Chapter 208 - Chapter 208 Thor Thor Arrives

Kamar-Taj — the Ancient One's retreat. An hour had passed since Tony Stark and the others left. After sending them to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Siberia base through a portal, Baron Mordo returned to the Ancient One's side.

"Great Sorcerer Supreme, can those guys really stop Allens?"

Baron Mordo had never liked Tony and the others. In truth, he had never cared about anyone outside the Kamar-Taj sorcerers—not even the Avengers.

"There is always hope," the Ancient One replied. "Perhaps they can create a miracle. And every time Allens fails, they grow stronger."

Wisdom shone in the Ancient One's eyes. She had protected Earth for thousands of years, and her end was approaching. All she could do now was nurture Earth's own defenders. Weak now, but destined to grow.

"Sorcerer Supreme… Strange…"

A rare trace of hesitation flashed through Mordo's eyes. He was clearly troubled by the name.

"Mordo, I have my own arrangements regarding Strange."

The Ancient One opened her eyes briefly, looked at Mordo, then closed them again.

"Yes, Sorcerer Supreme. I understand."

He lowered his head and performed a sorcerer's bow before withdrawing. His expression, however, revealed unease.

From the Ancient One's tone, it was obvious—Doctor Strange was the successor she had chosen.

Jealousy quietly sprouted within Mordo's heart.

"Such troubled times… Earth's crisis is close at hand."

The Ancient One shook her head gently.

She knew Mordo's thoughts.

She even knew that, in the future, Mordo would become Doctor Strange's greatest enemy.

But now, she was powerless to stop anything.

Because the Avengers' time travel had opened the gates of the multiverse—Mordo's fate had already changed.

Far beyond Earth, a small Kree Beetle-class craft dropped out of the void and appeared behind the Moon in an instant.

Boom.

The ship trembled. Four mechanical clamps extended from beneath the hull, locking it firmly against the lunar crater.

This Beetle-class craft was a third-level Kree attack ship—nicknamed the Necromancer Ship, because its design abandoned all defense for pure offense. Whether it killed enemies or its pilot… was entirely up to fate.

Click.

A round hatch at the rear opened. Thor stepped out—wearing golden divine armor, eyes full of fatigue and age. His once-clean face was now covered in a thick beard. In his right hand, he held Gungnir, the Eternal Spear.

"Damn Ronan the Accuser… Kree ship quality is garbage."

He glared at the damaged vessel and cursed openly.

Ever since Thor was flung into deep space by Gungnir in Asgard, rescued by Thanos, and made a desperate bargain—Thanos would support Thor's revenge… in exchange for Earth's Tesseract.

Swish.

Standing on the far side of the Moon, Thor's eyes glowed white. Using the sight he inherited from Heimdall of Asgard, he easily saw what was happening on Earth.

New York — atop a skyscraper.

Allens, wearing a black suit, suddenly felt someone observing him. No—observing the Earth.

He looked up. A pair of gold-rimmed glasses appeared on his face.

Data flickered rapidly across the lenses, and an image formed before him.

"The Moon? Thor… you finally showed up."

A 3D model of the Moon appeared. On its dark side, Thor gazed toward Earth with divine sight—completely unaware that he was being watched as well.

"Let's see… the Tesseract is in Siberia?"

On the Moon, Thor raised his hand. A holographic projection of Earth appeared above his wrist, cycling rapidly through data before locking onto Siberia.

"The Necromancer ship can only handle one more jump. After that, it'll fall apart."

Thor returned to the cockpit, slammed a few buttons, and shoved the control lever fully forward.

Buzz.

A small wormhole opened in front of the Necromancer ship. It vanished instantly.

Siberia — cloudless sky.

A flash of distortion, and the Necromancer ship appeared—already breaking apart, engulfed in flames, plummeting like a giant fireball.

Boom!

The fireball slammed into the snowfield, melting ice and snow instantly. The ship was reduced to a smoking wreck. Thor emerged from the flames, Gungnir in hand.

"Kree ship quality is awful… but their tech is convenient."

Thor pulled a metallic sphere from his pocket, pressed the button, and tossed it.

Swish.

Light expanded outward.

A detailed projection of biological activity within tens of kilometers lit up the snow.

This was a Life-Trajectory Detection Sphere, used across many planets—but the Kree version was far more advanced.

"Found it."

No matter where something hid—even if life had already gone extinct—the sphere detected all past biological movement. Thor swiftly located the underground S.H.I.E.L.D. base.

His eyes turned cold.

Because of Allens, Thor now held nothing but hatred for Earth… and for Midgard.

"In the name of the All-Father… Gungnir, pierce the underground base."

He raised the Eternal Spear. Divine power surged through him. Gungnir turned into golden light—Thor vanished with it.

Swish.

Moments after Thor disappeared, Allens appeared at the crash site. His eyes glimmered behind the gold-rimmed glasses as he peered straight into the distant S.H.I.E.L.D. base.

"It has begun. Time for the world to witness the power of the Brain—Allens."

His voice was cold. Thor's arrival was no surprise. Neither Thor nor the Avengers ever escaped Allens' surveillance.

"Spaceships… Once this is over, it's time I step onto the cosmic stage."

Allens stepped casually toward the burning wreckage of the Necromancer ship. The flames flickered across his face.
