Boom!
A terrifying surge of crimson energy erupted from Wanda Maximoff's body. Her eyes glowed an ominous red, and swirling spheres of chaos energy pulsed in her hands, overflowing with writhing scarlet tendrils.
At that moment, Wanda—the Scarlet Witch—opened her eyes. Her gaze was cold, divine, and detached, as if a god were looking down upon insects beneath her feet.
"Shield of the Seraphim!"
Sensing the violent magical fluctuations radiating from Wanda, Doctor Stephen Strange quickly crossed his hands and summoned a massive golden barrier of light.
The Shield of the Seraphim, an absolute defensive spell drawn from the Seraphim Dimension, enveloped the entire group of Avengers within its radiant protection.
"Pathetic ants," Wanda said icily.
She raised her right hand, unleashing a crimson sphere of Origin Magic that slammed into Strange's shield. The seemingly indestructible barrier—capable of withstanding even spacecraft collisions—shattered like glass.
"Uh… Doctor Strange!" Peter Parker yelped as he fired his web shooters, swinging up and away from the explosion. "You didn't say we'd have to fight one of our own!"
Electricity crackled. Thor was already cloaked in lightning as Stormbreaker flew into his hand. He rose into the air, his eyes blazing white.
This was part of Doctor Strange's contingency plan—if Wanda ever lost control, Thor would strike her down.
Rumble!
Stormbreaker came crashing down from above—but stopped dead in the air, unable to move forward. The terrifying wave of Origin Magic surrounding Wanda completely neutralized Thor's attack.
"Damn it, Strange! What kind of monster did you create?!"
Thor's expression turned grim as Wanda's piercing red eyes met his. For the first time in years, the God of Thunder felt the cold stare of death.
Boom!
Wanda brought her hands together and fired a concentrated blast of Origin Magic that crackled with destructive power straight toward Thor.
"The Crimson Bands of Cyttorak!"
Doctor Strange instantly appeared in front of Thor, chanting a spell. The destructive energy exploded into countless glowing butterflies that fluttered away harmlessly.
It was one of Strange's most powerful defensive spells—second only to the manipulation of time itself.
He had once used this very magic to disperse a miniature black hole created by Thanos.
Boom!
But even Strange's counterspell faltered. Wanda's chaos energy—rooted in the ability to rewrite reality itself—reformed as red butterflies and surged back toward Strange, striking him with explosive force.
"Ugh—Wanda!" Strange coughed blood, his voice strained. "Don't let the power of the Dimensional Lord consume your soul!"
Twin whips of glowing magic materialized in his hands, wrapping tightly around Wanda's arms as he shouted, trying to reach her mind.
"Doctor… Strange?"
His words echoed deep in her consciousness. Wanda's soul trembled, and clarity flickered in her eyes as her reason began to return.
"Wanda, now's not the time to hesitate!" Strange urged. "We only have one shot. Use your Origin Magic—strip Allens of his powers and banish him back to his original timeline!"
Seeing her regain awareness, Strange sighed with relief. He then turned to the quantum vortex above their heads, glowing ominously.
Wanda looked up—and her heart clenched. Through the portal, she could see New York City reduced to ruins, nothing left but craters and collapsed skyscrapers.
"Wanda," Strange said gravely, floating beside her with the help of his Cloak of Levitation. "The future depends on you."
Wanda exhaled slowly, steadying her trembling hands. "I just hope this works… I can barely contain the Origin Magic surging inside me."
Her body shimmered with waves of scarlet energy as the power within her reached its peak.
Hum… hum… hum…
The chaotic magic built up violently, her psychic power fusing with the Origin Magic and ascending to a higher level. Wanda felt herself slip into another realm—a world of endless chaos and shifting forms.
This world was pure disorder and uncertainty, and yet her every word, her every thought, seemed to shape its form.
"The true essence of Origin Magic…" Doctor Strange murmured, watching her in awe. "Its greatest ability—Mind Alters Reality."
As the Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar-Taj, Strange drew his own power from countless other dimensions. And so, he fully understood the danger of the Chaos Dimension's influence over Wanda's soul.
Wanda raised her hands. Her voice echoed with divine authority:
"Deprive Allens of all his powers."
"Cast him out from this timeline!"
Her eyes blazed scarlet as the Origin Magic shot upward into the quantum vortex.
At the same moment—in the year 2014—the energy burst forth through War Machine's armor, using Colonel James Rhodes as a conduit. A terrifying pulse of chaos energy spread across the Earth.
Rumble!
In the skies above, the Ancient One—the former Sorcerer Supreme—watched calmly from the Sanctum.
"Origin Magic…" she whispered. "So, the future Strange has awakened its full potential."
Even without the Time Stone, the Ancient One could still glimpse fragments of the future.
Meanwhile, in another timeline, Allens felt the disturbance. His heart clenched as his precognition ability activated, showing him the chaotic vision unfolding ahead.
"Origin Magic, huh?" he muttered darkly. "The future Avengers never fail to surprise me."
His face twisted into a smirk. He could feel the chaos energy tearing through his body, severing his connection to the powers he had stolen from the Inhumans. The energy around him grew unstable—his existence beginning to slip out of sync with the timeline itself.
"Fools," Allens sneered coldly. "Did you really think this would stop me? How laughable."
Even as his body began to fade, his mind—capable of foreseeing the future—remained calm. He knew this was not the end… but the beginning.
"Future Avengers… we'll meet again."
His voice echoed through the collapsing space-time around him.
"Ultron, Scarlet Witch—initiate the quantum reduction protocol."
A cold smile curved across his lips. Before his body completely vanished from this era, Allens issued one final command.
"This is only the beginning. I will return stronger than ever."
He raised his middle finger toward the quantum vortex and laughed maniacally, his laughter echoing across the ruins of New York.
Behind him, a colossal Ultron unit extended its mechanical arms, grabbing hold of the bewildered Wanda as a massive quantum bridge opened in the sky.
A Skrull warship shot toward the rift at high speed—vanishing into the portal just as multiple Allens duplicates disintegrated one by one.
