Chapter 88 - When Hulk Met the Pacifier

Chaos reigned in the sky carrier's corridor. Controlled Agents attacked each other, turning it into a living hell, their eyes bloodshot. Coulson protected Dr. Banner, his hands gripping the collar of an Agent's uniform, desperately fending off the charging enemies. With one hand shielding Banner and the other skillfully wielding a self-defense weapon, he calmly and sharply repelled those who tried to get close.

Banner was drenched in sweat at this moment, his fingers trembling slightly. A look of pain was etched on his face, and the Hulk deep within him was struggling constantly, as if just a hint of losing control would unleash that untamable green power.

"Damn... damn... Hulk..." Banner gripped his hair with both hands, his voice a broken whisper, "Can't let... Hulk come out... I can't... Coulson... he'll..." Banner's body shook violently, as if he was making a final struggle against the Hulk's instincts.

In his mind, the Hulk's voice roared like thunder: "Banner, let me out! These people can't protect you at all, they'll only get you hurt. Let me do it—I'll take care of them!" The Hulk's voice carried an impatient desire for destruction, as if just one more stimulus would completely take over.

"I can't... Hulk, you'll hurt Coulson! He's protecting me, I can't..." Banner replied painfully, his fingers trembling in the air, trying to suppress the surging power within him.

"Are you afraid of me, Banner? Or are you afraid I'll do better than you?" The Hulk's voice was mocking, low and powerful.

At this moment, Coulson was dealing with waves of attacking Agents. Hearing Banner's broken whispers, a flicker of worry appeared in his eyes. While fighting off the enemies, he urged anxiously, "Doctor, hold on! We'll get through this!"

Just then, Dominic walked over with Blonsky. Dominic grinned at Blonsky, patted his shoulder lightly, and said teasingly, "Blonsky, why don't you lend a hand? Don't let Coulson do all the work. Come on, transform and take care of these 'small fries'!"

Blonsky nodded without hesitation, took a deep breath, his muscles rapidly expanded, and his skin began to turn pale black

. A few seconds later, the powerful body of the Abomination appeared in the corridor. He lowered his head to look at the surprised Coulson, a slight smirk on his lips, with a hint of disdain: "Don't worry, I'm not a child like the Hulk. When I act, I'm much more measured."

Coulson stepped back a few paces, unable to help but murmur, "Looks like I've really run into the 'big league', two 'Hulks'." But he immediately turned to the Abomination and said, trying to sound calm, "Either way, just protect Dr. Banner."

The Abomination sneered, then threw a punch, instantly sending several charging Agents flying, "Naturally, little Agent, you just step back."

Dominic took the opportunity to walk up to Banner, arms crossed, looking at him with a playful expression: "Hey, Banner, what's wrong? Your 'little friend' Hulk seems a bit impatient, shouldn't he come out for some air?"

Banner gritted his teeth, struggling to force out words, his tone filled with considerable pain: "Dominic... Nick, don't... don't joke... Hulk comes out... will... will lose control..." His voice was intermittent, as if he was in a fierce tug-of-war with the Hulk inside him.

"Oh, Banner, so afraid of losing control? Little Hulk can't always be hidden in this cramped body of yours!" Dominic teased, a mischievous smile playing on his lips.

Banner couldn't help but glare at him, growling intermittently, "I'm... I'm trying to control... Hulk isn't... as simple as you think... and... I don't want to hurt you!"

"Hurt us? Hey, Banner, we're the Avengers, a little green light isn't going to scare us, is it?" Dominic continued to tease half-jokingly, "Besides, if nothing happens to your little body, that big guy Hulk won't get a chance to practice, right?"

Banner struggled to maintain his sanity, but the Hulk's voice continued to echo in his mind: "Let me go, Banner! You're struggling in weakness, but I can help you get rid of all this! Let me!"

Just as the tug-of-war between Banner and the Hulk reached its peak, Coulson ran back to Banner, panting, and looked at him anxiously: "Doctor, hold on! Don't let him succeed!"

Banner nodded weakly, trying to calm down, while Dominic gently patted his shoulder, saying with a smile, "Calm down, Banner, don't always let Hulk 'yell' to come out. If you need a 'calming formula', I can offer a little prank to lighten the mood."

