"It's this greedy little girl, I can smell the chicken on her. Spit it out right now," Granny Zhang said, seeing the grease at the corners of Tang Dan Ni's mouth and suspecting she had stolen her chicken leg. As she spoke, she reached out to tear her mouth open.
Tang Dan Ni dodged while shouting, "I didn't steal your chicken leg! As if I could ever eat your precious chicken leg. It's laughable. All these years, I've never had a bite of meat at your place. Every day it's cabbage, every meal sweet potato and radish. I'm about to turn into a radish myself."
Though Tang Dan Ni wasn't big, her voice sure was. As this grandmother and granddaughter quarreled, the surrounding crowd found their exchange amusing and gathered around to watch.
