Chapter 162 - The Special Paramecia Blood-Blood Fruit!

Craster frowned slightly and said in a low voice, "I've received a reply from the World Government! They've agreed to let me be a Warlord of the Sea! You Marines don't have the authority to go after me anymore!"

Diarmuid grinned. "Is that so? Then please show me the Warlord of the Sea letter of a pardon. I'd like to see it."

"The procedure isn't complete yet… But I'm not lying to you," Craster said, looking annoyed.

"So you can't show it to me. Craster, have you ever considered that the World Government is lying to you?" Diarmuid said, stroking his chin.

Craster froze for a moment. "Impossible! Why would they lie to me!?"

"I'm standing right here. Do I need to be more direct?" Diarmuid shrugged.

A flash of crimson anger appeared in Craster's eyes. "Is the Warlord of the Sea system a scam to target pirates like me from the beginning?"

Diarmuid picked his ear. "Who knows? Maybe so…"

At this point, Craster calmed down a little and looked at Doflamingo. "Doflamingo, since when did you join the Marines?"

Doflamingo's hands were in his pockets, and he was still smiling. He said to Craster, "No, you've misunderstood. How could I be with the Marines? It's just that I have a good relationship with Admiral Diarmuid, so…"

"So you're going to abandon me, your ally, and side with the Marines, is that it?" A hint of murderous intent appeared in Craster's eyes. He didn't know Doflamingo's true identity, or he would have never said something like that.

Doflamingo nodded seriously. "No, no, no. You're one of my good friends, and he's my business partner. Under these circumstances, I'm in a difficult position, so I can only choose to stay out of it."

"Do you think they'll let you go after they've taken care of me?" Craster said, trying to provoke him. But he still didn't know Doflamingo's true identity, otherwise he would never have said such a thing.

"Of course. They definitely will," Doflamingo said with a serious nod.

At that moment, Craster touched his waist. In the next instant, a dagger hanging from his belt shot out and directly stabbed Doflamingo in the chest.

"Then you're my enemy," Craster said with a savage smile. At the same time, he made a pulling motion with his hand toward Doflamingo. However, he was stunned again and looked down at his own hand before looking back at Doflamingo.

"Fuffuffuffu…" Doflamingo suddenly started laughing. "Did you think I was just some weak businessman you could slaughter, Craster?"

"Oh, is that a String Clone?" Diarmuid turned to look at Doflamingo's chest. There was indeed a dagger in it, but there was no injury or a single drop of blood. It was clear that this was Doflamingo's String Clone, a decoy that was difficult to tell from the real thing.

It was likely that from the beginning, he had been very wary of Diarmuid, and to avoid being tricked again, he didn't dare to come in person and only sent a String Clone.

"How disappointing. I was hoping you two would fight it out so I could take advantage of it," Diarmuid said with a pout.

Because it was a clone, there was no blood. Craster had thought he could instantly kill Doflamingo by draining his blood, but it was likely he hadn't even met the real Doflamingo.

It seemed that this guy's ability was strange and his strength was great, but his intelligence wasn't very high.

"I did underestimate you a little…" Craster said softly. He slowly extended his arm, clenched his hand, and then released it. A single drop of blood dripped from his palm. Then, a string of blood beads fell, but just as the drops of blood were about to hit the roof he was standing on, they stopped in mid-air.

In the next second, the blood beads connected and instantly formed a long knife. The visual effect was impressive. The ability was very strange.

While Diarmuid watched him perform with an appreciative gaze, Craster didn't use the blood knife. Instead, he swung his other hand, and another dagger from his waist shot out, grazing Diarmuid's cheek and heading toward Vergo behind him.

Diarmuid's expression didn't change at all, as if Vergo's life was of no concern to him.

Fortunately, Vergo was competent enough. He wrapped his Armament Haki around his arm, didn't bother to pull out the bamboo stick on his back, but instead drew the dagger he kept at his waist, which he used to kill fish for Diarmuid. He precisely parried the flying dagger.

But in the next instant, Vergo saw a hint of blood on the dagger's blade. He suddenly realized that there was Craster's blood on the dagger. He was using his blood to control the dagger, a deceptive trick to lower people's guard.

As expected, the dagger that should have been parried to the ground spun twice in the air and suddenly changed its trajectory, heading directly toward Hina beside Diarmuid.

Hina's strength was still in a developmental stage, and she was holding a pile of documents. She was too close to evade it.

Craster's eyes showed a cruel smile. He seemed to have already envisioned the beautiful female Marine getting her skin cut open, bleeding, and then being drained into a dried-up corpse.

But just as the dagger was about to hit Hina, at the moment her panicked expression appeared, the dagger seemed to hit an invisible wall and was immediately repelled, sticking straight into the ground.

"My secretary is a beautiful girl. Can you afford it if you leave a scar on her?" Diarmuid said with a laugh. The moment he finished speaking, an extremely powerful gravitational force emanated from him and then disappeared.

While everyone was surprised, the building Craster was on collapsed. He fell from the roof, suppressed by an invisible gravitational force, and was pinned to the ground, unable to move.

Doflamingo's eyes flashed with surprise. Another instant kill?

