Ch: 140-148
Chapter 140
Wanda's armor was deep crimson, arcane runes fused flawlessly with the tech plating.
The Mind Stone's setting sat dead-center on the crown, a regal circlet that suited the two women perfectly.
"Give it a try?" Bai Ye looked at them and motioned.
Susan stepped forward without hesitation; in an instant nano-particles swept over her body.
She clenched her fists, feeling Space Stone energy surge through her as Force Field power swelled. "Ooh—this feels amazing!"
Ooh—this feels amazing!
Wanda walked up to her own suit. Sensing her, the armor flowed like liquid and wrapped itself around her.
Scarlet Magic resonated with the plating, and the Mind Stone glimmered at her brow.
Feeling her Chaos Magic, she murmured,
"The drain's been cut way down—not bad."
On the other side Bai Ye donned his armor; six gems slid into place in sequence.
BOOM!
Titanic energy pulsed through the lab yet was perfectly contained, not a joule wasted.
"Now this is what I call true Infinity armor," Bai Ye chuckled. A moment later he drew the remaining Infinity Stones from his private space.
One Power Stone, one Mind Stone, one Space Stone, one Soul Stone, one Reality Stone—stripped from Ultron.
The stones hovered above the bench, radiating heart-stopping power.
Wanda and Susan eyed them, puzzled.
"dear, what are you planning?" Wanda blinked, curious.
Bai Ye merely smiled and swept his hand over the gems.
The Reality and Soul Stones drifted toward Wanda.
"Your Chaos Magic is already formidable, but raw reality-warping strength and soul-level control can still improve," he explained.
"Reality Stone will make your alterations sharper; Soul Stone lets you strike an enemy's very consciousness."
Wanda didn't refuse; she took the two gems.
Sensing them, the breastplate and left-arm ports opened, and the stones seated themselves with a soft click.
HUMM!
Scarlet power flared; red-orange light swirled in her eyes as energy stormed around her.
"This… feels incredible," she whispered.
Once Wanda had acclimated, Bai Ye turned to Susan.
With a flick of his wrist he sent the Power and Mind Stones her way.
Susan's mutant Force Field was weaker than Wanda's Chaos Magic, so he chose to give her an extra gem.
He chose to give her an extra gem.
That would close the gap so she wouldn't lag behind Wanda.
"With these two you already have Space Stone mobility and spatial attacks."
"But your body still can't take much punishment. The Power Stone will raise your X-Gene ceiling and amplify everything."
"The Mind Stone bolsters your mental defenses and refines your psionic control, letting you push your mutation further."
Bai Ye spelled out every benefit the stones would give her.
Susan accepted, slotting both gems into her chest-plate.
Mighty force flooded her frame.
She could feel her strength climb another tier.
Her physique and power had already peaked at the ceiling of her X-Gene under Bai Ye's previous Evolution Formula.
With the Power Stone that ceiling shattered, her body strengthening again.
Her Force Field limits pushed higher as well.
She clenched her fist; the air cracked like thunder.
It showed how terrifying her Physical Stats had become.
Calling her a female Superman wouldn't be an exaggeration now.
"Sweet!"
Susan punched the air, sonic booms trailing her fists.
"I barely tried and I'm already this strong—awesome!"
Watching them adapt, Bai Ye nodded in satisfaction.
"As for this last Space Stone…"
He glanced at the lone gem and tucked it back into his private space.
"Let's keep it for now; might come in handy later."
The three exchanged looks. Wanda smiled lightly. "Right now we're probably Earth's strongest humans."
Susan flexed; violet light from the Power Stone rippled across her armor.
"If any enemy shows up now, they'll be crying all the way home."
Bai Ye shrugged, grinning. "Better they don't. Otherwise I'll show them who really runs this planet."
The armor test was complete, and Bai Ye watched with satisfaction as Wanda and Susan adapted to their newfound power.
Bai Ye tapped the nano-core on his chest plate and issued a command.
"Disarm, portable mode."
Whirr!
The pitch-black nano armor melted away like water, rapidly shrinking and reassembling until it became a sleek mechanical wristwatch wrapped around his left wrist.
The six Infinity Stones that had been embedded in the armor now sat perfectly in the metal band of the watch.
Clearly, Bai Ye had merged the previous infinity gauntlet with the armor.
Each gem was protected by a transparent energy shield—stylish and instantly accessible.
Wanda and Susan stared in astonishment.
"It can do that?!"
Susan lifted her arm and tried a mental command.
"Portable mode?"
In moments, Susan's black-gold armor contracted into a sharp-edged wristwatch.
The Power, Space, and Mind Stones flickered softly on the band.
Wanda tried as well; Scarlet Magic resonated with the nano-tech.
Her armor shrank into a dark-red watch set with the Mind and Soul Stones.
"I thought we'd have to stay suited up forever after embedding the stones."
Wanda flicked her wrist; the gems shimmered under the lab lights.
"Never imagined Infinity Stones could be worn as a watch."
Bai Ye's lips curved in a smug grin.
"Nano-tech plus a pinch of Spatial-fold Magic—works pretty well, huh?"
Susan suddenly thought of something and raised an eyebrow. "But if we wear these gems while shopping, won't some busybody spot them?"
"Relax."
Bai Ye tapped the watch face, looking unruffled. "I've masked the energy signature. Unless you're a cosmic-level being, you won't sense a thing."
Wanda chuckled. "So now we're walking Cosmic Arsenals?"
"More precisely, Cosmic Arsenals on your wrist," Susan corrected. —One day later
S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ, Conference Room
The Avengers were gathered inside.
Tony Stark stood before the Holo-display, outlining the latest tech upgrades.
Suddenly a golden Portal blossomed in the center of the room.
Bai Ye stepped through, a metal suitcase hovering behind him.
"Look who's here, folks."
Tony raised an eyebrow and shut down the projection.
"Our Ever-busy Deity graces S.H.I.E.L.D. with his presence?"
Everyone at the table looked up curiously.
Dr. Banner adjusted his glasses, studying Bai Ye.
Natasha crossed her arms. "Must be big news?"
Hawkeye leaned back, worried. "Please don't tell me it's the end of the World again."
Little Spider waved excitedly. "Mr. Bai! Long time—(no see)!"
Wolverine clamped a cigar between his teeth and grinned. "Been a while, Bai. The Kids at X-Mansionmiss you."
Bai Ye smiled, walked to the table, and the metal case landed with a click.
"Brought you all a little gift." He patted the case.
"Took a trip to Outer Space, picked up some tech on the way."
Tony's eyes lit up. "The Kree Gene Boosters you mentioned? Or the Skrulls' Shape-shift Tech? Don't tell me—"
(Not writing Secret Invasion; plot's too dumb, and Marvel just announced a soft reboot—chances are it's no longer canon!).
Bai Ye cut Tony off and popped the case open.
Inside lay rows of Blue Vials and a small box of Silver Antidote.
"Combined Kree biotech, Skrull cellular adaptability, and a little tweak of my own."
He paused, scanned the room, then continued.
"Inject and your Physical Stats jump dozens of times, plus a random super-power."
The room fell silent.
Natasha narrowed her eyes. "Random powers—such as?"
"Depends on your DNA. Could be telepathy, elemental control, maybe even reality tweaking. The antidote reverses it if you hate the upgrade."
Tony whistled. "You're handing us cheat codes."
Banner frowned. "Side effects?"
"Minimal. Less than 0.1% rejection rate; I've run simulations on every genome here."
Chapter 141
"Flight, energy manipulation, physical mutation—maybe even weirder powers." Bai Ye shrugged, speaking casually.
"In short, it all comes down to your luck."
Hawkeye raised an eyebrow. "Sounds way more exciting than the U.S. Military's super-soldier program."
Banner adjusted his glasses. "Will it work on me? I mean, could it affect the Hulk?"
"It can boost your base physique and powers, so you won't get caught off-guard before you transform," Bai Ye replied with a nod.
"As for the Hulk? He's already strong enough; these 033 don't matter to him."
Little Spider timidly raised a hand. "Um... what if the new ability conflicts with my existing Spider-Sense?"
"It won't. The serum adapts to your genes."
Saying that, Bai Ye glanced at Steve Rogers. "Same goes for you."
After answering everyone's questions, Bai Ye looked around. "Who wants to go first?"
Tony, already eager, jumped up. "Me, of course. Jarvis, prep the Injection Pod."
Having experienced the might of Divine Talent before, Tony knew exactly how valuable Bai Ye was.
If Bai Ye was offering these serums, they had to be 100% safe. In the lab, to test their awakenings, Bai Ye waved everyone into the Mirror Dimension.
Tony lay in the pod as blue serum flowed into his veins.
"Heart rate rising, cellular activity surging, genome restructuring in progress," Jarvis echoed through the lab.
Suddenly Tony's eyes snapped open, pupils flashing blue.
"How do you feel?"
Though he could tell at a glance, Bai Ye stepped forward politely.
Tony kipped up and bounced. "Jarvis, current physical stats?"
"Sir, muscle density up 47-fold, bone strength increased approximately..."
"Numbers are boring."
Interrupting Jarvis, Tony sprinted toward the cityscape inside the Mirror Dimension.
He leapt onto a dozen-story building and hoisted a truck overhead one-handed as easily as lifting a briefcase.
"Whoa!"
