"Do you feel bored?" Yan Jinzhi asked with a laugh.
Jiang Mingyue shook her head: "How could it be boring? Plus, the scenery here is different. In Nanxi City, you won't see flocks of wild ducks without owners, nor such breathtaking fiery clouds..." As she spoke, she truly looked enchanted.
Yan Jinzhi carried a basket with one hand, inside was a package of beef jerky given by Grandma Jixiang. The old lady had no teeth and naturally couldn't eat it; she made it as a snack for her little grandson, and to entertain guests. There were two flavors, sweet and salty.
Yan Jinzhi didn't take the beef jerky, suggesting Jiang Mingyue keep it for herself. The beef jerky here had a unique flavor, from the meat itself it was different from anywhere else, making it an excellent leisure snack.
As the two of them walked towards the small courtyard, they spotted a figure standing at the door.
"Hey! Yan Jinzhi, is someone looking for you?"
