Leo stormed out of the room, his mind reeling with emotions. He couldn't process the revelation that Miss Jenkins, the woman he had trusted, was his biological mother and a mastermind of chaos. Mira tried to follow him, but he pushed her away. "Don't touch me, Mira. Hands off," he said, his voice cold and detached.
Liam appeared, and Leo barked orders at him. "Take care of it, Liam. Yes, boss, right away."
As Leo walked away, the weight of his mother's actions bore down on him. He felt lost and alone, unsure of how to navigate the complex emotions that swirled inside him.
He walked until he reached a quiet place far from the warehouse house, but Mira followed. "Leo, would you keep following me around like a thief?" Mira said. "I was just watching you so you don't do something stupid."
"Why are you following me, Mira?" Leo asked, his voice firm.
"You know why," Mira said, her voice soft. "I love you."
Leo stopped on his track, surprised. "You what?" he asked, shockingly and surprised.
But before Leo could say another word, Mira kissed him and mumbled against his lips, "If you stop kissing, it means you're a crybaby." And Leo deepened the kiss.
The tension between them was palpable, and the revelation about Miss Jenkins seemed to fade into the background as they lost themselves in each other's arms.....
