Chapter 171 - The King of Riot Arrives

Scream hid in the shadows on the third floor of the parking garage. It was deathly quiet around, with only the faint sounds of gunshots and Screams from afar breaking the brief calm.

Her gaze was fixed on the battlefield, her sharp claws lightly scraping against the metal railing, producing a grating screech. A bloodthirsty smile hung on her lips, and she looked like a fierce beast waiting for the perfect moment to hunt.

But suddenly, she sensed something was wrong. One of the trio—that dangerous Asian man—had disappeared. She frowned, her sharp senses sweeping around, but she found nothing.

"Looking for me?" Dominic's voice came from behind her, low and carrying a cold, mocking tone.

Scream spun around abruptly, her sharp claws sweeping out, accompanied by a piercing sonic blast. The intensity of the sound wave was enough to shatter nearby car windows and even twist rebar into bent scrap metal.

Dominic stood not far away, his expression indifferent, the air around his body slightly distorted. He remained still, hands in his pockets, letting the sonic impact form rippling circles in front of him. The power of the sound wave struck the invisible barrier around him, but it had no effect, like wind blowing over a rock.

"A bit interesting," Dominic tilted his head slightly, as if evaluating a shoddy product, "But is that all you can do?"

Scream let out a low growl and lunged forward, her claws flashing with lightning speed, the tips tearing through the air with a piercing whoosh. Her attacks were wild and fierce, completely abandoning defense, every move aimed directly at Dominic's vital spots.

Dominic easily sidestepped, dodging her attack. His movements were fluid and elegant, as if he had already seen through her every action. He even had time to speak: "Scream, is this all your power? Did the Riot symbiote only cultivate a puppy that just knows how to bark and howl?"

Scream's eyes instantly became bloodshot, anger making her even more frantic. She let out a deafening shriek, the intensity of the sound wave several times stronger than before. The steel beams throughout the parking garage began to creak, and cracks appeared in the concrete walls. Under the cover of the sound wave, she rushed towards Dominic again, this time her hands transforming into several symbiote tendrils, each tipped with sharp spikes, stabbing violently at Dominic.

Dominic stood still, watching Scream's attack coldly. Just as the tendrils were about to pierce his cheek, he raised a hand, a seemingly effortless movement, yet precisely grabbing her swinging claws. His grip was as hard as steel, firmly holding Scream's claws suspended in the air, no matter how hard she struggled, it was useless.

"Only looks," he snorted coldly, his tone full of disdain, "You things always like to use the most brutal methods to hide your inner emptiness and cowardice. Scream, let me ask you, do you have any more ferocious moves? If not, then I'll send you to meet Riot, and let him see how incompetent his subordinate is."

Scream let out a roar, as if responding to his provocation. She concentrated all her symbiote power onto her arm, the tendrils transforming into a giant spike, stabbing towards Dominic's chest. Her eyes were full of bloodthirsty light; she firmly believed that this attack would be enough to pierce all his defenses.

But Dominic simply raised his other hand, quickly and precisely grabbing the spike. With a slight squeeze, the giant spike actually began to crack, and as his fingers tightened, the spike finally shattered into fragments, scattering on the ground like glass.

"Foolish." Dominic's voice was as cold as iron, his gaze turned sharp as a knife, and his body suddenly took a step forward. His palm shot out quickly, accurately seizing Scream's throat, lifting her entire body high into the air. Scream's feet kicked wildly in the air, her tendrils flailing everywhere, but she couldn't budge him in the slightest.

"You think you can threaten me? Futile." Dominic said in a low voice, his palm tightening slightly, and Scream's body began to emit sounds of cracking under the strain.

Scream struggled, letting out a final shriek. The sound wave directly cracked the parking garage floor, but Dominic's expression didn't change in the slightest. He said coldly, "It's over."

With a sudden squeeze of his hand, Scream's body completely disintegrated in a deafening roar, scattering onto the ground as a mass of symbiote fragments, losing all signs of life. The parking garage instantly returned to silence, leaving only Dominic standing in place, indifferently looking at the remains on the ground.

He turned and left as if nothing had happened, leaving only one sentence echoing in the air: "Useless struggles, do they even deserve to be called ferocious?"

Dominic slowly descended from the sky, the air beneath his feet seemingly forming an invisible staircase. His figure was outlined incredibly clearly by the sunlight, behind him the clear blue sky, as if a god had descended. Eddie looked up at this scene, his mouth twitching slightly: "He can fly?"

Deadpool stood to the side, hands on his hips, looking smug: "Didn't I tell you already, is he Superman? Oh wait, the Asian version of Superman! And he can see through—" He suddenly stopped, winking at Dominic, "Can you really see through clothes? Like when some beautiful women wear very little—"

Venom suddenly interrupted, a low voice coming from Eddie's body: "I like this joke, even if it's stupid."

Dominic landed coldly, not bothering to look at Deadpool, just saying lightly: "If you keep spouting nonsense, I'll make you the first person on Earth to eat a bullet through their mouth."

Deadpool shrugged, then spread his arms like a bored child: "Alright, alright, no more jokes, but listen, I've already thought of our team name! We can call ourselves...'Multidimensional Heroes'! Isn't that cool?!"

Venom immediately scoffed: "That name is terrible."

Dominic was equally blunt: "Worse than garbage."

Deadpool's mouth twitched, as if he'd been stabbed, but he quickly regained his grinning look: "Okay, then how about 'Violent Heavenly Group'? Or 'Three Masters of Destruction'? Or even 'Heroic Crimson Alliance'?"

Eddie's face darkened, standing beside them with his arms crossed: "Why don't you just call yourselves 'Three Idiots'? Sounds more fitting for you."

Deadpool slapped his thigh, sighing dramatically: "See? Forming a team really is a thankless task. It would be better if I were alone, then I wouldn't have to rack my brain for names."

Venom snorted: "You rack your brain? That's a joke."

The few of them bickered all the way until they finally arrived at the gates of the Life Foundation. Broken glass reflected blinding light in the sun, and the surroundings were unusually silent, as if even the wind held its breath. The area in front of the gate was a mess, with the bodies of mercenaries lying scattered on the ground, and the air was filled with a pungent smell of gunpowder.

Eddie raised his hand to push open the half-closed gate, just about to speak: "Okay, let's go in and find—"

Dominic suddenly raised his hand, his voice low and calm: "Riot, is here."

Before he finished speaking, there was a sudden violent whoosh from the sky. A black shadow descended from above, crashing heavily onto the ground, kicking up a circle of flying dust and debris. Boom—the ground shook, the shattered tiles spreading out like a spiderweb, and the few people instinctively stepped back a few paces.

As the dust settled, a massive figure slowly rose from the deep crater. His body flowed like liquid metal, the black and dark red symbiote patterns intertwined. Tendrils twitched slightly in the air, radiating a suffocating sense of oppression. His eyes were a hideous deep red, and a row of sharp teeth was bared in a grin.

"Welcome to hell." The Riot King spoke in a low voice, his voice trembling like metal. His tone was both bloodthirsty and brutal, "I will personally tear apart every single bone in your bodies, then melt them into statues and display them in my palace."

Deadpool raised a finger, drawing out his words: "Uh—that sounds very environmentally unfriendly. You should learn how to kill sustainably." He paused, then added, "Like finishing it in one go, no wasted resources."

Riot didn't respond, simply slowly raising a massive arm. His fingernails had transformed into sharp blades, gleaming coldly in the sunlight: "Deadpool, you'll be the first."
