As Sophia just the door behind headed to the kitchen.
Ana stepped out from her hiding spot, her eyes locked on Sophia's. "Pst, pst," she called out, her voice low and urgent. "Sophia, I heard everything. I want us to work together."
Sophia turned around, her expression unreadable. "Why would I do that?" she asked, her voice dripping with skepticism as she walked away.
Ana's eyes narrowed. "Because we both want the same thing," she said, her voice rising. "We both want to bring down mira."
Sophia stopped in her tracks, her interest piqued. She turned around, her eyes searching Ana's face. "What makes you think I'm interested in bringing down mira?" she asked, her voice laced with curiosity.
