The seven Dragon Balls glowed like burning suns, their combined radiance stretching high into the skies of Namek. The air itself began to tremble, and soon, a column of golden light erupted from the orbs. Shadows twisted and stretched as the sky turned dark, and the mighty, towering form of the eternal dragon Porunga rose above them, his massive green scales shimmering with raw divine power.
Porunga's booming voice echoed across the land, shaking the heavens:
"I am Porunga. State your wishes, and I shall grant three of them."
Dende stepped forward with confidence. Having already learned the truth from Trunks, he knew what needed to be done. Unlike the first time he had ever summoned Porunga, this time there was no hesitation in his heart. Speaking in the sacred Namekian tongue, his voice rang out clear and commanding as he made the first wish.
"Porunga, restore all the lives lost on Earth because of the Androids 17 and 18, and repair the destruction they caused!"
Porunga's blazing eyes flared red as he responded in his thunderous voice:
"Your wish has been granted. The human civilization of Earth, and all damages caused by the Androids, have been completely restored."
At that very moment, across Earth, light burst forth like dawn breaking after eternal night.
The ruins of cities rebuilt themselves—collapsed skyscrapers reformed, glass reassembled piece by piece, highways and bridges stretched whole again. Burnt forests grew lush with life, rivers began to flow in their rightful courses, and every scar on the planet's surface healed in seconds.
Then, in homes, streets, and battlefields, those who had perished opened their eyes once more. Families gasped as lost loved ones suddenly appeared at their doors. Children cried as their parents embraced them, and survivors who had thought themselves utterly alone screamed with joy as their neighbors returned to life.
On the outskirts of one small ruined town—now rebuilt in an instant—farmers dropped their tools and wept, falling to their knees, overwhelmed by the miracle. In the cities, crowds flooded into the streets, laughter and tears filling the air.
And within Capsule Corporation, Bulma dropped the tools in her hand as she felt an energy sweep through the Earth. She ran outside, and in disbelief, she saw Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Krillin—alive again, standing with astonishment on their faces.
Krillin looked around in shock, his voice breaking. "W-we're back…? I'm alive?"
Bulma covered her mouth with trembling hands as tears streamed down her cheeks. She couldn't even speak, so overwhelmed with relief.
Even more, somewhere far across the globe, Goku's lifeless body stirred. His chest rose suddenly as his breath returned. His eyes snapped open, clear and determined, and he sat up, clutching his chest. The deadly heart virus that had taken his life was gone—erased by Porunga's divine power.
He blinked and whispered in disbelief: "Chi-Chi… Gohan… I'm back…"
The first wish had changed everything.
Back on Namek, Trunks' eyes widened in shock as he felt the sudden shift in energy. His heart raced, tears filling his eyes. "They're alive…! Everyone's back…!"
Rudra smiled calmly beside him, though his heart too was moved. "Yes… Earth has been given another chance."
Porunga's voice rumbled again, pulling their attention back:
"Two wishes remain."
Rudra turned to Dende and gave him a knowing nod. "For the second wish… ask Porunga to supply ten full rounds of fuel for the Time Machine. Have it delivered directly to Bulma's laboratory on Earth. That way, she'll never need to struggle again for resources to keep the machine running."
Dende raised his hands and once more spoke in Namekian tongue, his voice echoing into the heavens as he relayed Rudra's request.
Porunga's mighty eyes glowed red again as he answered:
"It is done. The Earth scientist Bulma now has all the fuel she needs to power the Time Machine for ten full journeys."
At Capsule Corp, Bulma jumped back as a massive sealed container of shimmering energy cores materialized in her laboratory, glowing softly with limitless potential. She gasped, recognizing instantly what they were. "This… this is Time Machine fuel! And not just a little—this is enough for years!"
She covered her face with her hands, laughing and crying at once. "Rudra… Trunks… you've really done it…"
On Earth, joy spread like wildfire. Survivors embraced one another, warriors returned from death, and the skies felt brighter than they ever had before. The dark shadow that had hung over humanity for so long was finally lifted.
Back on Namek, Dende looked up at Porunga, his young heart swelling with hope and pride. He turned to Trunks and Rudra. "Two wishes have been granted. Earth's people live again, and Bulma now has the fuel she needs. Only one wish remains… What shall we do with it?"