Little Spider cheered from the window.
"Mr. Stark just became Captain Pro-Max!"
Remembering Steve beside him, Little Spider froze awkwardly.
"Uh, Captain, I..."
Steve waved it off. "No worries, you're not wrong."
"But let me correct you: even without that serum, Tony was already Captain Pro-Max."
Seeing Steve still joking, Little Spider relaxed.
Natasha, watching Tony's outrageous display, raised a brow. "Looks like S.H.I.E.L.D.'s gym needs an upgrade."
After landing, Tony wasn't done; he inhaled deeply.
Slowly he levitated as energy in the air spiraled toward him.
"Energy Absorption?"
Banner recognized the power, stunned.
Tony clapped his palms together; a bolt of blue energy blasted a simulated building to rubble.
"Cool!"
Logan clapped in applause for Tony.
"Now you can fight strong without the armor."
Tony bounded back, eyes sparkling. "Can this serum be mass-produced?"
Bai Ye smiled confidently. "Of course, it's a breeze for me—but there are two conditions."
"One: injectees must pledge permanent loyalty to me. You can keep your S.H.I.E.L.D. posts; if you ever quit, I'll personally reclaim everything the serum gave you."
"Two: after awakening, you take orders only from me; when I'm absent, follow Tony or S.H.I.E.L.D."
Everyone exchanged glances.
Natasha stepped to the pod first. "Hit me."
Hawkeye followed. "We're already S.H.I.E.L.D. anyway."
Little Spider raised a hand innocently. "Can I call Aunt Mei?"
Logan, cigar in mouth, burst into laughter at the boy's words.
"Kid, your Aunt Mei only asked if she could get one too."
Steve, however, was still a bit hesitant; clearly he hadn't quite adapted to all this yet.
Bai Ye didn't mind—one more or one less made no difference to him.
If Steve couldn't shift his mindset, he'd be left far behind and eventually phased out by the times.
"No rush—let's wait till Tony finishes his test." Bai Ye smiled and waved.
Everyone turned their eyes to Tony again.
Tony hovered mid-air, feeling the energy surging through his body.
"Jarvis."
With a flashy snap of his fingers, Tony ordered Jarvis:
"Assemble the armor—attack mode, thirty percent power."
"Order confirmed."
Nano-plates gushed from the device on his wrist, sheathing him in gleaming gold-and-red armor in the blink of an eye.
"Hold on—what are you doing?" Banner frowned at the sight.
"What else? Scientific validation." Tony rolled his neck.
"Jarvis, lock on to me and fire."
"Copy that, sir!"
Three palm-repulsor beams lanced out, streaking straight toward the unarmored Tony.
"Mr. Stark!" Little Spider cried.
The blasts struck Tony square in the chest—only to ripple away in faint blue rings of light.
He stood motionless; not even his shirt showed a scorch mark.
"..."
Natasha arched a brow, admiration flashing in her eyes. "Looks like your experiment worked."
Tony brushed the spot he'd been hit. "Cellular-level Energy Absorption—93.8 percent damage conversion."
He paused, stunned, and looked at Bai Ye. "That's even wilder than Vibranium."
"Kree and Skrull tech is this good?"
Bai Ye folded his arms, smug. "With just Kree and Skrull tech? Not a chance."
"But with my Divine Talent, it's child's play."
"Theoretically you could go even further—though I don't recommend trying."
Jarvis suddenly cut in: "Sir, unknown energy is cycling inside you—further tests advised."
"Perfect." Tony raised a hand.
"Jarvis, full power—charge the impact cannon."
The armor's arms re-configured, the chest-reactor blazed, and a searing beam erupted.
This time Tony met it head-on.
He leapt into the blast, right fist gathering crackling blue energy.
BOOM!!!
The two forces collided, the shockwave leveling several nearby buildings.
Dust cleared—Tony landed unscathed while the armor's arm smoked from overload.
"Jarvis, damage report."
"Right-arm thruster destroyed; reactor overloaded—immediate service required."
"That's insane," Little Spider blurted. "Mr. Stark, you're more of a human tank than Hulk now."
Banner adjusted his glasses. "Want me to transform for comparison?"
Logan took a drag from his cigar, exhaled a ring of smoke. "Save it, Banner—unless you want Tonymeeting God."
With Tony's demo done, anticipation for the serum peaked.
Without a word Natasha strode to the Injection Pod.
"My turn."
She lay inside; blue serum slid into her vein.
Seconds later—whoosh!
Natasha vanished from the pod.
"Where'd she go?" Hawkeye scanned the lab.
Natasha's voice came from the left: "To your left."
Everyone turned; her figure materialized like a ghost.
Liquid-metal sheen coated her right arm, and razor claws snapped out as she flexed her fingers.
"Localized Metallization plus Invisibility?" Tony raised an eyebrow. "Classic assassin style, Black Widow."
Natasha flexed her wrist, satisfied. "More practical than I expected."
Next up: Hawkeye. After the injection he closed his eyes, feeling the change.
Suddenly blue-white electricity crackled from his fingertips, lighting the entire lab.
Chapter 142
Crap!
Little Spider instinctively dodged as he saw it, obviously remembering a certain opponent.
"Mr. Barton, are you now giving people the Electric Eye?"
Hawkeye looked at the electricity crackling around his hands and grinned.
"Looks like my arrows can carry their own juice from now on—no more special shock-arrows needed."
Next up for the test was Dr. Banner.
Please vote for this story!
As the team's Voice of Reason, Banner hesitated about the injection.
But in the end, trusting Bai Ye's Divine Talent, he lay down inside the pod.
When the serum took effect, his muscle definition sharpened even further.
Boom!
Banner's figure blurred; the next second he was at the lab's far end, moving so fast he left an after-image.
"Twenty Mach instantaneous burst speed."
Bai Ye recited the figure without even looking at the monitor.
"Fast enough for you to dodge any sneak attack before the Hulk comes out to play."
Banner adjusted his glasses. "Now I know how speedsters feel."
Logan clamped a cigar between his teeth and flopped onto the injector couch. "Hurry it up, Mustache."
Tony shot him an annoyed glare before administering the serum.
The instant the drug entered, Logan's X-gene fused with it and began to amplify.
Crack! Crack!
Amid a chorus of snapping bones, Wolverine's frame ballooned; muscles bulged like rock, turning him into a three-meter giant in the blink of an eye.
His Adamantium claws grew with him, each one now as long—and terrifying—as a cavalry lance.
Logan crawled out of the pod grinning like a madman and thumped his own chest. "Now we're talking! In one word—awesome!"
Natasha craned her neck at the towering wolf-man and quipped to Hawkeye:
"Now I get why the X-Mansion charges so much for repairs."
And then it was our Little Spider's turn—twenty-one years old, still the baby of the team.
He swallowed nervously. "Uh… am I gonna sprout something weird?"
Tony patted his shoulder. "Relax. Worst case you'll shoot silk from your butt like a real spider."
"Mr. Stark, that joke is so not funny!"
After Tony's teasing, Peter Parker lay down, still a bit tense, while blue serum slowly flowed into his veins.
A few seconds later—boom!
Peter's body snapped rigid, eyes blazing with orange-red light.
"Argh—hot!"
Little Spider shot upright and instinctively raised his hand; a ball of searing flame ignited in his palm.
The lab temperature spiked and everyone instinctively stepped back.
"Whoa!"
Tony raised an eyebrow. "Peter, switching careers to the Human Torch?"
Peter stared in shock as fire danced harmlessly between his fingers.
He tried flicking his wrist—
Whoosh!
A fiery whip cracked across the Mirror Dimension floor, leaving a charred scar.
"Th-this…"
Excitement flashed across his face, then worry. "But my webbing's flammable!"
Bai Ye calmly pulled up a hologram. "Your Bio-Flames and webbing don't interfere—relax."
Banner adjusted his glasses. "Theoretically, you can now shoot Burning Webs."
Natasha folded her arms and chuckled. "S.H.I.E.L.D.'s fire-safety budget just went up."
Logan grinned around his cigar. "Kid, you're in charge of the next barbecue."
Peter focused the flames under his feet and rose, hovering. "I can fly?"
"Nope—just Hot-Air Propulsion," Bai Ye corrected. "But with your spider agility, the effect's the same."
After Little Spider finished, Bai Ye turned to Steve—message clear.
Steve paused, then strode toward the pod. Passing Bai Ye, he said quietly:
"Then I'm entrusting my future to you, Mr. Bai. Keep the promise you made."
Bai Ye smiled and waved. "Don't worry—I'm way more reliable than America."
When Captain America stepped out, they learned his new power: air-control.
He can briefly bend nearby airflow to his will.
Combined with his Vibranium shield, that makes his attacks far more versatile and powerful.
After the last person awakened, Bai Ye dismissed the Mirror Dimension and everyone returned to the conference room in the real World.
With a wave of his hand, another metal case materialized on the table—slightly larger than the previous crate of serums.
"This is the standard enhancement serum."
Bai Ye tapped the lid; the case unfolded automatically, revealing hundreds of silver vials neatly arrayed inside.
"The effect is similar to Steve's super soldier serum—purely physical enhancement, no superpowers awakened."
Tony picked up a vial and held it to the light. "Shelf life?"
"Indefinite, but each person can only be injected once; repeated use causes genetic collapse."
