This process repeated a few more times, Ved roared, the pain was almost unbearable. However he could feel the changes to his body.
Everytime he shrank, his muscles became denser and tougher. His bones became harder and his blood thicker yet flowed even faster.
His scales fell off leaving him bare and vulnerable. Then new stronger and darker scales grew on his body.
His spikes also grew a bit wider and longer, they came much tougher as well. His organs, including his trait organs became more durable.
His poison and web fluid grew denser. His lungs and other organs also became tougher but when the changes reached his hearts something unexpected happened.
