While the power of the herald was limited in the nightmares. That was because the nightmares were connected to the real world through the dreamers.
However that was not the case in the dream space. The dream space was an entirely different realm and there was no limit of power here.
The herald could reveal his true strength without reservations. Ved immediately tried to take the two of them and disappear.
If they woke up they would've escaped from the herald but he found out he couldn't. His power no longer worked.
He couldn't escape, his entire body shook with fear. Without hesitation he activated the wings of Garuda.
He flew off faster than light since the laws of the heavens didn't restrict him as much here. However even that was not enough.
The herald grew larger, his body continued expanding. No matter how far Ved flew it seemed as if the herald was right there behind him.
