The game had reached a very critical point.
If the Werewolves killed the wrong person, their chances of being eliminated would greatly increase.
Xavier hadn't expected the game to be so intense; it was truly full of drama.
After patrolling with Hu Tao and Lyney, they finally decided to kill Xiao.
Afterward, Xavier knocked on Xiao's door again.
"The one to be killed tonight must be me, right?" Xiao said slowly, leaning against the doorframe.
Xavier subconsciously asked, "How did you know? Did you secretly use your ability to see?"
Xiao remained expressionless: "If that were the case, then there would be no need for me to participate in this game."
"Then it's..."
"Because you knocked on the door too quickly."
"..."
Xavier was speechless for a moment; it turned out his small detail had given him away. Sure enough, this mode and gameplay had more details than other modes.
"Alright, anyway, you won't be able to say your last words tomorrow, so it doesn't matter if I tell you in advance."
"You were indeed killed, so you have one night to decide who to take with you, or you can choose not to activate your skill."
After a moment of thought, Xiao said, "Don't worry, I will definitely fire that shot. Goodnight."
Leaving Xiao's floor, Xavier stretched.
Suddenly, he felt a gust of wind, but when he looked back, he saw nothing.
"What that butler said couldn't be true, could it? Is there really something, and you really can't go out at night?"
Xavier shook his head. He was a good young man of the 21st century; how could he believe such things?
So he continued to knock on Itto's door.
"Not going, not going, it's all the same whether I look or not. I think Hu Tao is definitely the Werewolf. No matter what, I'm going to vote her out tomorrow!"
Itto was too lazy to go out and patrol, convinced that Hu Tao was the final Werewolf.
Although his brain wasn't very useful, he held grudges!
"Chongyun, why is this ancient castle so big, and why is the restroom in the corridor?"
Inside the room, Xingqiu complained while reading a book.
Chongyun leaned on a nearby chair and asked, "What's wrong? Do you need to use the restroom?"
Xingqiu said somewhat awkwardly, "I do a little, but I can still hold it..."
"It's just going to the restroom, there's no need to be so scared, right?"
Chongyun didn't understand why Xingqiu was even afraid to go to the restroom.
Xingqiu stammered, "I always feel like something isn't right. How about... you come with me?"
Helpless, Chongyun had no choice but to agree to Xingqiu.
He carried the kerosene lamp and walked down the dimly lit corridor.
"Crack!"
Just then, lightning flashed in the sky, and within two seconds, it began to pour rain.
The sound of the rain, coupled with the occasional flashes of lightning, made Xingqiu feel even more that something was amiss.
"It's okay, it's okay, I have a Pure Yang Body, no evil spirits dare to approach me!" Chongyun comforted him.
"Alright, but you must not leave while I'm in the restroom."
Xingqiu carried the kerosene lamp into the restroom. Fortunately, everything went smoothly, and he came out of the restroom not long after.
But they didn't expect that as soon as they came out of the restroom, they saw a black figure.
"Oh no, there really isn't something, is there!" Xingqiu jumped in fright and recoiled.
Chongyun frowned and said, "It shouldn't be, right? Could what that butler said all be true? But that's too strange."
Chongyun was full of curiosity, so he led Xingqiu towards the black figure.
"Hey, Chongyun, let's just forget it. Why don't we tell Xavier and the others tomorrow and then decide?"
Instead of stopping, Chongyun's steps quickened.
"Oh, such an interesting thing, of course, it's better to go and see it now."
After saying that, he pulled Xingqiu and ran over.
"Hmm? It was just here a moment ago, why is it gone?"
After chasing for a while, the black figure suddenly disappeared in front of the two of them.
"I said let's just forget it! Let's go back and talk, let's go back and talk."
Xingqiu pulled Chongyun, wanting to leave.
And at this moment, the mysterious black figure suddenly reappeared!
"Roar!"
This terrifying mysterious figure let out a low growl.
He spread his arms, with a green face and fangs, and a long tongue sticking out.
"Help! There's a ghost!" Xingqiu screamed, shouting in fright.
Chongyun, however, was filled with excitement: "Great! After so long, I've finally encountered a ghost!"
After speaking, Chongyun pulled out a talisman from his waist.
After chanting a spell, the talisman began Burning.
"Boom!"
Flames burned towards this terrifying ghost, causing him to let out strange cries.
"Ouch, I'm Burning to death, I'm Burning to death!"
Mid-Burning, the black figure took off his clothes and jumped around.
"So annoying! This Daddy, am about to be burned to death!"
Chongyun held the kerosene lamp and looked closely, saying in surprise, "Huh? It's you, Itto!"
Itto said furiously, "I just wanted to pretend to be a ghost to scare Yoimiya, to get back at her for scaring me last time. I didn't expect you guys to catch up! It's infuriating for This Daddy!"
Chongyun scratched his head and said, "I'm sorry, we really thought we ran into some ghost..."
Itto crossed his arms and snorted, "How can there be so many ghosts in this world? Even if there are, This Daddy, can take care of them all in a jiffy!"
His confident demeanor made Chongyun admire him greatly.
"What are you guys arguing about so late at night? Are you going to let people sleep or not?!"
Kaveh, wearing a nightcap and pajamas, carrying a doll, walked out of the room.
"We're sorry, Kaveh, we'll leave now!"
Chongyun apologized repeatedly, then pulled Xingqiu and Itto away.
"Hah~ I'm so sleepy, I still need to draw blueprints tomorrow..." Kaveh stumbled back.
Unbeknownst to him, in his dazed state, he walked into the wrong door, pushing open the adjacent room's door.
Two minutes later.
"Bang!"
Kaveh was directly kicked out of the room by its owner.
Alhaitham walked out of the room and asked Kaveh, who was on the floor, "What are you doing in my room so late at night?"
"Huh? Your room!"
Kaveh instantly sobered up, rubbed his eyes, and realized that he had indeed entered the wrong room.
But even so, Kaveh was unwilling to admit his mistake.
He stiffened his neck and said, "I didn't go to the wrong room! I was just checking if everyone was asleep, if they were entangled by any strange things!"
Alhaitham said indifferently, "If the strange things you're referring to are yourself, then I was indeed entangled."
"You!"
"Alright, you can go back now, otherwise I'll seriously suspect you deliberately entered the wrong room."
