I was asking Taji that as we stood at the side of the main 'street' of the cove, watching as a dozen pirates were marched down towards the docks with their hands clasped behind their heads, surrendering instead of losing their lives.
Some were casting hate filled glares towards their captors, some were sobbing quietly, while most were just staring blankly at the ground, shuffling forwards and doing their best to not draw any additional attention towards themselves.
Running her hand down my back, Taji hummed and leaned closer, murmuring "Yeah, more often than not these pirates are accustomed to just bullying merchants and civilians, not trained soldiers and other killers." right into my ear.
She had no need to be as close as she was, nor was there a particular reason her hand needed to slide down past my waist and land comfortably on the curve of my ass, but here we were... standing together somewhat intimately.
