After everyone made it through the first round, the three of them made it to the second round, barely eliminating. Luckily, in the final moments of the second round, Moon managed to steal the final money just in time.
"That was close. I thought I'd be eliminated too. You've got potential," Ares complimented.
"No way. If it weren't for you healing me, I wouldn't have succeeded in stealing it." Moon was blushing.
"Let me know when you're done flirting. I'll prepare my weapons in the meantime," Semi said sarcastically again.
"Now, audience, we're in the final round. Are you excited, June?" Scotty said, opening the event.
"Of course, Scotty. The final round will be the Las Vegas stage, but there will be a desert storm inside, making visibility difficult. This will add to the excitement of our race," June added.
"Let's not waste any more time. Let's get started. We have The Overdogs and finally The Mighty. The stages are ready, let's get started."
The Overdogs have one heavy and two light classes, making them quite a formidable team for the three of them. However, they have come this far and cannot afford to give up like this. When the game started, in the Las Vegas map, there was a deserted sandstorm, visibility was almost impossible. The three of them rushed to the first vault, which was in a casino building. It was deserted and filled with sand, and then they immediately opened the vault. While waiting, Ares wondered why the opposing team hadn't arrived yet, so she kept quiet and listened to the sounds around her.
But then something unexpected happened. Suddenly, Heavy Charge 'N' Slam into the building. Ares and Moon were nearby. She didn't hesitate to push him away from her. She was hit full force and was instantly eliminated. Moon, who saw him, rushed to fight Heavy, but Light fired a stun gun from behind him, causing him to walk awkwardly.
"W-what the hell? Why does it have to be now?"
He was then shot in the back by Light, who was eliminated. Semi didn't hesitate to try to help, but the second Light rushed in and stabbed him in the back with his dagger.
"Oh, it looks like they've all been taken out. The Mighty's in trouble," Scotty said.
While waiting for Semi to respawn, she complained.
"What the hell? Did they both use stun gun?"
"Yeah, I didn't even hear the footsteps until the Heavy came charging at me."
"Sorry, Ares. I'm supposed to be your protector."
"Come on, we haven't lost yet. Let's figure it out
The three then revive across from the Las Vegas parking lot, where the first Cashout is located. Ares looks from afar and notices something strange. There's no one around, so she orders everyone to stay clear of it. It could be a trap. Semi throws a sonar into the area, and it turns out the other side is directly below the Cashout.
"I thought it was there," Ares looks over, considering.
"So what are we going to do?" Moon asks.
"There's one way."
She then grabbed a red explosive canister and dropped it on the ground, avoiding Cashout's fall. The ground exploded, revealing the three opposing forces. Without delay, Ares and Semi immediately opened fire on Light, capturing it. Moon immediately threw a pyro at Heavy and team wipe Then started stealing and got the first lump sum of money And during the time waiting for the money to come in, the opposing team couldn't even steal it once.
"Finally, Dagger is so annoying," Semi complained again.
"Don't be so hasty. We only have one more round. I have a plan, but it's too risky to lose. Would you like to take the risk with me?" Ares offered.
"Sure, I'll take the risk with you," Moon replied.
Then the three of them waited in the circle, gossiping. Time ticked by until the cashout was halfway through, but The Mighty's team still hadn't arrived. Then Moon entered the room, shielding herself with a Riot Shield, and then approached. The opposing team immediately shot at him. Light, with the dagger, was about to leave the room to stab him in the back.
"Now, semi!!!!!" Ares signaled.
Semi slid through the vent and threw a Flashbang, blinding the opponent. The three then swarmed into the room. Ares took out the Light Dagger, Semi took out the second Light, and Moon engaged the Heavy, earning another team wipe.
"Wait, don't steal yet. Wait until it's close to the time, then steal," Ares warned Semi.
When the time came, Semi immediately stole, and the opponent spawned, but the distance to Cashout was too far, so there wasn't enough time to steal.
"I can't believe it! The Mighty managed to steal the match so beautifully. Their strategic planning and teamwork helped them win the tournament. It was amazing! Thank you to the audience for watching," Scotty concluded.
The three stood amidst the crowd cheering and chanting.
"First time ever!!!! I can't believe it! Our team's first win ever!" Moon couldn't help but smile with joy.
"I really misjudged you, Ares. You really saved us. I have to admit it," Semi praised her.
"No way! If it weren't for you guys, I don't know if I could have made this plan work."
Then the three teleported to the backstage lounge, where they saw G watching them play.
"Amazing! Our team's first tournament win! Thanks to our teachers," Big G thanked them.
"Well, as promised, I've taught you everything I know. You can probably continue learning without me. So, goodbye," Ares said goodbye to everyone.
Moon, hearing him, quickly grabbed her hand before she could log out of the game. He gave her a serious look.
"Don't you have a group? Come join us! We'd never do anything like that. Having fun with us is always a good idea."
"That's right, Ares. You can come join us. I know you went to the party and got left behind. Moon told me about it. You should come join us," Semi quickly interrupted her.
Ares looked at everyone who was looking at her with pleading eyes, wanting them to be on the team. She couldn't stand those gazes anymore, so she agreed to be with them. The three of them were all happy, jumping, nodding, and smiling at her. It was a feeling Ares had never felt before. She had never been invited to a team like this before.
While Ares was rummaging through the changing room, Semi noticed and asked her.
"Ares, you have so many outfits. Can I see them?"
"Sure, but it's a bit too much. I don't really organize them."
While Ares was organizing her clothes, Semi noticed a suit. She seemed very interested and had a good idea, so she called everyone to a meeting.
"Semi, if you're going to talk about buying snacks, I'll pass." Moon, who was resting, was awakened to listen to the team meeting.
"Not at all. I have an idea. What if we had team uniforms? I found Ares's suit. It would be interesting if we had team uniforms," Semi suggested.
Everyone on the team agreed, except Ares, who didn't offer any opinions, but he didn't object. He wanted them to do what they wanted happily. Meanwhile, a happy time for the team was approaching. On the other side of the virtual world, danger was about to strike.

In a dark room, there was a computer desk in the center. A light emanated from a screen. A strange symbol appeared on the screen. It read CNS.
"The Finals? I wonder how good the security system is?" A hooded stranger stared at the screen, displaying a promotional video for The Finals.