Banner looked at him with a face full of helplessness, his voice intermittent and full of struggle: "I don't... need any pranks... as long as... Hulk doesn't come out... I'll be..."

"Hey, he's not coming out, he's not coming out." Dominic spread his hands, an indifferent expression on his face, "Alright, alright, we don't want to see a 'Hulk crashing the ship' scene on the sky carrier. As for your 'little friend', just soothe him well."

In the chaotic corridor, the Agents had been knocked down one by one by the Abomination, lying on the ground completely defenseless. Coulson breathed a sigh of relief, but still didn't dare to relax, his eyes nervously scanning the surroundings. Meanwhile, Banner was still struggling, the Hulk's power inside him almost breaking free, as if it would burst through the restraints in the next second.

Just then, Dominic smiled slightly and took out a bottle of iced cola from behind him, which surprisingly had a pink pacifier inserted into it. He waved the bottle, his tone full of mischief: "Hey, Banner, look at this. This is the best little trick to calm someone down."

Before Banner could react, Dominic quickly put the pacifier to his mouth, "Come on, come on, don't be shy, little Hulk, have some cola to calm down?"

Banner's eyes widened, he wanted to resist but was forcibly "cooperating" due to the Hulk's control reaction. His mouth opened, and he was forced to take a big gulp of cola, drinking with a "gurgling" sound. Instantly, Banner's body stiffened, anger and breakdown mixed on his face, that helpless expression seemed to be accusing: "You truly are the most absurd guy in the entire Universe!"

Dominic couldn't help but chuckle, spreading his hands: "Don't be like that, Banner. I'm doing this for your 'emotional control', drinking cola is much better than the Hulk smashing this broken ship."

The Hulk's power subsided slightly, but it was still struggling. Banner groaned in pain while trying to free himself from the pacifier, glaring at Dominic with resentful eyes. But Dominic completely ignored his accusations, and even deliberately said in a teasing tone: "What's with that expression? I'm here to help you relax. See, just like some leaders who like to be a dignified Dominic while chewing on a pacifier."

Banner struggled to put down the pacifier, squeezing out a few words with difficulty: "I... don't... need... this kind of help!"

Dominic shrugged, putting on an innocent look: "Hey, that's their patent, I don't want to be accused of imitating. Besides, letting the Hulk drink cola to relieve anger? That's truly black technology in the field of healing."

Banner's face was full of helplessness, he lowered his voice and roared: "You think this is... help?!"

"Don't you think this fits the current situation on Earth? Bringing up inexplicable props when things are serious, it would be weird if the Hulk didn't lose control." Dominic narrowed his eyes, his tone carrying that feigned concern and mockery, "But don't worry, when you really need it, next time I'll bring a pacifier for the Hulk, one for you on Earth, one for him, the great leader and the Hulk sharing a special pacifier, wouldn't that picture be perfect?"

Banner took a deep breath, trying to quell the anger in his heart, but clearly, this move only made the Hulk want to come out more. His body trembled violently, his fingers gripping until they were white, seemingly suppressing the Hulk who was about to erupt. But he still couldn't help but glare at Dominic: "You... don't understand... my problem at all!"

"Oh? Problem? Don't act so profound, Banner." Dominic smiled even happier, as if he had discovered new fun, "In my eyes, this is like an adult taking care of a child, one can't stand it, a bottle of cola and a pacifier solves it perfectly."

Banner struggled to free himself from the control of the cola, finally taking a deep breath and trying to calm down. But he still couldn't quell the overwhelming anger in his heart, he glared fiercely at Dominic, gritting his teeth and saying, "Someday when someone 'helps' you calm down like this, I will definitely remind you of these words."

Coulson had just subdued the last resisting Agent, and turned around just in time to see this scene. He couldn't help but glance at Dominic with a face full of confusion: "Uh... Dominic, is this... really your method?"

Dominic shrugged and grinned: "Of course, quite effective, right? Someday when you, Coulson, desperately need to calm down, why not give it a try? I can even give you an upgraded version, how about one with chocolate flavor?"

Coulson sighed helplessly and shook his head: "I'll still thank you for your kindness."