Just then, a crimson light flashed in Craster's eyes. In the next second, he exploded, turning into several torrents of blood that shot in all directions.

"Is this ability documented?" Diarmuid asked.

"No. According to our intelligence, we've never seen him use this move," Hina quickly replied.

"Okay, then record this: the Paramecia Blood-Blood Fruit is a special Devil Fruit that can mimic Logia-like effects. It's a bit like Katakuri's Mochi-Mochi Fruit and also a bit like Commodore Gasparde's Candy-Candy Fruit," Diarmuid said softly.

"Yes, Admiral," Hina nodded.

Most Devil Fruit encyclopedias were compiled this way, by gradually gathering information.

There was no need to say much about Katakuri's Mochi-Mochi Fruit; it was a special Paramecia Devil Fruit. Marine Headquarters had a similar Devil Fruit user, Commodore Gasparde. He was a Candy-Candy Fruit user. It was expected that he would eventually defect from the Marines, but for now, he was a Marine Commodore of Justice.

The Blood-Blood Fruit was undoubtedly a Paramecia-type ability, but from what they were seeing, it could also use Logia-like abilities, so it was probably a special kind of Devil Fruit.

The streams of blood converged, and Craster's figure appeared again. His pirate subordinates also seemed to have reacted, emerging from the various alleys near the port.

"Boss, are you okay?"

"A Marine Admiral?!"

"Did Doflamingo betray us?"

But before these pirate subordinates could express their loyalty, a cruel aura flashed from Craster. A torrent of blood instantly pierced through the bodies of his subordinates. Craster raised his hand and pulled a large amount of blood out of the pirates' bodies from a distance.

In a short time, dozens of pirate subordinates were all dead, turned into corpses. In front of Craster, a torrent of fresh blood gathered.

"I'm telling you, you pirates are disgusting. You can kill your own subordinates on a whim?" Diarmuid said with a hint of helplessness.

"Subordinates?" Craster laughed cruelly. "I don't need such worthless subordinates. They're just my blood reservoirs… Get ready to feel despair, Marine Admiral!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Craster spread his arms and then swung them forward. The torrent of blood floating in front of him instantly turned into a barrage, like a machine gun, covering Diarmuid and the others.

Vergo took the bamboo stick from his back and wrapped it in Haki. Hina also got into a defensive stance. Doflamingo, however, didn't care. Since he wasn't the real one there, he just stood by with his hands in his pockets, enjoying the show.

But neither Vergo nor Hina's preparations were of any use. The blood-colored barrage, which was flying like a curtain of rain, was blocked by an invisible force about three meters in front of Diarmuid. It was as if there was an invisible wall in front of Diarmuid and the others. A large amount of blood splattered there but couldn't move an inch forward.

Craster was not surprised by this. He waved his hands again, and the scattered blood streams converged, like flowing water, and directly surrounded Diarmuid and the others.

"Blood Corrosion!" Craster roared. The converged blood streams instantly exploded, turning into a larger, but thinner, blood-red mist that enveloped the entire port.

Some local thugs and hooligans who were hiding in the shadows of the port watching the show were suddenly engulfed by the blood mist. The moment they came into contact with it, their skin began to fester, and they screamed in agony.

In a moment, a large amount of blood flowed into the mist. All the local lowlifes hiding in the port were completely corroded, contributing even more blood.

"Hahahaha! Marine Admiral! I'm the type who gets stronger the more I fight! Experience this feast of blood!" Craster laughed maniacally.

Diarmuid looked at the blood mist that was being held back by his repulsive force and was a little surprised. "This ability is really good!"

He could take his enemies' blood and continuously strengthen his attacks. This was a real weapon of mass destruction on the battlefield. If the Whitebeard Pirates had a user with this ability during the Summit War, they would have been so much more formidable. This ability was made for the battlefield!

"Admiral! If you let him continue like this, the innocent civilians on the island and the soldiers on the warships…" Hina quickly warned him.

"Tsk. I was hoping to see what else he could do," Diarmuid said with a hint of helplessness.

After he spoke, Diarmuid slowly raised his arm and reached for the blood mist. Doflamingo looked on in surprise. Was this guy trying to personally experience the feeling of being corroded?

But just as Diarmuid's hand was about to touch the blood mist, a purplish-black energy emanated from his palm. Then, to Doflamingo's surprise, the large amount of blood mist in front of Diarmuid began to converge toward his palm. It gradually condensed from a mist into liquid blood, which then coiled around Diarmuid's fingers.

'If someone didn't know better, they would think he was the Blood-Blood Fruit user!' Doflamingo thought to himself.

After three or four breaths, all the blood mist in the port had converged in front of Diarmuid's palm. What was even more surprising was that the huge torrent of blood that was once in Craster's hand was now only the size of a basketball.

"Compressed…" Doflamingo said softly. It was clear that Diarmuid had used his gravity to compress all the blood. So even though the blood ball was only the size of a basketball, it must have been incredibly heavy.

Craster was also completely dumbfounded. He kept trying to pull the blood ball back, but he couldn't. He could still feel that he could control the blood, but he just couldn't pull it back. It was as if the blood was fixed in place.

"Is that all you've got? How disappointing," Diarmuid said, looking at Craster with a mocking expression.