Bai Ye produced a red crystal and set it beside the case.
"I developed this lie-detector with the Mind Stone. State your request to the crystal before use."
"It automatically screens out the unqualified—Skrulls, HYDRA moles, or psychopathic antisocials."
Natasha raised an eyebrow. "Nick Fury will love this thing."
"Same conditions." Bai Ye looked around and repeated his earlier terms.
"Injectees must swear allegiance to me; those who renege forfeit their enhancements."
He paused, then reminded them seriously: "The Universe right now… is anything but peaceful."
Tony nodded gravely. "Understood. I'll personally supervise the distribution."
Bai Ye smiled; seeing Tony grasp the stakes, he asked no more and flicked open a Portal.
"Contact me if anything comes up."
Golden sparks faded, and Bai Ye was gone.
With his departure, the conference room fell briefly silent.
Tony clapped his hands. "All right, Avengers overtime. Natasha, screen the field Agents…"
"Banner, upgrade the injection gear; Clint, test the crystal's lie-detection range; Peter…"
Little Spider, currently poking the crystal, jerked his head up. "Huh?"
"Go call Mary Jane." Tony patted his shoulder.
"Tell her you're pulling an all-nighter saving the World."
…Bai Ye's Villa, beachfront
Wanda and Susan were batting a two-ton boulder back and forth like a volleyball.
It wasn't just play; they were honing the fine control of their powers.
Using their abilities to keep the boulder intact while spiking it normally.
The rock whistled through the air, slammed into the sea, and sent up huge sprays—both of them delighted.
Bai Ye lay on a Sun-lounger, sunglasses on, iced juice in hand, watching them with a smile.
"Your imaginations are getting wilder, turning training into this," he murmured, sipping.
Wanda hovered, Scarlet Magic cradling the boulder. "Way more fun than fighting aliens!"
Susan blink-stepped in, caught the flying rock, and lobbed it lightly back.
"Bai Ye, want to join? I promise not to use my powers on you."
Before he could answer her reckless invitation—
a golden Portal bloomed on the beach, sparks dancing.
A man in a Red Cloak of Levitation, face haggard, strode out.
Wanda and Susan froze, eyeing the newcomer warily.
Bai Ye recognized him at once: the prime Universe's Doctor Strange.
He sat up, pulled off his shades, and studied him curiously:
"Stephen Strange? Looks like your Earth's in trouble."
Strange drew a weary breath. "Our Universe faces catastrophe. A self-proclaimed Divine Herald has arrived, claiming Earth as fodder."
"The Avengers have fallen, Wanda's missing, and without the Time Stone I can't stop him."
Strange spoke, haggard and solemn.
Bai Ye arched a brow. "Even the Avengers couldn't handle him?"
"He's too fast—interrupts my spells—strength immeasurable, and he absorbs energy," Strange said grimly.
"Out of options, we came to you."
"Luckily, the residual energy you left in our Universe let me track you."
Wanda and Susan exchanged glances and said together, "We're coming!"
Bai Ye waved them off. "Keep playing. I'll take a look and be right back."
Chapter 143
He stood up, casually placing the juice on the table, and nodded to Doctor Strange: "Lead the way."
Doctor Strange looked at him gratefully and opened a Portal again.
Bai Ye stepped in, his figure disappearing into golden sparks.
Wanda and Susan stood on the beach, watching the Portal close.
Susan crossed her arms: "How long do you think it will take him to come back?"
Wanda shrugged, tossing the boulder again: "Sounds like a pretty powerful person."13
"He should be fine." Susan raised her hand and hit the boulder high into the sky... Cinematic Universe, Avengers Base.
The atmosphere in the Base's hall at this moment could be described as extremely heavy.
Tony Stark, middle-aged, sat in the corner, his fingers gently tapping the table, his brow deeply furrowed.
His armor helmet lay beside him, still bearing scorch marks from battle.
Steve Rogers stood by the window, looking at the half-destroyed Base ruins outside, his expression weary.
Dr. Banner sat on the sofa, hands clasped, silent.
Thor leaned to the side, his body plump, wearing sunglasses, lacking his former arrogance.
Hawkeye Clint Barton bowed his head, his fingers unconsciously stroking the quiver Natasha once used.
Peter Parker sat nearby, hands clasped tightly, his voice a little nervous: "What do we do now?"
Everyone was at a loss for a moment, because what they needed to do before had already been done.
Thor gripped Stormbreaker, his deep voice breaking the silence: "Doctor Strange has gone to other Universes for help, but are we just going to wait? We are the Avengers!"
Tony remained silent, his gaze fixed on the table, as if calculating some possibility.
Steve took a deep breath, looking at the communicator Nick Fury had left behind.
He had pressed it countless times, but Carol Danvers still hadn't responded.
Steve said to Thor in a deep voice: "We have to find a way to hold him off, at least until reinforcements arrive."
"Hold him off?"
Falcon Sam Wilson heard this and a bitter smile appeared on his face.
"That guy is faster than light and can easily knock out Hulk with one punch. How are we supposed to hold him off?"
Black Panther TChalla crossed his arms and said in a deep voice: "Wakanda's army has already suffered heavy losses; a forced attack will only increase casualties."
Rhodes put down the building blocks in his hand and questioned: "Are we really just going to sit here and wait to die?"
Scott Lang and Wasp Hope exchanged glances. Scott gritted his teeth and said directly: "How about we try the Quantum Realm again? Maybe we can find a way?"
Banner shook his head, rejecting the idea: "It's too risky, and there's not enough time."
Just as everyone fell into deeper silence, a golden Portal suddenly opened in the center of the hall, sparks flying and space twisting.
Everyone instantly stood up, looking vigilantly at the Portal.
Doctor Strange stepped out first, his face solemn, but with a glimmer of Hope in his eyes.
Immediately after, a young man in black casual clothes, with a calm expression, walked out.
Bai Ye, hands in his pockets, looked around and quipped: "What day is it today? So lively? Everyone's here for a party!"
Everyone was stunned by his words.
Tony narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing him: "Bai Ye?" (See 35-40 for details)
Bai Ye shrugged, his tone relaxed: "I heard there's a divine messenger causing trouble here? I came to see which god it is."
Steve's tense nerves relaxed slightly, but he remained serious: "You, can you deal with him?"
Bai Ye smiled, not answering Steve's question, but looked at Doctor Strange: "Where is that guy now?"
Strange said in a deep voice: "New York City center. He's patrolling there. Soon, the entire Planet will be devoured by that big guy from outer space."
Bai Ye nodded, his gaze turning to the window. His Super Vision instantly penetrated the wall, locking onto the distant target.
"Alright, I'll go meet him."
As his voice fell, Bai Ye's figure suddenly vanished from the spot, leaving only an afterimage.
Peter Parker blinked, disbelievingly saying: "He, he just left?"
Thor gripped his battle-axe and laughed: "Looks like we're in for a show."
Tony took a deep breath, stood up: "Let's go, at least see with our own eyes how strong this guy really is."
After all, the last time Bai Ye ended the battle too quickly. He came here and snapped his fingers with six Infinity Stones, annihilating Thanos's Legion.
Steve nodded, picked up his shield, and shouted: "Avengers, assemble!"
Everyone quickly followed, heading towards the center of New York City.
Above New York at this moment, a black figure suddenly appeared.
Bai Ye hovered a thousand meters in the air, his Super Vision instantly locking onto the target.
A metallic humanoid creature on a silver surfboard was cruising above the city.
"Silver Surfer?"
Bai Ye raised an eyebrow, a 'just as expected' smile appearing on his face.
When Strange described it earlier, Bai Ye had already felt it sounded like the work of Galactus and his subordinate.
Now it seems it was indeed as he expected: Galactus and the Silver Surfer.
The next second, Bai Ye had teleported in front of the Silver Surfer.
The silver-white Cosmic Messenger was clearly startled. His surfboard immediately turned, and he vigilantly sized up this human who had suddenly appeared.
The Cosmic Surfboard beneath his feet vibrated slightly, seemingly adjusting its energy frequency.
The Silver Surfer's eyes locked onto Bai Ye, his voice hollow.
"You are not a creature of this Planet."
Bai Ye tilted his head, curiously looking at the mercury-like creature: "Not bad, good observation skills."
The Silver Surfer raised his hand, and a destructive ball of energy condensed in his palm.
"I am a messenger of a god. This Planet has been chosen as sustenance. Leave, or you too will be devoured."
After listening to the Silver Surfer's presumptuous words, Bai Ye burst out laughing:
"God? You mean Galactus? A pseudo-god who is always hungry and can't exert his full strength, acting so arrogant?"
"Is it really considering itself a Creator God?"
(Fun fact: Marvel doesn't have the so-called Five Great Gods; it has always been the Four Conceptual Gods – Eternity and these four. Galactus is a survivor from the destruction of the previous Universe. The 'Five Great Gods' were forcibly added by Chinese netizens.)
The Silver Surfer's pupils suddenly contracted, and his energy fluctuations became slightly chaotic: "You, you know us?"
Bai Ye shrugged, his Bio-Force Field lightly pressing his wristband.
nano armor instantly covered his entire body, with dark purple energy patterns flowing on the black armor.
The six Infinity Stones on his chest flickered slightly, emitting a suffocating pressure.
