Mei's Survival Rules.
First, Mei's late-night snack cannot be eaten, otherwise there's a high probability of death.
Second, Mei's vicinity is safe, but she herself is unsafe.
Third, if you encounter Mei, do not interact with her in any way, otherwise you will be force-fed.
Fourth, from the moment Mei sees you, as long as you adhere to the third point, you are safe for half an hour; please seek refuge in the nearest safe zone in time. If you fail to escape Mei's vicinity within half an hour, you will be force-fed.
Fifth, if you are unfortunately force-fed by Mei, please do not be sad; her late-night snack is not necessarily fatal and may even bring some positive effects. (Low probability, not for the unlucky)
Sixth, after the first bite of food is consumed, Mei will leave.
Lucas, holding Raiden Mei, thought of many things in his mind.
These were all pieces of information he had compiled through countless death cycles.
Now, Mei...
Was about to force-feed him.
"This scene came earlier than I expected, but... there's nothing to be afraid of anymore."
Releasing Raiden Mei from his embrace, Lucas gently placed her on the ground, then looked up at Mei, who was no longer calm and whose eyes were bloodshot, and said, "I'll eat, don't do it yourself, I'll do it."
Compared to being force-fed.
Lucas still preferred to do it himself.
You see...
Mei was very rough at this time; if she did it, she could crush Lucas's teeth.
Performing the stunt of swallowing broken teeth.
Hearing the reply.
Mei's mental state instantly stabilized a lot; she looked him up and down, then silently handed over the lunchbox.
Her purple eyes stared intently at the man.
Lucas knew that any unusual movement from him would provoke Mei in her current state; he had tried to overturn the lunchbox before.
It was futile.
Mei would simply grab the food from the ground and shove it into Lucas's mouth, including her own hand.
Pretending to eat it and then spitting it out was not allowed.
This thing was decided the moment it was swallowed, possessing a kind of rule-defying, grotesque beauty.
Taking the lunchbox.
Slowly opening the lid.
Lucas saw the delicacy Mei had meticulously prepared for him.
Tofu pudding. It was as if it were brain matter extracted from some creature's skull, its exterior a grayish-white, with numerous reddish blood streaks. Upon closer inspection, one could even see some particles and bubbles on its surface.
"Good, good, another new trick."
Lucas remembered that the last late-night snack Mei made was an unremarkable bread soaked in blood.
After eating it...
Lucas had diarrhea all the way and was supposed to die from it, but in the end, he couldn't hold in a fart and was caught by the Night Valkyries.
He wondered what surprises this tofu pudding would bring.
Sighing softly.
Lucas picked up the spoon next to it.
The tofu pudding was served in an exquisite silver bowl.
It was held in place by the tray at the bottom of the lunchbox and the lid at the top, preventing it from shaking or spilling.
Lucas touched the delicacy in the bowl with his spoon.
The tofu pudding had a viscous, springy texture, giving a very disgusting feeling.
Especially the blood streaks within it, and the faint fishy smell, made it truly difficult to swallow.
Just as Lucas was about to taste the delicacy.
Artificial Honkai Collapse.
The Headmaster, transformed into a terrifying Honkai Beast, was forcibly breaking through.
Mei had set up two barriers between them.
The first, a wind wall; the second, quicksand.
Theresa could have taken a long way around to bypass these two barriers, but she had no such intention, choosing to confront them head-on.
Her purplish-black wings flapped.
The Headmaster, like a giant lizard-man, steadily approached through the air.
Mei couldn't stop Theresa.
Nor did she have any intention of stopping her now.
The Purple-haired girl merely urged Lucas, saying, "Lucas, sir... it's time for your meal."
This was the final warning.
...
St. Freya Academy was in turmoil, and countless eyes were fixed on this place.
Night Valkyries...
Yandere Valkyries...
Everyone approached like walking corpses.
They were as dense as migrating ants.
The earth-shaking scene couldn't stop them; instead, it made people even more excited.
Lucas had no way out. Even if he didn't die from this dark cuisine, he would be killed by the swarming Valkyries.
With a determination to die rather than live, Lucas scooped a spoonful of tofu pudding and directly put it into his mouth.
Sweet, sour, bitter, spicy, salty—no single flavor could describe it.
Lucas's taste buds exploded.
The texture, however, was very soft and tender.
But the taste was truly indescribable.
Lucas suppressed his nausea and swallowed it. Upon seeing him take a bite, Mobius immediately turned around with her classical lantern.
"The candle flame does not extinguish, civilization endures. I should leave now, I should leave now..."
Mobius mumbled incomprehensible words and walked away without looking back.
A single step covered over ten meters.
It looked very eerie.
Mobius's departure also symbolized the collapse of two barriers.
Theresa instantly broke through, her massive body landing heavily in front of Lucas.
A hoarse yet penetrating voice rang out.
"Bad student... Bad student! Hand over the Key, hand it over!"
The Headmaster did not knock out Lucas and take him away as she had in previous cycles; instead, she relentlessly demanded Hyperion's Key.
The dark cuisine he had just eaten hadn't taken effect yet; he didn't know what its purpose was.
Lucas didn't pay it any mind.
"Is that thing really useful to Theresa? Clearly... she doesn't need the Key to enter Hyperion."
"Or is it that..."
"Theresa just doesn't want me to see Ai Yi or the Herrscher of Sentience, which is why she values the Key so much?"
Lucas did not ignore these anomalies.
Taking a deep breath, while he was still alive, Lucas took two steps forward, looked up directly at the huge Honkai Beast transformed from Theresa, and said, "Hyperion's Key has already been given to Ai Yi."
As soon as these words were spoken, the surroundings instantly fell silent.
The Headmaster lowered her head, her slender neck bending, her crimson eyes fixed on him, and said hoarsely, "Given to Ai Yi... Why did you give it to Ai Yi?!"
Lucas carefully observed the Honkai Beast before him.
It was a monster, somewhat humanoid but not quite, resembling nothing in particular.
Theresa's head was like a Western dragon's, with six asymmetrical horns on its head.
The wings behind it resembled a bat's, and its tail was long and thin, covered in bone spurs.
Its entire body was adorned with some inexplicable decorations and ribbons.
Judah's Oath was embedded in its chest, becoming something like an Ultraman indicator light, still flashing.
It was similar to Mobius, Kosma, and other Elysian Realm members.
Theresa's Artificial Honkai Collapse was a bit strange.
Furthermore...
"Headmaster, is this really an Artificial Honkai Collapse?"
A thought suddenly popped into Lucas's mind.
If it wasn't, then what could it be?
Could it be a complete transformation form?
"Although I haven't encountered a Yandere Valkyrie with the same transformation ability as the Night Valkyries... it's not impossible. There's a perfect example right in front of me."
Lucas had many thoughts, but in reality, only a moment had passed.
Theresa didn't wait for Lucas's answer. She roared, "Hyperion's Key is the Headmaster's treasure."
"It's mine! No one can take it away."
"No one!"
With that, Theresa opened her monstrous maw and bit down.
