation. It was taking longer than expected, but soon LianHua and his parents walked out to meet him.
Yan'an turned to stare at them, not knowing what to expect. "What did you talk to them about?"
LianHua smiled. "It's a secret."
Yan'an glared at him before he looked up at his parents.
His mother slowly walked up and patted him on the shoulder, a soft smile running through her lips. "You must have worked so hard... I suppose it was never easy for my baby..." It was obvious that she was holding in her emotions.
Now Yan'an was curious as he stared at them.
His mother smiled warmly at him. "Remember to take care of yourself even during practice. Don't work too hard. Okay?"
Yan'an stared at her, confused. "What's wrong?"
