When Axel finally moved and went to the lecture room where the alpha males were taking their lectures today, he found many of them already settled.
The lecturer was at the front, papers and notes arranged neatly, his voice already starting the lecture as if nothing unusual could ever interrupt the morning routine.
Was it already 8 a.m.? Axel wondered briefly, but the thought barely registered before it was replaced by something far more urgent.
He had far more to worry about than the time or the lecturer at the front.
His gaze scanned the room, instinctively searching for Ivan. He expected to find at least a hint of his presence, some faint scent or telltale movement, but there was nothing. Not even a trace.
His eyes met Dallas's briefly, but he didn't linger. Right now, Axel couldn't focus on anyone but Ivan.
Where was he?
