Mira's response was a surprise to Lucy, who had expected her to disagree .
Leo's eyes lit up with interest, as he nodded. "Of course. Let's go ."
Lucy felt a pang of unease as Leo excused himself and followed Mira out of the crowded room.
She didn't like the way Mira seemed to be calling the shots, didn't like the way Leo was following her without hesitation.
As they stepped into the quiet hallway, Lucy trailed behind them, her curiosity getting the better of her.
She watched as Mira and Leo walked to a quiet corner of the hallway, their voices low and husky as they began to talk.
"What's do you want now, Leo?" Mira asked, her voice direct.

Mira's eyes sparkled with amusement. "did he just apologize" she thought to her self
But Leo just stared into her eyes. "Please come back," he said, his voice low and urgent. "There's still so much unresolved between us."
Lucy felt like an outsider, watching as Mira and Leo talked.
She didn't like the way they seemed to have a history, didn't like the way Leo's eyes lit up when he looked at Mira.
She knew she needed to intervene, to stake her claim and make it clear that Leo was hers. But for now, she just stood there, watching and waiting..