The Silver Surfer's surfboard abruptly retreated several meters, his voice for the first time carrying a hint of shock: "Infinity Stones?!"
"Correct, but no prize."
Bai Ye twisted his neck, saying with a grin: "Today, I'll have a good time playing with you."
Boom!!!
Bai Ye's figure suddenly vanished, and when he reappeared, his fist had already slammed heavily into the Silver Surfer's chest.
The Silver Surfer didn't even have time to react before he was sent flying backward.
He instantly crashed through several skyscrapers, steel and concrete exploding before him like paper!
"Holy-shit!!!"
The Avengers, who had just arrived on the battlefield, collectively widened their eyes, and Peter Parkerdirectly cursed.
Tony's armor mask suddenly popped open, and he said with a stunned expression:
"He just punched that guy, who could easily take Thor's Stormbreaker, flying?"
Thor gripped Stormbreaker, his single eye filled with shock: "This guy's strength is even more outrageous than Father's!"
Steve took a deep breath, mumbling: "What were we even worried about before?"
In the distance, the Silver Surfer slowly rose from the ruins, his silver-white body flickering slightly, seemingly repairing damage.
He looked up at Bai Ye, his voice finally carrying a hint of solemnity.
"Who exactly are you.?"
Bai Ye hovered in mid-air, the Infinity Stones on his armor glowing faintly, his tone still relaxed.
"Me? Just a passing god, remember that."
Hearing Bai Ye call himself a god, the Silver Surfer immediately looked up at Bai Ye hovering in the air, his voice for the first time filled with anger.
"How dare you..."
Before the Silver Surfer could utter any threats, Bai Ye lightly snapped his right fingers.
Snap!
The entirety of New York instantly twisted and deformed, reality shattering and reforming like glass.
The Avengers felt a blur before their eyes, and when they reopened them, the entire city had been pulled into the Mirror Dimension.
Skyscrapers hung upside down, streets folded and twisted, and shattered architectural debris floated in the void.
"Welcome to my domain."
Bai Ye spread his arms, the Infinity Stones on his armor shining brightly.
The Silver Surfer's surfboard suddenly trembled violently. He was astonished to find that his energy connection with Galactus had been severed!
"This is impossible!"
"Nothing is impossible. In the Mirror Dimension, I call the shots." Before Bai Ye finished speaking, his figure rapidly advanced.
The Silver Surfer's silver surfboard suddenly erupted with dazzling cosmic energy, turning the entire sky silver-white.
He raised both hands, and countless metal fragments floated up from the city ruins, transforming into a sky full of blades that shot towards Bai Ye!
Bai Ye chuckled, clenching his right fist, and golden Cosmic Solar Power surged forth.
Boom!!
With one punch, a violent wave of Cosmic Solar Power swept across the sky, instantly vaporizing all the metal fragments.
The aftermath even tore through the canopy of the Mirror Dimension, revealing twisted Dimensional Rifts.
The Silver Surfer's pupils contracted. His surfboard suddenly accelerated, and he transformed into a silver stream of light, charging straight at Bai Ye!
"Good!"
A hint of interest flashed in Bai Ye's eyes, and he didn't exploit the Silver Surfer.
He fought him using only his normal speed and strength, without the power of the Infinity Stones.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The two figures clashed wildly ten thousand meters in the sky, each exchange causing spatial tremors.
The Silver Surfer's cosmic energy directly impacted Bai Ye's normal body, and the Impact waves sent entire clusters of skyscrapers below flying.
The observing Avengers had to hide behind a half-collapsed building.
Chapter 144
"Is this really a battle humans can participate in?" Peter Parker's voice trembled.
Thor gripped his battle-axe, fighting intent boiling in his single eye: "Now this is a true God-level confrontation!"
Suddenly, Silver Surfer put his hands together, and a silver beam of light capable of piercing a planet shot out with a roar!
Bai Ye neither dodged nor avoided, casually drawing a Spatial Magic Array.
The Silver Surfer's beam was instantly space-transferred upon contact with Bai Ye, blasting straight through the Mirror Dimension's core!
The ground began to collapse, and countless streams of magma erupted!
"...Are you done playing?" Bai Ye teleported behind the Silver Surfer.
The power of the Reality Stone slightly augmented the power of the talisman—Transform!
Then, the Silver Surfer was horrified to find his surfboard had suddenly turned into a pink rubber duck.
"What?!"
Taking advantage of his distraction, Bai delivered a Whip Kick, sending him crashing down from ten thousand meters!
Boom!!!
A massive crater, a kilometer in diameter, was smashed into the surface of New York, and the Impactcontinually destroyed buildings.
The Silver Surfer slowly floated up from the ruins, the silver coating on his body already cracked.
He wiped the Cosmic Energy from the corner of his mouth, his voice carrying anger for the first time, and shouted:
"You've angered me, you blasphemer!"
As his voice fell, the Silver Surfer suddenly spread his arms; the entire Mirror Dimension began to twist as he forcefully extracted the dimension's energy!
"Oh? Going all out?"
Bai Ye cracked his neck, looking completely unconcerned. "In that case, let's finish this quickly."
The Silver Surfer quickly raised his hand, firing a Silver Energy Cannon.
Bai Ye neither dodged nor avoided, activating his Bio-Force Field. The Silver Surfer's energy cannon was instantly deflected back.
"What!?"
Seeing this, the Silver Surfer's face changed drastically. Before he could think further, Bai Ye had flashed behind him and delivered a fierce Elbow Strike to his back!
Boom!!!
The silver-white figure crashed toward the ground again, snapping the inverted Empire State Buildingin half.
But before the smoke and dust could clear, the Silver Surfer transformed into a silver light, soaring into the sky. His surfboard split into countless silver blades, shooting toward Bai Ye.
"Interesting. Try this."
As his voice fell, a scorching small Sun lit up behind Bai Ye.
Light of the Sun! Activate!
The small Sun transformed into a crimson beam of light sweeping across the sky, instantly vaporizing all the silver blades.
The residual energy melted the Statue of Liberty in the distance, severing it at the waist.
The Silver Surfer, who had been chased by Bai Ye, suddenly changed direction. His surfboard tore through the ground, carrying Bai Ye straight toward the Earth's core.
"Want to play tunnel warfare?"
Seeing this, Bai Ye directly modified the scenery of the Mirror Dimension.
As the Master who cast the Mirror Dimension, he naturally had the power to modify everything within the space.
The next second, the magma in the Earth's core suddenly solidified into crystal, and the Silver Surfer's surfboard was firmly frozen.
Bai Ye seized the opportunity and used an Uppercut to blast him out of the ground.
The two figures chased madly in the distorted Mirror Dimension; every collision caused Spatial Turbulence.
"Enough!"
The Silver Surfer suddenly stopped, condensing a Miniature Black Hole in his hands.
"Taste this!"
The black hole whistled as it flew toward Bai Ye, tearing space wherever it passed.
Seeing this, the watching Avengers' expressions changed drastically: "Is he going to destroy the entire dimension?!"
Faced with this terrifying attack, Bai Ye instead showed an excited smile, stating directly: "Now that's more like it!"
This was the first time Bai Ye had driven the Infinity Stones on his armor since engaging the Silver Surfer.
The Power Stone on the armor instantly burst forth with dazzling purple light.
Bai Ye pulled back his right fist, gathering all destructive energy into a single point, and then punched out.
Boom!!!!
The black hole was forcefully shattered by Bai Ye, and the terrifying Impact tore countless cracks in the Mirror Dimension!
The Silver Surfer's silver body began to disintegrate. He looked at his gradually fading arm in disbelief: "This is impossible!"
"Do me a favor and pass a message to that Galactus fellow."
Bai Ye instantly teleported in front of him, his eyes blazing with fierce red light.
"Earth is under my protection."
With the final punch, the Silver Surfer's figure completely dissolved into silver light particles, vanishing into the distorted dimension.
The Mirror Dimension slowly dissipated, and everyone returned to the real World.
The entire city of New York was completely unharmed; everything that happened seemed like it never occurred.
Tony Stark was the first to break the silence, asking doubtfully, "So... it's over?"
Bai Ye smiled and shook his head, stating directly: "Quite the opposite. This is actually the beginning. That was just a warm-up."
As Bai Ye's voice fell, the entire sky suddenly darkened.
The Avengers looked up simultaneously, seeing a shadow larger than the Earth slowly enveloping the horizon.
It was a gigantic mouth like an abyss, its edges flowing with dark purple energy that devoured stars.
"What is that?" Steve instinctively gripped his shield tighter.
Tony's armor alarms flashed wildly, and he couldn't help but shout:
"Friday, tell me that energy reading is wrong."
"Sir, reading error. The mass of that entity exceeds the count..."
Thor, standing nearby, watched his Stormbreaker automatically charge: "By the Gods above..."
Suddenly, a black afterimage flashed past them.
Bai Ye instantly breached the atmosphere, leaving a golden energy trail behind him.
In the dark Universe, Galactus's massive body nearly obscured half of the Solar System.
Galactus's massive mouth slowly opened. The Earth was minuscule before him, like a marble about to be swallowed.
Whoosh!
A black figure suddenly broke through the atmosphere. Bai Ye hovered in the vacuum of space, his eyes lighting up with dazzling red light.
"Hey, big guy."
Bai Ye's voice directly vibrated through the Universe via his Bio-Force Field.
