Chapter 1 - THE JUDGMENT

Have you ever wondered what's after death? If we truly die?Yes… it comes to all of us. But what comes after?A heaven, a hell… or maybe the theory of rebirth is true?Too many questions. Confusing. Disturbing. And yet… will we have another chance, or is this journey called life unique and unrepeatable?

Sometimes I feel that life itself is a sigh, fragile and ephemeral, and that every decision can be the beginning of a path we never imagined...

The smoke rose to the sky as if hell itself had descended upon the earth. The devastated ground, full of craters and cracks that breathed fire, seemed to have been bombarded for centuries. In the distance, the seas split apart, the mountains twisted as if they were crying, and the air itself was deformed by the pressure of the overflowing Zau.The battle between Darelius and Maxshiza was not only the end of an era: it was the beginning of the end for the whole world.

For three days and three nights the entire planet trembled. The ocean currents were altered, the poles fractured, and the sky, once blue, became a gray mass where lightning never ceased. The balance of life was broken. The rivers evaporated, the forests burned, and the ecosystem collapsed under the weight of a power that no god should have allowed.

The battlefield — the ancient southeast, the most prosperous land of the Empire — turned into a burning cemetery. The flames did not go out, not even after a thousand years; the earth, blackened and hardened like metal, still emanates Zau radiation, enough to kill any living being who dares to step on it.The whole world suffered wounds, but that place… that point was the heart of the catastrophe.

In the middle of that hell, two figures remained standing. Two fallen gods.Darelius, the Prince of Peace, and Maxshiza, the Emperor of Destruction.Their bodies were no longer human; their muscles trembled, their eyes were burning embers, their steps made the earth vibrate. The superhuman speeds they once possessed had waned — they were no longer lightning, but men on the verge of ruin, moving at five hundred kilometers per hour, sustained only by will.

The air between them was a wall of pressure. Every breath could be the last.

"Senkabut, thousand hands!" roared Darelius.

A hundred spectral arms emerged from his back, charged with the last reserve of his vital energy. The spheres of Zau pulsed like hearts on fire.Maxshiza smiled with madness and unleashed a dark torrent from his sword, a column of energy that tore the sky.The continents rumbled with the clash. A shock wave crossed the planet, lifting seas and tearing entire deserts.

The battle continued, each strike a catastrophe, each dodge a new wound for the world. The animals perished, the skies cried fire, and the atmosphere filled with burning dust that covered the sunlight for generations. But they did not stop. They couldn't.They knew that if one of them survived, balance would never return.

Darelius raised his gaze, with blood running down his face."Did you really think you would kill me with that?"

"If you died that easily, you wouldn't be worth it," answered Maxshiza, laughing through his teeth.

The air cracked. Maxshiza raised his hand, and a black hole formed in his palm, devouring fire, earth, and life.Gravity twisted, the ground opened into cracks that swallowed distant cities, and the skies lit up with lightning that would never die.

Darelius, forced to react, roared with a distorted voice:"...Stun..."

The invisible scream crossed the world. The birds fell dead thousands of kilometers away, the oceans calmed for an instant, and the black hole collapsed.Maxshiza bled from his ears, staggering. But he kept smiling.

The combat intensified once again. Blow by blow, flash by flash.Until Darelius, with his last breath, sealed his enemy's chest."Seal of the Thousand Pieces!"

Maxshiza's body burned with shining runes. For an instant, the entire earth seemed to sigh. But the emperor did not fall: he vanished. And when Darelius lowered his guard, the sword pierced him through the back.

The blood of the Prince of Peace fell on the ground, and where it touched, the earth petrified forever.Even today, a thousand years later, those stains remain there, intact, like divine scars.

"Your destiny… is already sealed…" whispered Darelius before dying. "You will not die by me… you will die by someone weaker than you…"

Silence fell upon the world. The seas stopped roaring. The burning air stopped, as if the planet itself held its breath. And in that instant, the era of the gods ended.

Maxshiza's body vanished, his spirit sealed in the deepest rock of the ancient battlefield. The mountain that imprisoned him still smokes, an eternal reminder of the madness of men who once wanted to be gods.

Since then, a thousand years have passed. And yet… the flames have not gone out.

FINAL CAP 1

Hi 🌊 hi 🌊 hi 🌊 How are you all? This is the restart of the first one — I decided to take a little break to go further in this world, to develop foundations, stories, and create a more connected and exciting plot. This is the beginning of that entire world. I might post more things related to this event, but not in the main story — more like guides.

I'll be trying to release one chapter per week (first in my native language, Spanish, and then in English, which is a bit harder for me).I'll also be posting stuff, info, announcements, etc. on my Instagram.Thank you, English-speaking friends! Here's my Instagram:

@Lonhiin_

(It might even become a manga if I get a drawing tablet, but you'll have to wait — I draw really badly 😅)

That's all for now — have a wonderful day, bye! 🌸
