Amuro Toru paused for two seconds before sneering. "Don't say that guy's name in front of my face again. I feel sick just hearing his name."
Kurokawa Saki shrugged and then looked at Vermouth. She could guess that Vermouth just wanted to anger Bourbon, so she purposely mentioned this matter.
"Alright, let's go, Sake. It's time to have fun."
"Yes." Kurokawa Saki smiled brightly.
Amuro Toru followed behind the two of them with an expressionless face, his heart was churning. He knew very well that there were other people nearby when Morofushi Hiromitsu committed suicide. But he still couldn't calm himself when this matter was mentioned.
And now, he found out that Sake was also among the people there.
But given by how far he is, can he help?
It was good enough if he didn't add into the chaos.
And that was only if this person was truly the undercover… he never had the chance to fully confirm it.
"By the way, why do you call me to the US?" Kurokawa Saki asked along the way.
"The FBI has been chasing me lately, so I want you to protect me," Vermouth replied calmly.
"Huh? Why don't you ask Calvados?" Kurokawa Saki was confused when she heard Vermouth's words. Calvados was also a sniper like her, so he can help Vermouth, right?
"Because you're the best sniper now, Sweety." Vermouth's eyes darkened slightly. "The person you're facing is the best in the FBI."
Kurokawa Saki: "..." Akai Shuichi
Considering that Kudo Shinichi was already in his second year of high school, it meant that this was not the one where Vermouth met Mouri Ran and Kudo Shinichi.
Did the FBI try to round up Vermouth again in the original story?
She didn't know.
"It's not that cheap to ask for my help, Vermouth," Kurokawa Saki said with a cunning and bright smile.
"Don't worry, I'll give you enough for you to enjoy your life." Vermouth chuckled.
"Deal."
"Toru, you can drive us to the safe house number 3," Vermouth said.
"Yes."
Kurokawa Saki looked at Amuro Toru who had become Vermouth's driver and her lips twitched slightly. It seemed that this guy did become her driver several times.
There was a car following them, which was driven by Morofushi Hiromitsu.
She hoped that they could catch up.
[By the way, Kenan, I want you to mobilize the FBI ghosts to check the FBI who are rounding up Vermouth later. Check if there's anyone who leaked the message out. There are a lot of rats in the FBI]
[Got it] Kenan's voice was murderous when he said it and he was ready to go.
Kurokawa Saki smiled slightly with a faint murderous intent.
These people were her real target during the operation… and they would die a real death instead of being 'saved.'
"Sweety, it's not time yet. The temperature is too cold," Vermouth patted Kurokawa Saki's hand.
Vermouth had never underestimated Sake.
This is a person who had killed countless people and escaped unscathed all over Europe. Her mission record was also 100% and there has never been any failure. Now that the Europe's line has been in the organization's full control, the Boss promoted Sake and also asked her to help Vermouth.
In his words: he wanted Sake to help Rum.
Vermouth knew that Rum would never agree, but at least, Sake would be able to deal with the FBI.
"Don't worry, I won't let them hurt you." Kurokawa Saki smiled back.
Amuro Toru watched from the front, his expression solemn.
…
The next day, Kurokawa Saki went on her own with the 'ghosts' who had explored the area first for her. Morofushi Hiromitsu picked the perfect sniper shot and Kenan informed her about the FBI distribution list to help her arrange her evacuation. Aunt Kira was following Vermouth, informing the mission progress while keeping a certain distance.
Even though they were technically 'ghosts' but if they were too close, it might attract the attention of other ordinary people nearby.
Morofushi Hiromitsu sighed. "There are many ghosts who are gone by now."
"It's their decision and I won't stop them." Kurokawa Saki shrugged. There are only so many undercover agents whom she had saved. Once they have passed the 1 year period, they hoped that they could return to the living.
She granted them their wishes but they will forget what had happened during this period of time and other people will only know that they have been hospitalized. Even the other ghosts seemed to have their memories corrected and many things that these ghosts did turn into something that happened through coincidences under Kurokawa Saki's arrangement.
Moreover, upon their return to the living, they would be in a near death state and were directly in the hospital. It would take them some time to recover and there would be a fake name record for them until they become conscious.
So far, none of these people have become conscious.
Kurokawa Saki guessed that she had to wait until the start of the main storyline.