"I'm protecting this place."
Buzz!!!
Out of respect for Uncle Tun, Bai Ye slightly activated a portion of the energy from the six Infinity Stones.
Bai Ye's eyes burst forth with a fierce light never seen before.
#Infinity-Heat Vision!
Two beams of light, wrapped in the energy of the six Infinity Stones, erupted with a roar.
Like the first ray of light at the dawn of the Universe, it instantly pierced Galactus's chest.
"Roar!!!"
This Cosmic Deity let out a deafening roar, his enormous body staggering backward.
He was forcefully blasted out of the Solar System by Bai Ye's strike, falling heavily.
The invincible Galactus has fallen again!
At this moment on Earth, all observation posts simultaneously sounded loud alarms.
The Avengers saw this scene via satellite footage and collectively turned to stone.
"He... knocked a God flying?"
Banner's glasses slid right down to the tip of his nose, nearly falling off.
Thor's beard was trembling as he shouted, "By Odin above."
...In the depths of the Universe
Galactus stabilized himself. A huge void had been burned into his chest, but it was healing at a visible rate.
Uncle Tun's eyes were fixed intently on Bai Ye before him, questioning:
"Who are you?! Why do you obstruct the Maintainer of Cosmic Balance from feeding?"
Bai Ye floated with his arms crossed, stating amusedly, "You're about to eat my home, and you ask me why?"
"I must feed!" Galactus's voice vibrated through space.
"This is the authority granted to me by Universal Law!"
Just as Bai Ye and Galactus were locked in a tense standoff... Boom!!!
Space suddenly tore open, and a gigantic figure descended.
He was entirely shrouded in scarlet radiance, every inch of his skin flowing with scarlet energy, and he wore a helmet identical to The Six Stones's.
That iconic Six-Tube Helmet already revealed his identity: Arishem the Judge of the Celestials.
"Galactus."
Arishem the Judge's voice carried a certain echo as he spoke to Uncle Tun:
"Leave this place. Earth is a Celestial testing ground, nurturing a nascent sibling."
Galactus, who was far from full, was clearly wary of Arishem the Judge, instinctively taking half a step back.
Bai Ye looked at Arishem the Judge's condescending posture and was completely amused.
"I mean, are you two serious?"
As he spoke, the Infinity Stones on Bai Ye's armor simultaneously lit up.
"One wants to eat, the other wants to raise a child. Did you ask the Earthlings for their opinion?"
Arishem the Judge looked down, scrutinizing the tiny human before him, and stated directly: "Lesser life forms have no right to choose..."
Bang!!!
Bai Ye suddenly flashed in front of Arishem the Judge, his Infinity Stone-enhanced fist smashing directly into his faceplate.
"How dare a weakling like you call someone a lesser life form in front of me?"
Bai Ye's punch made this Celestial giant stumble backward, causing cracks to appear on his facial armor.
Then, Bai Ye aimed his left hand at Galactus and locked his right hand onto Arishem the Judge, splitting the energy of the six Stones into two torrents.
Chapter 145
"Come on, let me see how strong you two False Gods are—follow me into the Black Hole and fight!"
Bai Ye seized Galactus and Arishem with the power of the Infinity Stones and dragged them into a Black Hole space he'd forged bare-handed.
In this pocket Dimension there was no light, no time—only endless chaos and warped gravity.
"You dare imprison a God?!"
Arishem's voice shook the entire plane; scarlet Celestial runes flowed across his cosmic-law-forged armor.
Galactus stood to the side, Fury written on his face.
"Lesser life-form, you've made a fatal mistake—here, none of us are bound by rules!"
Bai Ye hovered in the void; all six Infinity Stones on his armor blazed at once, energy swirling around him like a storm.
Hearing their boastful words, Bai Ye simply let out a cold laugh.
"Mistake?"
"Hmph—this is your grave."
Arishem struck first; his colossal palm slammed down, gathering star-shattering Judgment Force in its center.
Bai Ye didn't dodge or weave; energy gathered in his right fist as he punched out!
BOOM!!!
Two cosmic forces collided, ripping space inside the Black Hole; countless temporal rifts spread outward.
Galactus seized the moment, opened his titanic maw, and unleashed a torrent of energy.
Bai Ye's eyes sharpened; the Reality Stone flashed scarlet.
"Rewrite."
The devourer's energy torrent twisted, turning into countless pink bubbles that drifted through the void.
"What?!" Galactus stared, stunned.
"Your hunger—ineffective against me." Bai Ye flashed in front of him and punched.
BANG!!
Galactus was sent flying, smashing into the dimensional wall of the Black Hole and shaking the entire realm.
Arishem roared, clapped his hands together, and fired a Celestial Judgment Beam that pierced the Dimension toward Bai Ye!
"Die, insect!"
Bai Ye raised one hand; the Infinity Stones guarded him!
RUMBLE!!!
The beam was deflected, and the Black Hole Dimension began to collapse!
Galactus tore free from the gravitational maelstrom; rage drove him completely berserk!
"I'll show you true devouring!"
With those words his body ballooned, becoming a dark cosmic abyss from which even light could not escape.
Arishem also revealed his true Celestial form; a Judgment Sword condensed in his hand and slashed down.
"Cosmic law—obliterate!"
Watching the two go all-out, Bai Ye smiled faintly; all six Infinity Stones on his body blazed in unison.
"Forget it—I'm done playing."
"Let me show you what a real God looks like."
BOOM!!!!
In the next instant, the Black Hole Dimension Bai Ye had created exploded entirely!
The whole realm collapsed under the terrifying energy storm.
Time, Space, Reality, Soul, Power, Mind.
Six cosmic laws intertwined, turning into an apocalyptic light that annihilated everything.
Yet the power of the Infinity Stones kept repairing the Dimension.
The battle raged on; the Dimension shattered and mended again and again.
Only because Bai Ye wielded the Infinity Stones—anyone else would have been obliterated by these two long ago.
The main reason: Bai Ye's body could fully endure the Stones' backlash.
Put movie-Universe Thanos here and the first six-Stone energy burst would have hollowed him out.
Infinity Stones vary in strength depending on the user—the stronger the wielder, the greater the output, but never beyond the Stones' own ceiling.
Bai Ye could draw out their full power, whereas movie-Universe Thanos could not—that's the gap.
It's also why Galactus and Arishem weren't afraid when they saw Bai Ye holding all six Stones.
They simply didn't believe this mere mortal could fully drive six Infinity Stones.
Precisely because of their contempt, they ended up in their current plight.
The battle between the two cosmic Gods and Bai Ye had shredded this artificial Dimension to pieces.
Space cracked, temporal turbulence raged through the void, and the six Infinity Stones' energy still surged wildly across Bai Ye's armor.
Galactus panted heavily; his Energy Core dimmed with hunger, yet Fury still burned in his eyes.
"You… cannot overcome the laws of the Universe!"
Arishem was even angrier; his Celestial armor was already damaged, crimson cosmic energy spilling from wounds and condensing into brilliant nebulae in the void.
"Lesser life-form—you have provoked the majesty of the Celestials!"
Bai Ye hovered in the Dimension, the Infinity Stones on his armor blazing with fierce light.
'Inferior lifeforms? Majesty?'
Bai Ye chuckled and shook his head, slowly raised his hand, and said plainly:
'Before me, you're nothing but slightly stronger ants.'
Bai Ye's figure vanished; the next second his fist had punched through Arishem's chest.
Schluck!
Golden Celestial blood gushed as Arishem's pupils shrank; he stared down at his pierced body.
'Impossible!!!'
'Goodbye.'
Bai Ye said coldly, and the violet Power Stone light in his right fist erupted.
Boom!!!
Under the Infinity Stone's onslaught Arishem's body disintegrated inch by inch, finally scattering into countless motes of golden light and fading into nothingness.
Arishem the Judge—renowned among the Celestials—had fallen!
Galactus watched, the Fury in his eyes instantly replaced by terror.
'Monster—you monster!'
Without hesitation Galactus tore open the Dimension and fled.
'Hmph, think you can run?!'
Bai Ye's eyes sharpened; he was about to give chase when the Black-Hole Cage collapsed with Arishem's Death and Spatial Turbulence raged everywhere.
If Bai Ye did nothing, Earth and the entire Milky Way Galaxy would be destroyed.
With a wave of his hand the Space Stone's blue light flared, forcibly stabilizing the crumbling Dimension.
Yet that split-second pause let Galactus escape...
Seeing Galactus gone for good, Bai Ye clicked his tongue in annoyance, stepped out, and returned to Realspace.
Earth, outer space.
Bai Ye reappeared in Earth orbit, gazing down at the blue Planet.
'It's over.'
When the light faded the Black Hole was gone and the cosmos was silent once more.
Inside Avengers HQ the team stared at the satellite feed, stunned.
'It's over?' Peter Parker's voice trembled.
Tony Stark said shakily, 'He... he just erased two Cosmic Deities?'
Before anyone could react, Bai Ye materialized in the center of the Base.
The Avengers rose as one, awe in their eyes.
Steve Rogers stepped forward first and offered a solemn handshake. 'Bai, thank you for saving Earth.'
Tony Stark nodded. 'I hate to admit it, but you're ridiculously strong.'
Bai Ye waved it off. 'No need to state the obvious.'
'I was bored; heard there were Gods and came looking for some fun.'
