Chapter 149 - CH 149 : Who Are YOU?

The twin suns of Planet Namek bathed the emerald fields in a soft, divine glow. Lakes shimmered like liquid glass, their surface reflecting the calm skies above. Amidst this serene landscape, the faint hum of divine energy pulsed — steady, rhythmic, and alive.

Here, in the heart of a small Namekian village, stood a spherical house made of white stone and smooth curves — a structure the Namekians called their "camp." Inside it, Rudra sat cross-legged, eyes closed, his body still from hours of meditation. His breathing was deep, measured, and each exhale carried a subtle glow of golden chakra that rippled through the air.

Far away, across realms unseen by mortal eyes, East Supreme Kai — Shin — watched in silence. Floating islands of white stone surrounded him in the Sacred World of the Kais, where endless cherry clouds drifted through the divine skies. A magical crystal hovered before him, radiating the faint images of the living world — Earth, the Otherworld, and now, the calm form of Rudra on Namek.

Shin's usually composed face showed concern. His violet eyes narrowed slightly as he gazed at the crystal's shifting vision — first showing Rudra, then the monstrous figure of Cell, whose bio-energy spread destruction across solar systems.

The Kai spoke softly, almost to himself, "This mortal… Rudra. He holds power I've never sensed before — something ancient, spiritual, unrefined yet vast."

Beside him stood Kibito, tall and stoic, his arms folded. Though loyal to his master, Kibito could not see mortals as Shin could; his divine vision wasn't attuned to the lower realms. So Shin had conjured the magical crystal for him — a divine artifact that projected every corner of the living world.

Shin glanced toward his attendant. "Kibito… tell me. Do you believe this mortal can defeat that creature — that monster Cell?"

Kibito's red eyes studied the crystal. He watched the image of Cell tearing through space — destroying planet after planet — and then turned to Shin.

"Lord Shin," he began calmly, "this creature is indeed powerful… perhaps even dangerously close to divine-level energy. But we should not interfere. Remember — mortals created this being. Their arrogance and their science birthed the monster. It is only fair that mortals themselves bear the burden of ending it."

He paused, then added with quiet reasoning, "And besides, as of now… Cell is not yet a direct threat to the universe. His destruction is local, random — not deliberate against divine order."

Shin didn't respond immediately. His gaze lingered on the crystal, which now displayed Rudra sitting in still meditation — the air around him vibrating faintly with unseen chakra waves.

"And yet," Shin murmured, "you can feel it too, can't you? His aura… this mortal carries something different. It's not mere ki or divine essence. It's… ancient."

Kibito frowned slightly. "If that is so, then perhaps he has a role yet to play. But whether he succeeds or perishes — that, my lord, only time will tell."

Shin's lips curved into a faint smile. "Then we shall wait and watch, Kibito. The threads of destiny are moving once again."

Meanwhile, back on Planet Namek, the gentle hum of Rudra's meditation deepened. His chakra spiraled inward — moving through invisible channels that connected body and soul.

Inside his mind, Rudra drifted through a vast inner realm — an ocean of light and darkness. He was trying to enter the second stage of awakening, to cross the veil between thought and pure awareness.

'The lowest chakra,' he thought silently, 'is the Root Chakra, the one tied to lust and survival. It awakens when one conquers base desire and learns to see beyond mortal craving…'

A pause.

'But to overcome desire, one must first understand — who am I? As an Atman, what am I truly?'

His thoughts grew deeper, more rhythmic. 'Then comes the Sacral Chakra, the sixth gate of awakening. It blooms when hunger — the endless want of the mind — is transcended. But for that, I must enter a state where I can truly feel my Atman — not just think of it, not imagine it, but experience it. I thought near-death would help me reach that clarity… yet even after all the battles, all the deaths I've seen — I still haven't found it.'

His eyelids fluttered open. The quiet camp filled his vision — green light pouring through the round window. A group of Namekians walked past outside, their calm presence blending perfectly with the planet's aura.

And among them, entering the camp, was Dende — the young Namekian.