These people will then be able to wake up and tell their comrades that they thought they had died but they were actually saved. But they would know nothing of what had happened. Moreover, all of their records would be directly erased. All the outside world knows is that they have been in the hospital all this time.
She was not sure of the details, though.
Because of this, there are not many 'ghosts' who followed Kurokawa Saki by now. The undercover from Japanese Public Security would be headed by Morofushi Hiromitsu, the FBI would be headed by Kenan, and the CIA would be headed by Aunt Kira. Other ghosts from official agencies in Europe basically stayed in their respective countries to monitor the lines she arranged.
The surprising thing is that there was no one else from Interpol.
Kurokawa Saki deeply suspected that the Commissioner felt that it was enough to send one because of her performance so far. The achievements were not made public, but her superior would definitely know about this matter.
After all, Karin was busy 24 hours/day because of her.
Only when Kurokawa Saki took a break would Karin be relieved.
In fact, her team has been expanded three times because of her high efficiency. Moreover, there were a few people from Interpol who were left behind in various countries in Europe waiting for the signal to start the global roundup.
Naturally, the Interpol's intelligence was the main force for this.
The local police had also agreed and they were just waiting for it while doing their duties and doing some other small jobs.
Because Kurokawa Saki requested that until she could catch the Boss or at least the second in command, they should not do anything to these special lines.
They also agreed.
After all, the headquarters was not in Europe. And with the organization having been under their control, the damage done to the society would be minimal. With the large favour they have owed, just helping to act and maintain these until it's time is nothing.
"Vermouth, the FBI are coming." Kurokawa Saki reminded through the voice channel and frowned. "Escape through route D."
"Yes." Vermouth, who had already finished the transaction, immediately ran in the direction that Kurokawa Saki mentioned.
At this moment, Kurokawa Saki was looking at the FBI agents that Kenan had marked and after a moment, opened fire.
Bang!
Kurokawa Saki didn't waste time and swiftly changed direction to another FBI agent.
Bang!
The second person fell down and the sudden notification from the system stunned Kurokawa Saki.
[Ding, player Winery Undercover in FBI [9] had died… it's judged that you have been killed by the Red Party. You have completed the prologue mission and it's confirmed that you have been killed because you've been exposed as undercover agents.]
Kurokawa Saki was completely shocked.
She was only targeting the undercover FBI, but she actually managed to find another player?
This is shocking.
There is only a day or two before it's time for the main storyline to start and a player is killed?
No. 9 is really unlucky.
Thankfully, Kurokawa Saki only paused for a second before aiming to the third one and then shot the other party.
Bang!
Once she was done, Kurokawa Saki cleaned up her belongings without hesitation and left promptly.
The only pity is that Akai Shuichi was on the other end of the building, so it's impossible to find him.
"Over here."
With the lead of the ghosts, Kurokawa Saki evacuated safely without leaving any traces nor being caught in the surveillance cameras. So clean and efficient.
Once it was safe, Kurokawa Saki opened her brain channel and saw that it had exploded.
…
Police Officer in the Metropolitan Police Station [4]: BWAHAHAHAHA! Your luck is so bad that you died just two days before the start of the main storyline aren't you?
Police Officer in the Metropolitan Police Station [4]: I can't believe this!
[9]: I've been so careful! How the hell am I even getting found out when I've been here for nearly 3 years! Ahh, my skills are going to be halved! All my hard work is for nothing!
[9]: It would have been better if I hadn't worked so hard.
Police Officer in the Metropolitan Police Station [4]: BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
Corrupted FBI [8]: Trash
[9]: Damn it! Are there still anyone from the black side aside from this trashy FBI?
Police Officer in the Metropolitan Police Station [4]: There wouldn't be any. The others should be on the Red side. You Black side have too many people in the first place!
[9]: Shut up! I only have a few minutes before being sent to the dark room!
Corrupted FBI [8]: Let me tell you, I'm not exactly from the Black side but a third party. My first main mission hasn't even started
[9]: WHAT?
[9]: You're saying that you're the rare third party, but….
Police Officer in the Metropolitan Police Station [4]: I guessed as such. No. 3 told me that his main storyline will not start but he chose to enter the black room because he couldn't stand living with his previous ID.
[9]: You're cheating! Ah, you're cheating…"