Just then Doctor Strange approached, expression grave. 'Bai Ye, there's something you might help with.'
Bai Ye sensed his unease. 'What's wrong?'
Doctor Strange lowered his voice. 'It's about Wanda.'
'Wanda? Let's hear it.'
Bai Ye raised an eyebrow, thought a moment, and signaled him to continue.
Doctor Strange looked at him and began, 'Wanda's gone missing because...'
The more Bai Ye heard, the stranger it felt; the Timeline was correcting itself fast.
After Bai Ye had dealt with Thanos, the World returned to peace.
But with Thanos' arrival the Mind Stone was gone; Vision ultimately died, and in grief Wanda buried him.
Then one day the Avengers received an SOS from Nick Fury.
When they arrived they found Fury gravely wounded and evasive about what had happened.
Steve sensed something was off and finally forced out the truth.
Nick Fury had secretly founded something called S.W.O.R.D. and unearthed Vision's body for research!
When Wanda learned of it she lost control and tore through S.W.O.R.D.
The Avengers tried to stop her but were overwhelmed by her Chaos Magic.
In the end Wanda vanished with Vision's Remains; no one has seen her since.
After hearing this Bai Ye frowned. 'Looks like the Timeline's auto-correcting.'
Steve caught his doubt. 'You think there's more to it?'
Bai Ye nodded. 'Fury's annoying, but he's not that stupid.'
Tony narrowed his eyes. 'You mean...?'
'I ran into something similar in a parallel Universe of your World.'
Chapter 146
"Nick Fury in that Universe was replaced by a Skrull long ago."
"So I suspect the same is true for Nick Fury in your Universe, which is why he did such a stupid thing."
"Skrulls?" Everyone exclaimed in unison.
Thor suddenly stood up, his face changing drastically: "Wait, are you talking about those alien races that can shapeshift and imitate others?"
Bai Ye nodded: "That's right, they can not only copy appearances, but also imitate memories and abilities."
Now it wasn't just Thor; the expressions of the Avengers present instantly changed.
Tony's face was gloomy: "You mean, our Fury here might also be fake?"
Bai Ye shrugged, stating directly: "Whether he is or not, we'll know once we catch him and ask."
Before his voice faded, Bai Ye's figure suddenly vanished!
The next second, Bai Ye reappeared, carrying a terrified Nick Fury in his hand.
"Let me go! Are you crazy?!" Fury struggled and roared.
Bai Ye didn't bother with words and simply snapped his fingers.
"Reveal yourself."
Whoosh!
A green light flashed, and Fury's appearance melted, finally revealing a green Skrull face!
"What?!" The Avengers instantly erupted in anger at the sight!
Steve's shield was already raised, Tony's armor instantly covered his entire body, and Thor's lightning crackled on the Stormbreaker.
The Skrull looked at them in horror, trembling as he backed away, stating directly: "No, it's not my fault! I was just cooperating with Fury."
Tony stared at him coldly: "Tell us, where is the real Fury? Was Wanda's loss of control planned by you?"
The Avengers immediately surrounded him.
Talos struggled to sit up, his face flickering between expressions: "I, I can't say…"
Tony raised his arm, his repulsor glowing: "Looks like you need a little convincing."
Talos gritted his teeth, finally lowering his head in defeat, stating directly: "Fury is at the S.W.O.R.D.Base in outer space."
"What?!"
Scott laughed in extreme anger, clearly provoked.
"So we're fighting to the death here, and he's off being an interstellar Commander in outer space?"
"He said the crisis on Earth was no longer a big deal," Talos explained in a low voice. "He's going to protect more lives."
"Ha!"
Tony clapped sarcastically, praising:
"What a great spirit of sacrifice, treating us as his subordinates?"
Steve stared intensely at Talos, who was slumped on the ground: "How many Skrulls are there on Earth?"
Cold sweat seeped from Talos's green skin: "One million."
"What?!" Sam the Falcon suddenly stood up, incredulous: "One million aliens lurking on Earth?"
Tony's armor mask snapped shut, and his repulsor glowed again: "The list, now."
Just as everyone was shocked, Bai Ye suddenly raised his hand and grabbed.
Rhodes' body was suddenly pulled into mid-air by an invisible force!
"Bai Ye? What happened?" Captain America exclaimed.
Rhodes, suspended in the air, struggled frantically, shouting: "Let me go! Are you crazy?!"
Bai Ye didn't speak, but snapped his fingers, and a green light flashed, revealing yet another Skrull.
0.7 Hawkeye instinctively adopted a fighting stance.
Tony's mask snapped open, his face pale: "Rhodes, also fake?"
"Apparently so."
Bai Ye raised his hand and opened a golden Portal, from which a thin figure fell.
The real Colonel Rhodes fell from the Portal, controlled by Bai Ye to float in the air.
His legs were unnaturally bent, and his military uniform was tattered.
"Rhodes! Your legs…" Tony lunged forward, trembling as he helped his old friend up.
Rhodes coughed weakly: "I was locked in…the Base…"
Thor's axe erupted with thunder, and he roared in Fury: "These despicable crawling insects!"
(I suddenly thought that if the protagonist's Universe doesn't have this event, a parallel Universe could! The more I thought about this Secret Invasion content, the angrier I got, so I decided to write it out and utterly destroy them).
Just as the Avengers were seething with anger, a dazzling golden light suddenly streaked across the sky and crashed onto the open ground outside the Base!
"Where is the enemy?!"
As the golden light dissipated, Captain Marvel Carol Danvers hovered in mid-air, her fists burning with cosmic energy.
However, when Captain Marvel saw Talos lying on the ground, her face changed drastically, and she shouted: "Talos?! What are you doing here?!"
Captain Marvel swooped down, grabbing Talos by the collar and questioning loudly: "Where's Fury? What did you do to him?!"
Talos frantically waved his hands: "Carol, calm down! This is Fury's plan!"
"Plan?"
Hearing this, Carol's eyes blazed with even greater Fury.
"What kind of plan requires you to impersonate him and keep the Avengers in the dark?!"
Steve stepped forward and explained to her: "Carol, we just learned that Fury left Earth 13 long ago, letting Talos impersonate him to manage the secret organization."
Carol's expression shifted from anger to shock, finally settling into an unbelievable disappointment: "He kept it from even me?"
Tony folded his arms, sneering, and stated directly: "It seems our Supreme Commander trusts no one."
Talos slumped on the ground, facing Carol's angry gaze, he swallowed hard and said fearfully:
"This was a temporary plan between Fury and me, we just…"
"Temporary plan?"
Carol's voice was almost squeezed through clenched teeth.
"Letting a million Skrulls infiltrate Earth is also part of the plan? And they even replaced Rhodes." Tonysaid, arms crossed, with a mocking tone.
"What?!"
Carol suddenly turned to Talos, golden light flaring in her eyes.
"A million? Are you crazy?!"
Cold sweat seeped from Talos's green skin, and he avoided Carol's gaze, saying guiltily: "We, we need to ensure safety."
Carol laughed in extreme anger. She took a deep breath, suppressing her Fury, and looked at the Avengers, asking:
"So you called me back, where's the enemy?"
Steve pointed to Bai Ye, who was watching the show from the side, and stated directly: "He's already dealt with them."
Carol then carefully sized up Bai Ye. She could feel the faint, terrifying aura emanating from the black-haired man.
"So, this is the Bai Ye you mentioned?" Carol raised an eyebrow, asking the Avengers.
After receiving an affirmative answer, Carol gave a professional smile, extended her hand, and introduced herself: "Carol Danvers."
Bai Ye politely shook her hand, a hint of playfulness flashing in his eyes, and asked:
"Regarding these one million Skrulls, what do you think should be done?"
Carol glanced around.
She saw Steve's clenched jawline, the anger in Tony's eyes, and the indignant expressions of the other Avengers.
"This is an internal Earth matter."
Seeing this, Carol took a step back, crossed her arms, indicating she had no intention of getting involved.
"You handle it yourselves."
Hearing that his biggest reliance wouldn't help, Talos's face changed drastically: "Carol! You can't…"
Suddenly, Talos's arm glowed orange-red, and the Extremis energy instantly erupted.
"Die!"
Talos lunged at Bai Ye, his scorching hand-blade aimed straight for the throat.
Whoosh!
Two crimson Heat Visions flashed, and Talos's movement stopped abruptly.
A charred hole appeared between his eyebrows, the light in his eyes quickly dimmed, and finally, with a thud, he fell to the ground.
The Skrull who had been impersonating Rhodes was about to make a move but was instantly blasted into dust by a casual energy wave from Bai Ye.
Carol opened her mouth, but ultimately said nothing.
"Anything else?" Carol's voice returned to calm.
Everyone looked at each other, then shook their heads.
"Then that's that."
With a flash of golden light, Carol's figure vanished into the sky.
Carol hovered above the clouds, pulled out her interstellar communicator, and shouted to Black Egg on the other end: "Fury, we need to talk, immediately."
After seeing Carol off, Tony stared at the two Skrulls.
After a moment of silence, Tony looked up at Bai Ye and asked: "So, in that parallel Universe, how did they deal with the Skrulls?"
Bai Ye's expression was calm, and he lied without hesitation: "Needless to say? Direct extermination."
Upon hearing this, the entire hall fell silent for a moment.
Steve frowned, seemingly wanting to say something, but ultimately just tightened his grip on his shield and remained silent.
Banner pushed up his glasses, his voice low: "One million people, that's no small number!"
"But they've already replaced important figures on Earth, including core members like Rhodes."
Tony's eyes turned cold, and he spoke fiercely.
"If left unchecked, the consequences would be unimaginable."
Bai Ye didn't say much, merely conjured a few exquisite instruments with his bare hands and handed them to Tony.
"These are Skrull detectors. They can identify their biowavelengths, and you can mass-produce them."
Tony took the detectors and immediately had Friday scan and analyze them.
"Sir, this technology is very sophisticated." Friday's voice rang out.
"Based on biometric identification, it can theoretically be mass-replicated."
"Very good." Tony nodded, and said solemnly to Bai Ye: "Thanks."
Bai Ye waved his hand, saying dismissively: "It's nothing."
It was just a trinket he casually made, not worth mentioning.
Bai Ye paused, then added a suggestion to everyone:
"I suggest you directly disclose the existence of the Skrulls and let the whole World screen for them."
"Otherwise, relying solely on the Avengers, the efficiency will be too low."
Chapter 147
Tony pondered for a moment, then looked at Steve and asked, "Captain, what do you think?"
Steve took a deep breath, finally nodding, "The public has the right to know the truth."
"Alright, let's do it." Tony snapped his fingers.
"Friday, prepare a global announcement."
Seeing that the matter was settled, Bai Ye looked at the crowd and said:
"You handle this first. I'll go look for Wanda in this World."
"You're going alone?" Doctor Strange was somewhat worried.
"Her emotions are currently unstable, and the power of Chaos Magic..."
"Don't worry." Bai Ye smiled faintly. "I can handle it."
As his voice fell, his figure had already turned into an afterimage and vanished outside the Base.
Bai Ye arrived at the cloud layer and immediately locked onto an ancient small town thousands of kilometers away, shrouded in Scarlet Energy.
The Witch was suspended inside a small house, the darkhold slowly flipping open before her, with twisted Runes flowing across the pages.
Her eyes were tightly shut, her brow furrowed, and ominous dark red magic was swirling around her body.
That was the sign of using Dreamwalking.
"The darkhold again?" Bai Ye frowned slightly.
"But according to the plot, this The Thing shouldn't be appearing right now, should it?"
He no longer hesitated. His figure flashed, instantly crossing space and appearing above the small town.
The entire small town was enveloped by Chaos Magic, forming a Barrier that isolated it from the outside World.
Ordinary humans couldn't detect its existence, and even satellite scans would automatically ignore this area.
But for Bai Ye, this level of Barrier was useless.
Bai Ye raised his hand and lightly touched the Barrier. The red light of the Reality Stone flickered slightly, and the Barrier shattered like glass.
The moment Bai Ye broke the Barrier, the Witch suddenly opened her eyes.
"Who?!"
Her voice was no longer the gentle tone of the past, but carried a kind of inhuman echo, as if another entity was speaking through her throat.
Bai Ye slowly landed, standing before her, and said bluntly, "Stop. Don't do these meaningless The Things anymore."
The Witch, who had seen Bai Ye once before during the End Game, hesitated for a moment but finally recognized him.
"Bai Ye?"
Subsequently, a trace of struggle flashed in the Witch's eyes, but it was quickly swallowed by darkness.
"You shouldn't have come here."
The darkhold trembled violently, its pages flipping wildly, finally stopping on a specific page.
It depicted a figure shrouded in Chaos, identical to the Witch.
"This book is corrupting you." Bai Ye stated calmly. "Its promises to you are all lies."
"Lies?" The Witch laughed, her smile filled with madness.
"It showed me the truth. This World, all Worlds, are merely playthings of Chaos!"
Her hands suddenly lifted, and the entire house collapsed under the impact of Scarlet Magic!
In the dust and smoke, the Witch floated in mid-air, the power of Chaos Magic fully unleashed.
Her attire had changed; she was clad in Scarlet Robes, wore a dark crown, and her eyes were completely corrupted by Chaos.
"I will get my children back." The Witch's voice overlapped with countless echoes.
"Whoever stops me, dies!"
The entire small town began to collapse and restructure. Space was like crumpled paper, and the laws of physics were completely nullified at this moment.
Bai Ye sighed, the energy of the Infinity Stones circulating on his armor.
"I didn't want to resort to force, after all, I've already dealt with one wayward Scarlet Witch before."
Bai Ye waved his hand. The Mirror Dimension enveloped the two of them, and twisted streets and inverted cities restructured around them.
The Witch looked around. Scarlet Magic formed large energy fluctuations behind her. A trace of surprise flashed in her eyes, and she said bluntly, "You actually know magic?"
"A little bit."
Bai Ye replied lightly, the Infinity Stones on his armor flickering slightly.
He could tell this Witch was not simple; she wasn't the weakling from the Main Universe movies who could be crushed.
However, her strength is only just that!
After a brief exchange, the Witch waved both hands, and Chaos Magic swept forth, tearing the floor of the Mirror Dimension into pieces.
Bai Ye dodged sideways. Using Super Speed, he instantly teleported behind her and struck her back with a palm, intending to knock her soul out.
Snap!
However, this Witch's speed was clearly abnormal. She blocked with a backhand at extremely high speed, and her magic erupted.
Seeing this, Bai Ye retreated a few steps. He had roughly figured out her strength; the probing was over.
"I don't want to hurt you."
Bai Ye's tone was calm, and the orange light of the Mind Stone suddenly flared.
"Look at this."
A scene suddenly appeared before the Witch's eyes—scenes of Witches from other Universes.
At the same time, most importantly, Bai Ye also showed her the Scarlet Witch he had dealt with last time, who had been corrupted by the darkhold.
Furthermore, Bai Ye showed the Witch the new life that Scarlet Witch had lived after being set back on the right path by him.
"This..."
When the Witch saw this scene, her offensive suddenly stalled, and confusion appeared in her eyes.
"This is a Witch who was once misled by the darkhold, just like you. With my help, she started a new life."
"She proved with her own actions and hands that if you want true happiness, you must create it yourself, rather than relying on external powers."
The Witch's hands trembled slightly. The power of the darkhold clashed fiercely with her sanity.
The next second... "Ridiculous!"
The Witch's voice suddenly became distorted, and the darkhold's magic completely erupted.
"...You think you can shake me with this kind of illusion?"
The Witch sneered, violently tearing open a scarlet Multiverse Rift with both hands.
"I don't want happiness that is given as charity!"
After speaking, the Witch leaped into the rift. Bai Ye shook his head at the sight, then followed without hesitation.
Their figures wildly shuttled through the gaps between countless Universes.
They plummeted from high altitude into the deep sea, startling a group of glowing Aquatic Creatures.
Their figures smashed through the World Barrier; space shattered like a mirror.
They landed on a street, crashing through a large bus.
Before entering the next World, Bai Ye replicated the Fox God. A bell rang, and the bus was restored.
The next second, they broke through the cloud layer again, smashing onto a Floating Island.
Then, they smashed through the Barrier again, and their figures vanished once more.
The next second they arrived in a dark Universe, but their figures did not linger and vanished again.
Finally, space shattered, and they appeared above a stretch of scorched earth.
Dust flew up. Bai Ye and the Witch simultaneously floated up, looking around.
Before them was a battlefield that was both familiar and strange to Bai Ye.
Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk... and another Hulk.
On the other side were the X-Men. Wolverine's claws were unsheathed, and Cyclops's energy was ready to fire.
There were also members of the Fantastic Four. Human Torch was burning in mid-air, and The Thingwas beating his chest.
There were even figures like Blade and Ghost Rider.
Opposite them, Thanos's Army covered the sky and earth, and the Black Order, including Corvus Glaiveand Proxima Midnight, were standing ready.
Clearly, this was yet another classic End Game.
It was just that the participating heroes in this particular World were a bit numerous.
Everyone present was stunned for a moment, looking simultaneously at the suddenly appearing Bai Yeand the Witch.
The Witch's gaze instantly locked onto Vision in the crowd, and she excitedly rushed over: "Vision!"
The Witch of this Universe immediately blocked Vision, Chaos Magic surging as she stopped her: "Stop!"
Vision looked at the Witch warily and stated bluntly, "You are not the Witch I know."
Hearing this, the Witch immediately froze in place, motionless.
Thanos finally lost his patience at this point, raising his Double-Bladed Battle Knife: "Enough! All forces adva—"
"Shut up!!"
The Witch suddenly turned around, and terrifying Chaos Magic instantly erupted!
Thanos didn't even have a chance to react. Like someone by the roadside, he was instantly torn to shreds by Scarlet Energy and scattered as dust.
For a moment, the entire scene fell into dead silence.
A war that should have been grand and brutal ended inexplicably just like that.
The cigar in Wolverine's mouth dropped straight to the ground, and he shouted in shock, "What the hell!"
Iron Man's faceplate popped open: "Well, is the problem solved?"
Looking at the Witch, who was clearly a bigger problem, Bai Ye spoke up to warn her, "Madam Witch, stop being controlled by the darkness!"
"What do you know!"
The Witch shrieked hysterically, tearing open another Multiverse Rift at inhuman speed.
"No one can understand my pain!"
With that, the Witch leaped in once more, and Bai Ye followed closely behind.
The moment the rift closed, only the bewildered heroes remained on the battlefield.
Steve scratched his head, hesitating, "So... we won?"
Thor looked around and said foolishly, "Looks like it."
Wolverine picked up his cigar and shrugged, "At least we don't have to fight anymore."
...Inside the Universe Gap, Bai Ye and the Witch's figures were wildly jumping between countless Universes.
Chapter 148
During this period, Bai Ye witnessed many magnificent scenes of the Universe.
Finally, in a certain Universe, a certain small town.
A Scarlet Energy vortex tore open a rift in the air, and Bai Ye and the Witch successively fell into this peaceful World.
Sunlight streamed through the curtains into the cozy living room, where a Witch in an apron was making muffins with two boys at the dining table.
The sweet scent of maple syrup wafted in the air, and cartoons played on the TV.
Seeing the Witch's appearance, the two children retreated in terror.
The Witch stood still, her hand trembling as she reached out: "I, I just..."
"Mom!" Tommy hid behind the other Witch in fear.
"Don't come over!"
The Witch of this World protected her children, her eyes full of vigilance.
"Whatever you are, leave my home!"
The Witch's fingertips froze in mid-air for a moment as she looked at her other self.
The peaceful, ordinary life she dreamed of, the happiness within reach.
Crack.
The darkhold's chains completely broke at this moment.
The pages turned without wind, and the grinning face on the cover whispered.
"They will never accept you, but we can create a World that belongs to you."
The Witch's pupils were completely swallowed by crimson, and Chaos Magic erupted instantly!
Boom!
The entire house disintegrated instantly, and the surrounding scenery twisted and reorganized, turning into a crimson domain.
The lawn became a blood-red wasteland, and black cracks tore through the sky.
The two screaming children and the other Witch were protected by Bai Ye's gem power, resisting this eruption.
"Is Chthon's clone finally going to make a move?" Bai Ye formed hand seals, ready to act.
Suddenly, a Portal made of golden sparks opened next to Bai Ye.
A white-bearded old man appeared, stepping out with his white robe fluttering, the eye of agamottohanging on his chest glowing green.
"This Universe can't stand your antics." He stroked his beard and nodded to Bai Ye.
"Sorcerer Supreme Ancient One, it's a pleasure to meet you, my friend."
Bai Ye nodded slightly: "Bai Ye."
Ancient One turned her gaze to the frantic Witch, sighing: "Child, how long will you remain deluded?"
"Why do they get to have happiness?!" The Witch's shriek caused the domain to violently shake.
The Witch instantly attacked, and violent energy swept towards the old man Ancient One.
But he merely waved his hand gently, and a magic shield opened, easily blocking the violent magic.
Bai Ye was not surprised by this; the moment he saw the old man Ancient One appear, he knew his strength was not weak.
Sorcerer Ancient One formed hand seals, and the light of the Time Stone enveloped the entire scene.
"Because true happiness is never plundered by magic."
He gently waved his hand, and the frozen scene of the happy family flowed like a revolving lantern.
The scene of the other Witch secretly weeping alone late at night.
The frantic rush when the children had a fever, and even mortgage bills and marital quarrels.
"You see, no one can have a perfect life; you can't just see what's in front of you." The old man Ancient One's voice was gentle.
Watching all this, the Chaos Energy around the Witch suddenly froze.
A tear rolled down her crimson eyelid, evaporating into mist before it hit the ground.
The darkhold let out a piercing shriek: "He's lying to you! Kill them!"
Bai Ye suddenly flashed in front of the Witch, pressing his finger on her forehead.
No attack, only the gentle orange light of the Mind Stone.
The image of the fallen Witch who became herself again, which he had shown her before, reappeared.
At this moment, the darkhold began to tremble violently, its pages burning wildly.
"No! She's mine..."
Sorcerer Ancient One suddenly threw out her floating cloak, and the green light from the eye of agamotto firmly bound the divine book.
Bai Ye also reached out, and the power of the Reality Stone flickered.
"You are the one who should disappear, Chthon's clone!"
Crack!
With a crisp shattering sound, the darkhold turned into ashes and dissipated under Bai Ye's power.
The crimson in the Witch's eyes quickly receded, and she collapsed to her knees, tears finally gushing out: "What have I done?"
Sorcerer Ancient One turned and walked towards the Portal, her white robe fluttering, saying to Bai Ye: "The rest is up to you, outsider."
As the golden sparks dissipated, the crimson domain also began to collapse.
Bai Ye used Telekinesis to lift the exhausted Witch, allowing her to take one last look at the suburban house that had returned to normal.
The Witch in the apron was confusedly touching her face, and the two children were innocently licking the syrup off their muffins.
The spatial rift opened again, this time it was the way home.
Movie Main Universe 19999, a certain seaside location.
Bai Ye stood with the unconscious Wanda on a deserted beach.
"illusion dream, buy a seaside Villa suitable for solitary living." Bai Ye instructed illusion dream.
"Processing, Master." illusion dream's voice came from Bai Ye's wristband.
"Transaction completed, coordinates sent."
Almost the same second illusion dream finished, Bai Ye's figure appeared in front of a pure White seaside Villa.
The smart door lock recognized the new Master's biological signal, and the door silently slid open.
Bai Ye placed the Witch on the soft sofa, sunlight spilling through the floor-to-ceiling windows onto her pale face, her eyelashes trembling slightly.
He stretched out his hand, and a warm golden light emanated from his palm.
Healing power slowly flowed, repairing her body and mind damaged by the overexertion of Chaos Magic.
A few seconds later, the Witch's brows relaxed, and her breathing became steady.
She slowly opened her eyes, her blurred Vision gradually focusing on Bai Ye.
"Where, where is this?" Her voice was a little hoarse.
"Your new home." Bai Ye poured a cup of Water and handed it to her.
The Witch propped herself up and looked around.
An open-plan kitchen, glass doors leading to a private beach, and unwrapped abstract paintings hanging on the living room wall—everything was as new as a model house.
"Thank you." The Witch lowered her head, her fingers unconsciously caressing the cup. "I'm sorry, because of my willfulness..."
Bai Ye sat opposite her, interrupting: "Let bygones be bygones."
He snapped his fingers, and a thick ancient book appeared out of thin air, with golden runes flowing on its cover.
"Kamar-Taj Secret Manual Revised Edition"
"If you want to achieve self-mastery and happiness." Bai Ye placed the book on the coffee table.
"Then systematically learn magic. The potential of Chaos Magic is far greater than you imagine; you'll know once you can fully control it."
"If you don't understand anything, go find Strange of your Universe; he will guide you."
"You must remember that the power of Chaos Magic can reshape Reality, not by the curse of the darkhold, but by your own will."
The Witch trembled as she touched the spine of the book. The moment her fingertips touched the runes, a wisp of Scarlet Energy spontaneously wrapped around it, resonating with the magic in the book.
Tears silently fell, splashing tiny specks of light on the cover of the ancient book.
Bai Ye got up and walked to the balcony, raising his hand to open a Portal to his own Universe.
Golden sparks flickered, and on the other side was Bai Ye's Villa.
"Are you leaving?" the Witch suddenly asked.
"Yes, someone is waiting for me there." Bai Ye said without looking back.
The Witch clenched the corner of the book and said firmly: "Thank you, I will definitely Master this power."
Hearing this, Bai Ye turned back and smiled, saying directly: "You're welcome."
When the Portal closed, the Villa fell silent, with only the gentle sound of the waves.
The Witch took a deep breath and slowly turned to the first page of the ancient book.
"The origin of magic begins in the heart, not in form."
Outside the window, the setting sun dyed the sea golden-red, just like the rekindled light in her eyes.
(I've given Wanda a relatively good ending. The screenwriter of 'Doctor Strange 2' is truly despicable; 'WandaVision' built her up so well, and then they completely overturned it, gave her a dark transformation, and even killed her off. I'm truly speechless...)
Bai Ye Universe, Villa
The golden Portal slowly dissipated in the center of the living room, and Bai Ye's figure emerged from it.
On the sofa, Wanda and Susan were lazily leaning together.
They were wearing cool home shorts and camisoles, their smooth legs resting on the coffee table.
An old movie was playing on the TV, but their attention was on the TV and they didn't notice Bai Ye's arrival.
"dear!"
Wanda was the first to spot him, her eyes lighting up, and she sprang directly from the sofa.
She ran over barefoot in a few steps, jumping onto him like a koala, wrapping her legs around his waist.
"You're finally back!"
Bai Ye chuckled as he held her, pecking her lips: "Miss me?"
"You guess."
Wanda said this, but her eyes sparkled with love.
Susan slowly walked over, smiling as she looked at the two...0
Although Susan also wanted to do so, she always presented herself as rational, so Susan stopped the impulse.
Susan, like a thoughtful wife, considerately handed Bai Ye a glass of iced lemonade and asked: "How was the trip?"
"It was alright." Bai Ye took the Water glass, and then the three of them collapsed onto the spacious sofa.
Wanda curled up on his left side like a cat, playing with the corner of his clothes, and curiously asked:
"Quick, tell me, which Universe did you go to save this time?"
Bai Ye took a sip of Water and said lightly:
"I fought a big guy called Galactus, and by the way, killed a pseudo-God of the Celestials."
"Celestials?"
